Everything is updated at this hotel. I had a clean contemporary room that was quiet. The internet and tv were also good. The breakfast service was below average. If you want the best breakfast experience I suggest you go as early in the morning as possible.

Rated 4 out of 5 by tanyamp Very comfortable, but unfortunate flooding! Very comfortable, but unfortunate flooding!
Everything was wonderful until my phone rang at 5:15 am and I woke up to 4 inches of water in my room. A water main broke and the lower floor flooded and we were evacuated to another hotel. They sent me across the street to a competitor hotel and it did not meet anything NEAR the standards of a Sheraton, hard beds, noisy rooms, too light in the room, etc. I was only disappointed they didn't move to another Sheraton property, that is what I paid for after all! I had an all day conference to attend and was SO TIRED and sore, I could barely stay awake all day, sad.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this Four Points hotel.
Tamara always does a wonderful job making sure that my room is on a great floor & that it is (feather free), due to my allergies.
I will always stay here, when I travel to San Antonio.

Nice facility and helpful staff. The only thing aggravating was the elevator. Door wouldn't close properly and it was very slow. Also made a clicking sound with every floor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by FraSa Hotel for spontaneous getaway
I like staying in Four Points Sheraton Hotels, mainly because the staff is always friendly and the hotels clean with a decent gym facility and pool.
I was not disappointed in the San Antonio airport location - all these main points were covered.
I only gave an average rating for the room comfort because one can hear every tinny noise from the hallway in the room. I woke up several times in the middle of the night due to noisy guest coming back from parties.

we checked in after midnight, and had informed staff of such, but our reservation was marked a no-show, and had to be retrieved, which took awhile. shower door was placed in the way of toilet, and there was a silicon wad placed on door, to keep it from breaking. poor design.
service extremely slow in AM for breakfast, and waiter explained to other patrons that food was still frozen and needed more time.
ordered huevos rancheros, and got a fried egg with a flour tortilla and a dab of salsa.
staff still new and inexperienced, but will give it time; they are very friendly and accommodating. hotel has only been open a few weeks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jbn64 Best Steak Ever
The restaurant is fantastic! I had the peppercorn filet, and it has to be the best steak I've ever eaten. My wife and daughter both had the ribeye, and those were very generous. My daughter's was slightly overlooked for her preference, but they cheerfully prepared a replacement exactly to her liking. The grilled vegetables that accompanied each steak were delicious and could stand by themselves! The hotel is clean, the staff friendly and cheerful, and the beds very comfortable. Despite being at the airport, I never heard any planes. What a great hotel! Thanks!

We visit San Antonio a couple times a year but this is just my first time staying here, I was blown away by this property.
The first thing that hit me was the limestone accents both inside and out. The lobby was spacious, the check-in was flawless. As a Gold member I was upgraded to a balcony room. The room was clean, nice sized and showed no signs of wear and tear. The bed was very comfy.
Free parking was plentiful.
Only issue some may have is noise from traffic, this was not an issue for us though. If you are a light sleeper you may want to ask for an odd numbered room. I look forward to staying here again.

The staff at this Hotel is as friendly as I have ever encountered. They helped us in anyway that they could, and we had two days of airport delays. If you are staying in San Antonio and near the airport this hotel should be your only consideration.

Rated 1 out of 5 by NeverAgain361 Over Booked and Rude Management
I made my reservations a few weeks in advance, and booked for a double queen suite with a pull out couch. After driving 3 hours to our hotel the front desk tell us that they overbooked the room and that they were going to put us in a King suite with a pull out couch, and give us a cot. When I talk to the manager about this she was rude and told us we were free to cancle our reservations if we would like. Being so far away from home we just delt with it. I still had to pay the same price for the room, and one of the people with us had to sleep uncomfortable. We will never use this hotel again.

I like this hotel but believe they need to pay attention to details and try to improve customer service. I woke up at 0430 hrs only to discover an empty bag of coffee. Called the front desk only to be told I had to get come down to get the coffee at the front desk. After dressing and getting to the front desk, the desk was unmanned with a sign that said they 'd be back shortly. After over 5 min, the desk clerk arrived and seemed rather nonchalant. I asked for the coffee and he had to find it. Could he have not brought it to me or at least had it sitting on the counter since he knew he was leaving the front desk. I had a very early morning and this delay costed me about 15-20 min of my time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by lgt23 Excellent hotel, great location, clean and great rooms
We loved this hotel and we are locals!
We stayed here as I am an SPG member, while our house was being remodeled. The rooms were clean and the beds were great. A family of four fits just right. The location is perfect and central The only reason I did not give it an overall rating of excellent was the breakfast buffet was lacking in service and food. You could not find a server, food and drinks not replenished and the selection was slim. Great coffee bar in the lobby. Otherwise, we enjoyed the pool and patio, the quiet rooms and perfect room temperature- a huge plus!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SLMM Thank You!
I was checked into a different Four Points the previous couple days. I was not able to extend my stay, so I moved to this hotel. From the moment I walked in Matthew was great. Friendly & professional. Matthew explained everything, acknowledged my SPG status, my welcome gift, parking, etc. Thank You Matthew. The room was great, upgraded & comfortable. What I was used to in a SPG property.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brook24 Great place to stay!!
This hotel was amazing! Great location for day trips and close to lots of stores. Our room was always clean and comfortable! The staff was very nice and helpful. The one thing that could use work is the restaurant downstairs. My family and I went down there for a birthday dinner for my little brother and even though we were the only ones there it took over 45 minutes for our food to arrive! My mom ordered chips and queso for the kids and it came AFTER our meals and the queso had obviously been sitting for awhile and we were given only a handful of chips.

