Stayed at the FP-S/Louisville on business recently. Very impressed by the staff throughout my stay. Room was well appointed, restaurant was good, service above average. Price was fair. Will consider staying here again.

I prepaid for my room In June,I checked in on 8/15/2014, before i checked out when i looked up my bank account i notice 3 different charges fpr $151.00.I addressed this matter with the Sales Manger and showed her my bank record she said that they only showed 2 pending transactions.She told me the charges would be deleted after i checked out.,I checked out 8/16/2014 before check out time.and today they have again took out another $50.00.I called back today and got the same answer that they; are showing only 2 in the amount of $51.00,I informed her that a total of $251.00 and their response was "call your bank" I told her that my bank taking out the money and that it was their company.So Monday morning i will call my bank to talk to them about this issue.But if i ever need another Hotel NEVER will it be Four Points by Sheraton in Louieville,Ky.

Not a good value for the price. They did offer free coffee and tea in the morning.
They also had some fruit that appeared to be weeks old that you could purchase for $1.00.
We had a one bedroom suite. The bedroom was well lit by windows but the living room area was extremely dark. There were 3 lamps but no overhead lighting. The bathroom was very small.
The restaurant and bar were only open for breakfast and dinner, Even the bar was not open during the day. The restaurant/bar opened late every day.
We won't be staying there again.

Upon checkin I asked if breakfast was included and ws told it was. This was not correct. A lot of street noise made sleeping difficult along with only had a shad and no curtains so couldn't darken room. The room did not have a refrigerator or microwave which would have been nice especially given the price. Walls were barren, the carpet looked like outdoor capreting. This was the 4th motel we stayed in this trip and the only one I would not recommend. The workout area was nice and the only plus.

All was great, except it would have been nice if there was a refrigerator in the room. Also the two times my husband went for coffee in the lobby the pot was empty.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were very comfortable in our room and appreciated the free wifi and daily water bottles. Good sized gym and indoor pool. We didn't eat in the restaurant at the hotel; we did eat locally at a few of the restaurants near Papa John's Stadium and Churchill Downs.

The hotel staff were nice, however, I had a to call from my personal phone to set up a wakeup call. I then asked the attendant to call back on the room phone to ensure it works, she said she would and if I didn't answer than she wrote down for us to be awaken by a knock at the door. I was in town for the PGA Championship and that knock never came; nor did she check to see if the phone worked. We then rushed down after waking up to my planned phone alarm ( a backup to plan) and tried to grab the 4 star breakfast from the restaurant. The food took a long time to get, they couldn't find menus and were not prepared in any way for us at 6:30 when the restaurant opens at 6am. The food was below average, my eggs tasted like the fake powder eggs. I went to the front desk to ask why we didn't get the knock on the door, she grabbed her book and said "sorry" it is written here but we didn't do it. They left a note on my dresser for $25 off food for us for that night. Having had a terrible breakfast in the morning, dinner there was not going to happen. Plus knowing that it was myself and my father that $25 would barely cover 1 meal. Beyond disappointed. The kicker was when I checked out the manager asked if we used the phone, since she fixed it and it works and did anyone tell you that it was fixed, Of Course they didn't. We didn't even bother with another wakeup call. Plus my inventive points were never added to my account. Again, Beyond Disappointed !

We were expecting an above average hotel experience, however it was not!!!
1. Noted trash in sofa bed.
2. Wall lamp needed repair
3. Tissue roller missing
4. Kleenex box empty
5. There were only 2 washcloths
6. There was only 1 bottle of H20
7. No coffee stirs and no plain sugar
8. Teens running in hallway
9. Lobby, hallway and ELAVATOR did not have air conditioning

Traveled with a big group of high school basketball players for a tournament. Was very impressed with this hotel. Great facility. Comfortable rooms. Especially impressed with the people, from the cleaning staff to the front desk - all were courteous and friendly. They did their jobs well.

Comfortable rooms- I loved the bed especially. One of the best hotel fitness facilities that I have experienced! Front desk staff was a little less than desirable- short and snippy on two separate occasions. My needs were addressed, though. Upon check in, I was told that my room may or may not be clean because the hotel was at capacity and they haven't cleaned all rooms. I was checking in well after check in time, expectation is that my room is clean. Otherwise, good experience.

I was a late traveler coming into this hotel. I was picked up by a woman named Wendy who also ran the kitchen. As we chatted in the van, she asked if I was hungry. I was starved! She urged me to get some food from the kitchen because she did not think the fast food next store would be fresh enough for me. So I ordered the philly steak and it was great. Great part is, the kitchen was closed and she went out of her way to feed me. Wendy is one of the most delightful people I have com across from SPG. Many people here could learn something from her.

We were here with the families of our 11U baseball team for a tournament. Your hotel was comfortable and clean. It was close to our diamonds. Your staff was polite and helpful.

