Rated 2 out of 5 by Nice hotel, but has the loudest ice machine I spent two nights there for business. The room was fine and the hotel was clean, however, the rooms don't seal off noise. The Ice machine was so loud in the hall that it woke me up several times. Considered moving rooms, but just wasn't worth the trouble. November 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by B Mac This hotel was quiet and very clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a mall close by. My only negative comment was that no Starpoints were awarded at check in. There was a free appetizer but since we did not eat at the hotel, we did not use the appetizer. I certainly would have preferred the points. November 10, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! We came to Charlotte for the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow. The hotel was fairly close to the Ballantyne Corporate Park where we took the shuttle to the golf course. There are restaurants close to the hotel also. When we arrived I noticed how clean everything looked and smelled! We were met with a smile at the desk and checked in quickly. The bar was so nice and so was the bartender. Breakfast was delicious and was well worth the $5. We will stay there again, but will ask for a room on an upper floor because our room was on the first floor and the window view was the parking lot. We slept great with no disturbances though. May 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fun Weekend Trip Came to the area to celebrate a birthday for a friend, by going to many of the local area attractions like Carowins. This hotels location was optimum for that. The theme park was literally 4 miles away. The area of the hotel busy but yet quite. The room met my expectations and looked exactly like the pictures on the website. The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The pool was amazing, very enjoyable. Though the hotel seemed full, the was a special peace that this place provided. It created an illusion of us being secluded on an island, it was that quite. Like we were there by ourselves. This location is really in the heart of everything thing great in Charlotte. I will return. July 14, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Goin' South Good location for eating and dining out. Easy on and off the interstates both northbound and southbound . They do need to acknowledge Gold + members---that was not done. Quiet area but when you have an adjoining room, the noise comes right through the doors between the rooms. October 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great value. Really like this place. Me and my girlfriend stayed here in July on a trip to Rock Hill, SC and loved it. So this August when we thought about where we would stay on the way back to Marietta, OH from Cocoa Beach we immediately decided to return to this location. Unfortunately we had to pay a little more this time than our first visit but it was still very reasonable given the condition of the hotel. I really liked the subtle fragrant smell of the place as you enter. The rooms were spacious, modern and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows and bedding were really nice. The Wifi was fast and the flat screen tv was enjoyable. Didn't use the pool but while it was small it looked very clean. Desk Staff were professional and friendly as were the breakfast staff, which brings me to the only knock on this place, the breakfast area, while beautifully furnished it is surprisingly small. The overall design of the hotel is beautiful but here I think the designer opted for form over function. And the breakfast itself is only slightly better than most free continental breakfasts that you would receive at most other places yet it costs $5 for adults and $3 for children. Fortunately the area around the hotel is very nice and provides a host of restaurants nearby, not to mention a beautiful shopping mall practically within walking distance of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. August 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth The Stay Found the overall ambience of this facility excellent. Rooms were clean and presentable. The front desk crew of Raven, Shannon and John were outstanding as well as Chelsea in the lounge. My wife and I have already decided that our next stay will be there. June 7, 2014