I travel worldwide, but my favorite SPG property is this Four Points. I've stayed there at least a dozen times and never had a bad experience. The staff knows me and my family by sight and they are always friendly and efficient. I have a special place in my heart for Tamara and another young lady ( I don't want to butcher her name...Ieonu?) who are always happy to see me and my family. I recently received excellent service from Heather at the front desk as well. If you're in San Antonio, you can't go wrong here!

Everything was great, except the noise in the hallway. The room door was simply too thin and every footstep, whisper, or door slam from other rooms was completely audible. Also, it would have been nice if the bar stayed open later than 11. Otherwise, great value and happy to refer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Tx82 Poor housekeeping and front desk staff
This was the second time we stayed at this Four Points and again we were disappointed. Housekeeping again missed our room. We did not get the full service on one day (trash was not taken out...) and no service on the second day. They were in the room next door when we stepped out. This also happened to us in December. The front desk staff is also not customer service oriented. They do not seem interested in being there. We travel quite frequently and stay often at the Four Points Brand. We have never experienced such poor customer service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CA39 Staff below expectations
The Hotel itself was great. It was clean and well kept. The staff on the other hand was not what I expected. I had reservations for 2 nights. I was made to check out after the first night because I used points for that night and paid for the second night. Housekeeping made us get out early along with all of our things because they said we had to recheck in. When I told the person at the front desk, he just shrugged his shoulders and said he was sorry. I have never encountered such service at any SPG properties and I'm a Platinum member.

I am a frequent guest at this property. I prefer to use Starwood properties because I am on the road a lot. The staff makes me feel like I am home, regardless of the city I am in. From Iliena and Tamara at the front desk to Karla at the bar, I feel like a valued guest. This visit, however, my room was far below the standard set by Starwood. Each visit I have had the opportunity to have conversations with the front office manager, Heather, as I did this visit, but the cleanliness and attention to detail only got worse. PLEASE FIX IT!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Tjones16 Very disappointed
Upon my arrival the shuttle driver dropped me off and the wrong hotel, when I asked him if this was the correct drop off for the four points, he told me yes that it was all one stop, which I later discovered was a lie. After checking out, the front desk charged my room to my personal card rather than the business account, they then told me that I had to call and talk to my bank to sort out the issue. I then returned to the hotel to assure that I had something in writing that they would refund any charges that I received from my bank and they refused. Also their were almost no vegetarian options on their menu. I will likely ask my company to send me to another hotel if I do have to come back and business, I would never let anyone I know stay here for personal reasons.

room never cleaned before 4pm even though we notified front desk manager to have done..because of our sport we were in town to play. then not properly ... room never vacumed... crumbs left on tables. bathroom never reset. only two towels daily... yes we did request extra towels
breakfast was weak. only one person to get coffee and juice, clean tables get orders to go..take money and replinish buffet.
we felt so bad for the buffet lady had to help her... she was always pleasant

Rated 5 out of 5 by KathiTX1 Great Staff!
I was very impressed with the staff. I asked to check in early due to a work commitment, and they got me in a room 4 hours ahead of the regular check in time and told me they'd set me up for a late check out becuase I'd told them I'd be on-site with the wedding I was coordinating til around 2 AM. They could not have been nicer.
My only (mild) complaint was that the room never got really cold. I had the thermostat down to 74 and if felt like 80 in the room, so it was a little harder getting to sleep than I anticipated.

Stayed at 4 Points for second time in six weeks. Service was good on the first trip. This time it surpassed any five star hotel. Heather, the manager, is awesome!! Her staff is attentive and helpful and anticipates your needs.
Great pool for a little relaxation, nice quiet bar with a couple of local brews on tap, and just a nice place to stay. When in San Antonio, I will stay here again. widentifiable information, such as full ill

Rated 4 out of 5 by GC73 Thoughtful Design for Comfortable Stay
High praise should go to the designers who put real functionality into the work of designing the room and all of the materials used in it, down to the right sized coffee cups, the available electrical plugs built into the sides of the tables on side of the very comfortable king size bed. The climate control could have been explained better, since it was difficult to discover how to get the air-conditioning set lower -- an important point in Texas in May and the only reason that I did not give the comfort the full five stars. The staff was terrific, always cheerful and helpful. Its rather generic breakfast options (though better than many) prevented it from getting the overall excellent rating. On the other hand, within its group, it would have scored at the highest level.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Steve0319 A very comfortable hotel but...
The hotel was very comfortable and the staff very VERY accomodating! My only disappointment was the very lengthly wait for a simple club sandwich and the salad ordered by my friend on Friday night? My sandwich CERTAINLY was nothing impressive! Why did it take so long to throw together such a mediocre sandwich for $10??? I've had better in plastic wrap from a convenience store! Needless to say the next night we walked across the road to Applebees.