The hotel and the staff are very attentive. I enjoyed the experience during my stay. I would have liked more of a selection at the buffet during breakfast. Other than that minor hick up i truly enjoyed my stay.

Like the size of rooms and bed was comfortable and clean. But --
Having a motion detector on the AC in a room that is meant for sleeping makes no sense. We had the temp set at 68 and constant fan, as we like to sleep with blankets on. Would wake up in a sweat with temp at 72 and fan not running. Soon as I got out of bed the fan would start working. This did not make for a comfortable sleep as I had to get out of bed multiple times.

We came in from out of town at 1am in the morning and apparently I set the wrong reservation date, so I would be having to pay for an additional night. I didn't mind paying for another night, but had some questions regarding the matter. I was given rude responses, and felt like he could care less about the situation. I left to stay elsewhere for the night. I wasn't going to give more of my money where I felt I wasn't wanted. I came back the following day for my original reservation and from then on the staff was alright. The room was comfortable and clean. I come to the city often from out of town. I usually stay with family but I decided on a room this time, but I don't think I would be staying here again, at least not at this location.

I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE YOU AWARE OF THE GREAT STAY, PRICE AND MOST OF ALL THE SERVICE WE RECEIVED. BEST SERVICE WE HAVE EVER HAD! RONNIE THE SHUTTLE BUS DRIVER WAS EXCELENT. WITHOUT HIS HELP IM NOT SURE WHAT WE WOULD OF DONE. WE STAYED 16TH & 17TH OF JUNE WOKE UP WITH A FLAT TIRE. WE FOR SOME REASON DIDN’T HAVE A SPARE OR THE EQUIPMENT TO TAKE CARE OF IT IN THE PARKING LOT OF THE HOTEL. HE CAME TO THE RESCUE HELPED FIND A JACK AND THE RIGHT TOOLS, SHUTTLED MY HUSBAND, MYSELF AND OUR THREE YOUNG CHILDREN TO THE NEAREST TIRE STORE. WHEN WE ARRIVED THERE AND LEARNED THEY WERE TOO BUSY HE WAS QUICK TO GET US HELP AT ANOTHER LOCATION. AS OUR CONVERSATION CONTINUED WITH RONNIE IN THE SHUTTLE AND HE LEARNED WE WERE PLANNING ON GOING TO KY KINGDOM THE NEXT DAY HE BROUGHT IT TO OUR ATTENTION HOW WE CAN BUY THE TICKETS AT THE FRONT DESK WITH A DISCOUNT. SAVED US MONEY! HE SET UP ARRANGEMENTS FOR US TO BE SHUTTLED TO THE PARK AND BACK TO THE HOTEL. I THINK HE GAVE US STAR SERVICE AND NEEDS TO BE RECONIZED IN SOME WAY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.

My stay at this wonderful property was very nice and very relaxing. I thought the best part of it all was there was plenty of parking, and the things I desired to see were very close. The pool was very nice, and I really also liked the free wifi in the room.

The location of the hotel is in a funky industrial area. The AC ran all night and very loud even after making adjustments. Staff was told about the issue and they were aware of the problem but had no solution. All I got was a sorry and a horrible nights sleep. Experiences like this will definitely affect my decision about staying at this location in the future. The room was ok, but the configuration was strange. The bedroom was quite small and separated from a large living room area that was not used.

Overall the hotel was okay. I am an SPG member and have been for a few years. I've stayed at all of the brands under Starwood and have found them to be quite nice. This property was not typical of the Starwood properties. It was pretty dated. The furniture was old. The carpet was not so clean and seemed like it was the original carpet from yesteryear. The rooms were very basic.
On a positive note, the lobby area was very nice and peaceful and the café was pretty cool. The location to the airport was perfect without the noise of the airport. Also, there were a few eateries within a few hundred yards so you don't need to drive anywhere for food.
Oh, it's also very close to Churchill Downs. So if you are ever in town for the Derby, then this could be a good place to stay.

I told the front desk, no room service wanted. But when I returned, they had serviced my room. I didn't see the light you are suppose to turn on for no room service. Also both days my room temperature was adjusted. WHAT! do not change my thermostat. I PAID for the room!!

I was extremely disappointed regarding my SPG experience in Louisville.
I had a guaranteed booking at Sheraton Louisville Riverside Resort. When I arrived I was told my guaranteed room was resold and I had to make my way to the Four Points which was 6 miles away. I was not compensated for the inconvenience and was charged for the more expensive hotel. I sent an email expressing my concern to the manager and to SPG and have received no response.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The amenities were great. Breakfast bar not so great. I think they need to have bagels or toast or something of that nature included in with the bar. But the staff was great and the very accomodating. We had a great stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

There was a small issue with the booking service I used. The staff informed me at check-in, and at check-out the next morning, everything was taken care of! Everyone was very friendly as well.

Hotel and staff are very nice. Plan on driving a few miles to Bardstown Road if you like night life, since everything around the hotel (which is not much) closes at 11:00PM.
