Thank you for the extra care that you gave my friends and their five small children. On the weekend that they needed to stay you only had King Bedded rooms available, I asked for them to be connecting and knew that Valerie, the most wonderful Front Office Manager would do her best to make it happen. Sometimes over the phone you are sure the person you are talking with cares, I knew when I spoke with Valerie that she did.
My friends trip was last minute and stressful, an unexpected glitch caused the trip, but the result was they felt they had taken a mini vacation.
They said your breakfast was amazing, their day started off right.
Thank you so very much for making my friends feel at home on a stressful weekend.

Had received a fedex package during my stay and nobody informed me of this. I stopped by front desk twice after package was delivered (night before checkout and morning of checkout) and they still failed to tell me. No message was left on room phone either. Only after I had already left and was home I called to inquire about my e-receipt did they tell me they forgot to tell me about the package! Even worse I complained to the manager on the phone about this she asked for my number and said she'd find out what she could do for me---I have yet to get a call back. Very unprofessional. Only thing I liked about this stay was the restaurant. If you are SPG you should have better customer service than this.

Rated 5 out of 5 3rd Time is a Charm
This was my third stay at this property. Finally there was a great person at the desk, who acknowledged my platinum status and upgraded the room to a two room suite. She went above and beyond, and really made this my nicest stay at the property. As I am sure I will be in the Kazoo area many more times, and I glad they are starting to understand the SPG program!
The breakfast buffet is of average quality, but the staff is wonderful, coffee cup never goes lower than 1/2 a cup, and the cook came out and prepared a waffle with fresh blueberries in it for my mom! Nice touch.

Very nice public spaces; a great place for family reunions, weddings, etc. at a budget price.
Disappointing that my Platinum status wasn't recognized at check in - even had to ask for the check in amenity.
Room is very comfortable - but has some issues. The bathroom fan doesn't shut off and is on the medium loud range. The heating / cooling is also loud. It's the old wall unit type. The soap, conditioner, and shampoo are in dispensers - shampoo one didn't work. I am personally not a big fan of shared dispensers.
But even with the minor issues, it is a good value, as long as your expectations are in check.

Rated 4 out of 5 Nice stay in snow storm
Michigan is a wonderful winter wonder land....with lots of snow this year. So because of the winter storm I put my parents up at the 4 Points so they could enjoy my older nieces basketball game and celebrate the 8th birthday of my youngest niece in Kalamazoo.
This hotel always treats my parents great. 1st floor room, since my mom doesn't like elevators. Close to a door so my dad can watch the car.
While the food is so/so my parents really enjoy the breakfast buffet and the staff dote over them so all in all this place is great for them.
While I am use to much better SPG properties and treatment in this price range, it is an overall good value and it is SPG!

For the cost I thought the hotel was run down and dirty. The hallway had a bunch of trim missing, the bathroom was not exactly spotless and the TV reception was miserable. I expected more for a $150 room in Kalamazoo. I will not stay there again.

Decent internet speed. Fast enough to stream videos.
Food at the restaurant has consistently good quality.
Good selection of local beer.
Happy hours on Wednesday.
Great breakfast (includes large variety of fruits).
Good location that offers easy access to interstate.
Decent gym and swimming pool.
Spacious rooms and comfortable beds.

Rated 3 out of 5 Average Low End Hotel
I have stayed here many times now. It never seems to get better, just stays average. It is clean and in a good location, but other than that, nothing is outstanding.
SPG recognition doesn't seem to occur at this property. I had three rooms booked, NONE were ready on check in. It was pretty late in the day before two of the three were ready.....no consideration for order of cleaning to get the rooms ready for a SPG Platinum.
Breakfast buffet is of average quality.

While my hotel stay on the whole was average to good, I was blown away by the quality of the food service at this SPG property. My wife and I ordered room service breakfast on Saturday morning and were both very impressed by the quality of the food and presentation.

Overall this is a nice budget hotel. The rooms are nice, but the noise level can be high if the hotel is on the full size.
The food is of average quality at best, I wouldn't recommend eating here.
I had an issue of barking dogs on two stays now, the front desk was great and took care of it right away. However, I shouldn't have to deal with barking dog wile staying in a hotel.

Staff went above and beyond to make it a nice stay. Property is modest but very clean. Not many perks for Platinum members, but adequate, haven't been upgraded here yet - not even sure they have suites or not. Staying once more in a few days so I will post again. Breakfast buffet okay, but not many healthy options.

Overall a good stay, just not as good as my normal Sheraton sleeps. We were on the first floor, which had an overwhelming smell of the pool. The moisture made the hallway look like it was falling apart. The rooms themselves were great, and the staff was very personable and responsive. I used the workout room both days and the equipment was fully functional and clean. A good stay like I said, just not great like I am accustomed too with Sheraton.

