Rated 1 out of 5 by Memphis1 I almost never complain ...
This is not a good review. The air conditioners in the rooms are the loudest I've ever heard, and I've been in thousands of hotel rooms. After a long night of not sleeping, I went to the breakfast area and was yelled at by 3 seperate employees because I sat down in the room 5 minutes prior to when breakfst officially began. (I didn't do anything but sit down and watch the news on the TV) Then, when I started to get breakfast two other employees yelled at me and demanded ... get this, $1 for a glass of orange juice. I've had platinum status for many years and this was just a very negative experience. The only positive thing I can say is that they really had an outstanding gym.

While access is a little weird (you can't access the property directly from east bound Poplar, once you get there it's a nice property. It is an older hotel that was renovated within the past few years and is now in pretty good shape. The rooms and bathrooms are nicely appointed, as is the lobby. Service is good; they even provide cookies in the afternoon/evening and there's a happy hour with bbq and beer on Wednesday evenings. They offer breakfast for an extra charge (can get free with platinum)--it's not fancy but not bad. This is one of the nicer commercial areas in Memphis, with all kinds of restaurants and shopping nearby.

I stayed at this hotel ONLY b/c they had told me it was 9 miles from the FedEx Forum. So obviously I was traveling and going to a concert and would be drinking... so getting a hotel that was close by and I could taxi it home would be great. AND then I find out its 20 miles away and would be an $80 cab ride. One of us ended up staying sober and not being able to 100% enjoy our time b/c of this dishonesty from the hotel. Then the next day I asked to speak to the supervisor and he was "too busy". But the lady had said there was nothing she could do but to "please take a snack for the road from our store." PLEASE! Not happy at all. Would not recommend to think hotel staff can be truthful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Buffalo83 Nice hotel in Memphis
Stayed 6 nights in January. Very typical Four points hotel from layout to amenities. No suites, so no platinum upgrade.
Comfortable and clean, exactly what i expected from a Four Points. Good and safe location in germantown while not close to downtown, was close to restaurants and the highway.
Really good breakfast (not free, but worth it) and very impressive new and modern exercise room.

After a long day of driving we finally arrived to Four Point Sheraton Hotel looking forward to relaxing in our room. The hotel is flanked by two busy roads so all you hear is the cars rushing by. Our room was small with a small adjoining bathroom (which was dirty). There was no creamer with the in room coffee and the safe didn't work properly even after having maintenance "fix" the problem. Not impressed with staff during check in and check out. Why would you answer the phone when speaking with a guest? Poor manners and lack of professionalism. Cost of the room does not meet the basic requirements of a traveler.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Brad1000000 Recently renovated; nice Four Points
You can tell the hotel is older, but they did a pretty good job on its renovation. Some spots are rough: The elevator is original and is oddly warm, there are some unusual musty smells here and there, and the parking lot is pretty tight to manuever. On the other hand, the room was very nice for a Four Points, the location is very convenient to the interstate and to some of the best shopping and dining in Memphis, and they have a restaurant that offers breakfast. Platnum status gets limited benefits, though, as this is a Four Points. Try to stay on a Wednesday, when they offer a 5-7 happy hour with free bottles of local beer and a whole spread of local BBQ and appetizers. It wasn't as good as some Memphis BBQ joints, but it was nice to relax at the hotel and have some good food for free.

I travel to Memphis on a regular basis and have stayed at your location several times over the last few months. Your staff is GREAT! The only point I would bring up is that the facility maintenance does not always meet expectations. The carpet in room 309 is a disaster. It makes the room look travel worn. At times the public areas just aren't up to par in their cleanliness. I love your hotel and am VERY faithful you you all. I just thought I'd pass these comments along. Keep up the good work. Thank you!
