The on duty manager was extremely rude and confrontational when I had a small issue with my reservation. I thought as an "SPG" member I would be treated with a little bit of respect - obviously this means nothing at Four Points Cambridge. I will not stay there again and will reconsider my choice of hotel brand for all business travel in the future.

check in was the fastest i have seen . an the staff were great and very freindly ,room was very clean and the shower was great, very little noises from outside the room, we will be back soon.

I am a frequent traveler - VERY frequent - at least 4 days/week for the past 8 YEARS, from Canada all over the USA and occasionally to Europe and Japan. Although my needs (and budget!) are very modest, like most frequent travelers, I appreciate the basics - clean room, everything working, good location, plugs in the room to charge all the gadgets, friendly staff, etc...
I arrived at the Four Points Cambridge for a stay on points completely by accident - someone else had done this for me and I had expected to be in Guelph, not Kitchener, so I wasn't in the best frame of mind when I arrived. Check-in was relatively painless, and the room was a dream - good size, comfy bed, super clean, very functional, well laid-out, everything working!
I was rushed in the morning and made the unusual error of leaving behind a bluetooth speaker that I travel with - upon calling the hotel, Jenny from front desk called around, had a search for it and got back to me within minutes - my speaker was sent to me by Purlator (my expense of course) the next day. In other instances, I have had much more expensive hotels tell me that the housekeeping supervisor wasn't in until the next day, not had calls returned, etc. I was very impressed!
WiFi worked well and didn't require frequent re-logging in, which makes me absolutely crazy...also free parking, and a super nice touch - 2 free bottles of water in every room!
A lovely hotel and I'll be sure to make the point of staying again!
I didn't try the food, spa, or fitness centre, so can't comment on those.

Most Four Points that I have stayed in (and from my experience around 90% of4P) give some form of recognition to Platinums (e.g. free breakfast voucher(s), discount in hotel restaurant, free drink(s)), as most 4P don't have suites for upgrades. This was the first hotel where there was no recognition (except for putting our keys in a platinum folder) and the 250 point amenity showing up in my account (though I was not asked as to which platinum amenity I wanted). In the elevator another couple was complaining about the lack of platinum recognition as well, saying that this is the first time that there was no free breakfast, etc..As well, despite the fact that it was a Saturday night, the onsite restaurant / bar closed at 9:30, so we went to a competitors.

Last minute booking. Terrific Platinum recognition. Girls hockey tournament meant public areas busy. Hunkered down in my suite with some of the most amazing room service food I've experienced at any hotel chain, let alone a 4Points. Shrimp tikka masala was absolutely perfect!

- Blankets and large pillows were covered in fabric pills (small ball of fibers that forms on a piece of cloth from wear and tear), making them unsightly and very uncomfortable to the touch
- Some towels and pillow cases were evidently older than others
- Mattress was too soft - couldn't get a good night's sleep
- Close to Hwy 401 access, but not much else around the area
- Breakfast: Made-to-order eggs was nice and the cooks would bring it to your table

Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed ok if you're a paying customer, not if you're using points
as soon as the guy on the front desk knew I was using points, he was no longer friendly or helpful; infact almost rude; apparently no free continental breakfast if you're using points, "that is only for paying customers".......
well excuse me for spending thousands on hotel rooms in order to collect those points in order to stay free..... isn't that the point of the program!!!!

We recently had to stay at a hotel due to a power outage. We don't use hotels often but the staff went above and beyond to make this as easy and stressless as possible. We had a young baby with us and had no issue fitting playpen and baby needs in the room...it was huge
I would recommend this hotel and their amazing staff to any one looking for a room. Next time we have guests in town I will be telling them to stay there.
Thank you for making a VERY stressfull time so much easier.

We were really impressed. The huge bed was the most comfortable one we've ever had in a hotel. Great night's sleep and then we were wowed by the shower in the morning. The room was nicely set up, bright, cheery and super clean. We'll be sure to recommend your establishment to friends and family.

We have stayed here 4 times and have loved it each time. The staff are fantastic, the rooms are spotless, the pool is lovely and overall the hotel is awesome.
All the staff from the front desk to room attendants are wonderful.

I reserved a room with a King bed, upon check in I was told I was put in a room with two queens and not the King bed I reserved. I asked why? The customer service rep said "sorry we are all sold out." I pointed out to her that was irrelevant, I reserved a room with a King bed, whether or not you are sold out is not my problem. She could not answer and just repeated sorry we are sold out. This is the second time at this hotel, I have made a reservation, shown up, only to find that the hotel staff have "switched,: my room. Enough, what is the point of making a reservation, if you are not going to honour it, I had to pay for my room, since you did not honour our contract; which is what a reservation is, why did I have to pay? You did not honour your end! Your staff must be under the mistaken impression you are the only hotel in town, well, let me disavow you of that notion now! I will never again stay at this hotel, as I have options, which I will exercise in the future and stay elsewhere.

Fantastic Hotel, too bad Management doesn't realize they are in the hospitality industry. Reservation was messed up and Management all the way up to the General Manager refused to fix what was an easy fix for a screw up in their Central Reservations.....Won't stay here again!

