Rated 4 out of 5 by Ok for Business Good Hotel if you are on business and need to travel Midtown. May 16, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good and Not So Good The proximity of this hotel to NYC is great - you can be in Mid-town in 30 minutes. However, the staff, even though they tried, just couldn't get things together the whole time I was there. I had reserved 2 tooms to be ajoined several months ago, and that didn't happen. The 7th floor terrace keypass didn't work most of the time, a room service order was missed (but rectified as soon as it was brought to the manager's attention). Everyone was nice and tried hard, but it looked disorganzied. May 13, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Under Radar Gem Looking for a hotel to lay your head and get a great view of the NYC city skyline without paying ridiculous NYC prices. This is then place . Simple not flashy but great value for dollar. Clean fairly new Dan easy access to city and booming lic and Williamsburg . May 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Manhattan convenience without the Manhattan price tag As others have written, I was a bit skeptical staying outside of Manhattan. However, this location is in a quiet, older mixed residential/light commercial neighborhood. The locals were friendly and the area was very quiet and safe, even when walking from the subway station well after midnight on each night of our stay. The rooms are small, but normal by NYC standards, and VERY comfortable. The bathroom was what I'd consider large. The NYC skyline view was great! Our only complaint was the lack of drawer space. The subway (and a great local diner) are only three blocks away, making the trip into Manhattan less than 20 minutes. March 21, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Had no idea what to expect I have never stayed in Long Island City before, and I was a little anxious about it. Luckly, I chose the right place, and it's actually a cool town, too. Brand new. Stayed right next to the patio that has a stunning panorama of the NYC skyline. The staff was great - had my room ready exactly when I needed it. So close to any line you need to jump on to get into the city. Had room service and loved it as well! February 21, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Great Rate and Location This hotel was great, located in a mixed neighborhood. Loved that you could park on the street around the hotel or only 3 blocks to the subway. Only disappointment was the room was not as clean as it could be. The front desk staff were great and very polite. April 30, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Extra charges. False accusations. No cooperation. I stayed here 4 nights in February while in NY for a business trip. When I returned home I noticed a $200 charge was added to my account for incidentals. The hotel claims that I smoked in my room, damaged a bed spread and brought a dog into the room. I do not smoke nor was I with a smoker in the room at any point. I do not own a dog nor would I ever bring one on a business trip. No explanation or proof of these accusations has been brought forth. Staff has been terribly unhelpful. Alan, the hotel manager offered to investigate with his staff and return my call the next day. It's been weeks, he refuses to return my phone calls and is completely avoiding the issue. Meanwhile the $200 charge still stands. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel. March 1, 2013
