Rated 1 out of 5 by Disapointing Stay Went away with spouse and felt so disappointed after staying here for the night. When you have a problem the hotel should care more about you as a guest. It would be nice if we could've enjoyed our room/hotel more without any problems. It really ruins your romantic night. : ( Pros: Newer rooms are great if cleaned right. In a nook is better than being in a main hallway in hotel. Location is great for casino people. Cons: Pool too stinky and smelly from chlorine. Hot tub was not hot-more like 80* Pool was freezing cold!! Room was not cleaned right. Had to switch rooms because furniture and carpet was stained and gross. Ihop -prices are high and service sucks. Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel exceeded our expectations I was expecting what I consider a certain quality of Sheraton properties as I have stayed at other Sheraton's including one in Niagara Falls previously. This Property wowed us from the parking attendant upon our arrival to the registration woman upon check in and continued throughout our 2 night stay. The facility was beautiful and very clean, the room was quiet and comfortable, food at I-hop was good for breakfast and Ruth Chris Steakhouse was fabulous from the service to the food to the décor! Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this property for any occasion. We will stay there again. December 10, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great rates - lousy service Good: Price with gift cards made it a hard deal to pass up, view was nice towards falls, local shuttle was very convenient Bad: rooms were very humid, if you ran the AC is made it cold and humid, Uncontrollable water temp - could not take a shower, had to use the bathtub -almost scalded kids first time Stayed 3 nights - last minute wanted to extend 1 more night, had rooms but wouldn't offer and comps TV wouldn't work on most channels, couldn't plug in hdmi device to tv Internet was horrible - doesn't work well with phones or tables Brought all the above issues up to staff, but no one documented it, so the manager said it wasn't their problem that we didn't raise these issues June 18, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by This hotel has a connecting bridge to Fallsview Casino We generally come to Niagara falls in the winter months to stay overnight because of the great deals offered by the hotels, including the casino slot play, and meal vouchers. However, this time we were disappointed with the service at East Side Marios. When we mentioned that we had the voucher, we were immediately informed that the main course must be a minimum cost of $17.99. If we do chose an appetizer less than $17.99 irrespectively we will be charged $17.99, Which we disagree and also there were no minimum price stipulated on the voucher. We were very disappointed with East Side Mario this time, because we generally like to dine here when in Niagara Falls. December 1, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Did not get any sleep The new location has it's pros and cons.pros, close to attractions.cons, very obstructed view of falls....When checking in,noone working spg desk,no recognition...was awoken around midnite to loud teenagers in hallway,I called front desk, replied they would send security.20 minutes later,it calmed down.About 15 minutes after that the teenagers set the fire alarm off and that blared for 2 hrs while they evacuated hotel..Asked for points back the following morning and was told they could not do that but would put 2000 back on..Totally ridiculous.rethinking my loyalty to Sheraton... Rated 2 out of 5 by Location is the saving grace of this hotel (June 25-27) Where shall I start? I stayed with my family on their first visit tour to Canada. Niagara Falls is a must on our visit tour. The experience at this hotel was far below my expectation and for the money that the hotel charged me for. There was NO upgrade to the room, hence no recognition for a Platinum guest. The room was filled with some kind of stink, which did not smell pleasant at all. The wi-fi internet connection was free, but it was very slow and very unreliable. When reflecting that to the hotel staff, they seemed that they could not care less. The IHOP restaurant must have been charging the guests with a 70-100% margin, as an omlette meal was nearly as 2X as you would pay at a regular restaurant, I booked the hotel on the "Birth Year" rate, and certainly, this was not reflected on my bill. I had spent quite a bit time at front desk to get this sorted, on a day when I was trying to get back to Toronto Airport for my next stop on our tour. So. if it were not for the location, we would not have stayed there, nor shall we again, even with the location. June 29, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Rooms Need Improvement If you are looking for a good location this hotel will work. Rooms are small and need some improvement. As a Plantinum Member I was not treated well. May 30, 2012