I stayed here one night and was really surprised at how nice the room was -- certainly equal to rooms I've paid 2-3 times more in other places. The room was very clean, had a great office setup, and a clean bright bathroom with all the amenities I needed. I especially liked that they gave me 2 free bottles of water! And every staff member I met was friendly and asked about my stay.
I also ate in the restaurant. The food was good though not amazing. However, given that many competitive hotels don't even have a full restaurant, with no dinner at all and only cold continental breakfast (which I can't eat due to dietary restrictions), I was completely satisfied.
I'll definitely try other Four Points hotels when I travel. This one was an excellent value.

Best hotel we have stayed at. Great value for our hockey team. We stayed here four times and were never disappointed. The stay included a full hot breakfast which was awsome and what I looked forward to most about my stay. The staff was always helpful!

Needed a room for one night - called the day before after reviwewing reviews on internet. The only thing I can say is WOW! Staff was very welcoming, rooms are great - walk-in showers are super! Staff at the restaurant are great too. Great job!

This was our first visit to a Four Points by Sheraton, the rooms are large with very spacious bathrooms. The food in the hotel restaurant was amazing. We highly recommend this hotel.

Kids in hallway playing mini hockey till 11pm and all day for 2 days had to tell them myself to go to their rooms or keep it down told the front desk I was pretty disappointed

My stay started with the front desk giving me a hard time about paying cash for my room. I wanted to keep the security deposit on my credit card and pay cash for the room upfront ,but they would not allow this. It was either cash deposit by debit to pay cash for the room or all credit card. I complied even though I have never had a problem checking in before. On seeing our room it was great. Super clean and modern and very comfortable. Our next experience was with "Colin from security" who insisted on coming by 25 times in 2 hours to tell us that we were not allowed to have the latch across the door for our "safety and security". We were in our room talking and our kids were in a room with the door shut which apparently is worse than the team on the 4th floor screamimg and playing nicky nine doors on our floor. Nex, just to feel a class lower, they made our team eat at a consolidated buffet in a separate room from other guests. We paid the same nightly rate as regular guests but were not allowed the full buffet. This all happened on our first day, the next day was not as bad as there were different personnel on that day. Overall the hotel is great for a couple or business traveller but would not recommend it for a team stay. We were clearly viewed as lower class than other guests.

I've stayed at this 4 Points a few times now. I've been happy with the staff and the room each time. Very clean, pleasant decor, and located just off the 401 so I can get off the road as soon as possible. Reasonably priced too. I find hotels in K-W are often overpriced/Toronto priced. The 4 Points seems reasonable. It's always pretty busy, but I haven't had any problems with noise. My one and only criticism is the price of the in house breakfast. $8 for Continental and $12 for the hot breakfast is off the hook. At least for what you get. $8 for a continental is waaaaay too much. For $4 more I may as well get the hot breakfast (which is good but not $12 good).

Want to use you device on wi-fi? Well stay near the door of your room or sit on the toilet 'cause that's only where it works.
Wi-fi was very weak and spotty in room. Called front desk and they said they would reboot router but if that didi't work to call 1-888 tech number. Neither worked. Wi-fi was crap the two days I was there.
Plus, when and if did work the speed was less than old dial-up. Not useful when trying to send e-mails or even basic surfing
I really don't understand that in todays "connected world" hotels don't get the fact that internet access isn't a little add-on. It's kinda important.

This overnight stay was just great from check-in to check-out. We were upgraded to a suite although the hotel only has 3 suites. The rooms are very nice and new and are always kept impeccably clean and maintained. Dinner that night was outstanding:kudos to chef Michael for the spicy caribbean soup and lamb tikka. Breakfast was also great and service was outstanding. Staff really care at this hotel and everyone from front office to housekeepers to maintenance enquired as to our satisfaction with the facilities and service. Check-out was speedy and efficient. This hotel punches above its category 3 rating.

I stopped here on a road trip. The hotel is basically what you would expect from a four points. The lobby was very nice and the staff friendly and helpful, the room was cozy but the lamps looked old - which I thought was a missed opportunity in a 3 year old hotel. The bathroom was a sterile white, almost hospital- like save for 3 blue baskets under the sink. Not my preference, but functional. Given that I was only there for a few hours it was more than enough for my needs and I'll likely stay again on my return trip. It's seconds away from highway 401 and just outside of Toronto which positions it perfectly for a stop on the way through but I wouldn't recommend it for a vacation or extended stay.

It is almost like coming home when you come to this hotel. I was greeted by name and many of the staff were pleased to see my wife and I. All 5* ratings except room comfort and SPG recognition. The room comfort is a reflection of noisy air conditioner. The SPG recognition rating reflects the lack of upgrade or other benefit. I fully realise the situation at the hotel with only 3 suites available for upgrade. The Front Office Manager apologised for not being able to make any upgrade. Dinner on June 23rd was outstanding: kudos to Chef Michael. Great service at breakfast.

This is a fabulous hotel, clean rooms quite and newly furnished and well maintained.
One thing I like it’s a non smoking hotel.