The hotel is a nice budget priced property. The rooms are nice and clean. However, this is my 4th or 5th stay, and rarely do they recognize my SPG Platinum status. Very few cars in the parking lot, can't believe their wasn't a suite to upgrade me to.

Hotel overall wasn't bad-- however, I found a cigarette butt and Mountain Dew bottle in my room upon check-in, and these were not picked up for 3+ hours-- this is unacceptable.

If you're passing through on the highway or in town on a leisure visit, this hotel is perfectly fine, with a full-service restaurant and clean rooms/common areas. However, I cannot recommend this property for business travel due to very poor internet connectivity. During my 5 night stay I never had a full wi-fi signal and often noticed a stronger signal coming from the hotel next door. Multiple co-workers told me they will no longer stay at this location due to the same issue. Each had stayed on a different floor so the problem was not unique to my room.

I have become a bit of an SPG snob and this hotel wasn't as squeaky clean as I have come to love and expect when I travel. Everything was "OK," but not top notch. For example the elevators were not clean, and the drawer for the hair dryer was difficult to maneuver. Again, not horrible, but not up to the standards I've come to know an love with SPG & Sheraton experiences.

I travel a lot for work--including some pretty glamourous locations--but this hotel is really as good as any. It's not fancy but it has everything you need and exceptional service. The rooms are comfortable and it's great to have a decent restaurant. Close to downtown Kzoo, with more good food there.

We stayed on the first floor which smelled musty, We had a buffet breakfast ALL the dishes were dirty. I will say that again ALL the dishes were dirty. I mentioned that to an employee only took a few dishes back to wash off. Next the fruit was not fresh, it was old. At this point our family lost our appetite. The next night we stayed at the four points in Saginaw.

I choose this hotel because it was a part of the SPG program. My husband & I have stayed at other SPG hotels and were very impressed so I may have had my hopes set too high. The website shows this hotel having a pool but it ended up being under construction and we were told to use the pool at another hotel in walking distance. I felt uncomfortable with that arrangment. The web site should have indicated the pool would be under construction. Also the web site said the bar was opened untill 11pm, we checked in at 9:30pm & were told that the bar was closing. I mentioned the web site showed diffrent hours and they said corprate does the web site not them. The web site was very misleading and that was the only information I had to go on when choosing a hotel. I trusted this hotel would be as nice as the others and ended up disappointed.

We were checking in about 1 am and a woman was there trying to check in. She didn't have adequate identification. She was running from her dangerous husband and had a 4-year-old child in her arms. She was turned away by the front desk. I ended up funding her night stay. I understand this is a difficult situation for all but wondered if a better policy could have been followed.

We passed by this place for a night as a rest stop and did not expect much other than a bed. We had a sweetie on check in and our keys for the room were ready. I asked for a room in the high floor and they gave me what i asked for. The lady we got on check out was ok but could have been more friendly and it would not hurt her to smile. We did not try the food there but the place looked nice. The hotel smelled very nice. The only problem we had was in the room. Everything looked nice and clean until we got to bed. The sheets were filthy and had huge stains on it. So we removed it and slept without the dirty sheets. There is free parking which is always a plus.

Rated 3 out of 5 Okay stay with great in-room dining experience
The property overall is a pretty nice place. However, it is a bit high priced for a category 2, and for what you receive as an SPG member - limited acknowledgment. I have never been upgraded to a Jacuzzi room with probably a dozen or so stays here to date. I have noticed on the last couple of check-ins they have thanked me for being platinum - but I sense they still don't get the program and were just told to say that!
The breakfast buffet amenity is okay, the food is at best of average quality, but I did notice on this stay there seems to be a bit more of the fresh fruit to select from, and the staff were more attentive than I have observed in the past.
I also ordered the in room fresh pizza on this trip. It was excellent, given the quality of the breakfast buffet I was skeptical, but with the snow storm I didn't want to go out. I highly recommend their pizza!
The pool is decent size, however it is very noisy with the in room heating/cooling system.
The workout area is well equipped given the smaller size of this property.
Overall, it is a decent place to stay; just keep your expecations in check and you will have an average hotel stay.

I loved the room,very comfortable, the only thing I can complain about is the air conditioner. It worked great and the room was very comfortable but when it kicked on and ran it was very very loud. The staff was wonderful so helpful and attentive!

This was our second visit to Kalamazoo and we have stayed at this hotel both times. The staff are very friendly and work hard to ensure you have a good time at thier facility. The beds are fantastic and the food in the restaurant was delicious.
All in all, we would highly recommmend this hotel.

While I didn't have a lot of time actually at the hotel, the room was beautiful. The bed was nice and comfy, the room was quiet without the distractions of hallway activity, and the wake-up call was nice and accurate. I wish I would have had time to use the pool & I wish there had been a complimentary continental breakfast available (lesser quality inns have decent continental breakfasts included in the cost & felt that would have been a nice option to offer a guest). Thanks again! The clerk at check-in was wonderful!
