Rated 4 out of 5 by GC73 Thoughtful Design for Comfortable Stay
High praise should go to the designers who put real functionality into the work of designing the room and all of the materials used in it, down to the right sized coffee cups, the available electrical plugs built into the sides of the tables on side of the very comfortable king size bed. The climate control could have been explained better, since it was difficult to discover how to get the air-conditioning set lower -- an important point in Texas in May and the only reason that I did not give the comfort the full five stars. The staff was terrific, always cheerful and helpful. Its rather generic breakfast options (though better than many) prevented it from getting the overall excellent rating. On the other hand, within its group, it would have scored at the highest level.

New hotel so decided to try. Clean, nice rooms, comfy beds, good location. However...
I work late, came in at night, wanted a snack & no front desk clerk. Waited & waited to pay. He finally showed up & I have NEVER had anyone be SO RUDE. My first call tomorrow will be to his boss.
First, the sign at the desk said be right back, you can use phone to contact guest services. So, seeing no other phone I used the one on the counter. When he walked up he said and And his comments are in quotes, "your not suppose to be back there", ok well the sign says use phone, his reply, "I forgot to put the phone for use up there". By now, I'm already irritated, but I'm very patient & always polite, so I said, I just need to pay for these items. "well, you'll need to pay cash or charge to,your room"..ok, not a problem. I also asked if i could purchase some milk, "nope, restaurant is closed".
I then asked to borrow his pen, picked up the card for the GM & asked for his name. I travel extensively, and believe me, there are MANY other choices. The hotel across the street, where we have always stayed in the past has far superior customer service and for me, that means everything. I pay for good service & expect it at every hour.
Also, I waited for at least 10 minutes to pay for the items I wanted to purchase, anyone could have walked into the front door & no one would have been there...this is a concern on other levels.
My advice to management when I call tomorrow, find someone who has an interest in customer service to work your front desk. My advice to travelers, pass unless customer service doesn't matter.

The staff and the room were great. But none of the cardio machines had working TVs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by daviator Great hotel but some service issues
This is a very pleasant place to stay, the rooms are comfortable and attractive and the staff is friendly. But although I'm SPG Gold, I was not offered the welcome amenity (points or a drink, generally) and didn't realize it until later. So I felt a bit ripped off, though I would not let that dissuade me from staying there again, I'm sure it was an accidental oversight.
One evening I went up to the hotel bar wanting to buy a glass of wine. There were several guests there, and they had drinks, so somebody must have been working there, but I stood at the bar for 15 minutes and no employee appeared. I finally got disgusted and gave up. So I was not happy with that aspect of my stay.
I had room service breakfast one day, and I felt that the food was a decent value (unusual for room service.) But it was supposed to include coffee, and instead they just bring a coffee cup and tell you to make your own coffee in the room. The in-room coffee is weak and mediocre, and I felt ripped off here, too — if I'd known that choosing coffee would only give me the use of a ceramic mug to enjoy the coffee I already had, I'd have ordered juice instead.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Tx82 Poor housekeeping and front desk staff
This was the second time we stayed at this Four Points and again we were disappointed. Housekeeping again missed our room. We did not get the full service on one day (trash was not taken out...) and no service on the second day. They were in the room next door when we stepped out. This also happened to us in December. The front desk staff is also not customer service oriented. They do not seem interested in being there. We travel quite frequently and stay often at the Four Points Brand. We have never experienced such poor customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 My Stay was Wonderful!
I always enjoy coming to this hotel. I am allergic to feathers and William always kind enough to adjust my pillows and take the down comforter off of my bed.
