You get what you paid for... close to the airport, but area not so good. Staff are okay, not super friendly, just a person check you in and out. Nothing special. No upgrades for platinum member. Inexpensive hotel, for a few night stay is okay. Bathroom need to be clean, kinda smells funny.. Not super clean.
Room is kinda dark. Overall is okay. Not fancy.

Stayed at this hotel for almost 2 week. Friendly staff, very clean rooms and bathroom. The only reason I gave a 4 star for room comfort was the fact that you can hear the sound of cars driving on interstate 45 since it's so close. It didn't really bother me much though. And the black out curtains are wonderful. Overall great experience for me.

Quick checkin, however we were not recognized as SPG Gold member, not offered or given a complimentary upgrade when asked, all we were told was there wasn't an upgrade for a double. There was no coffee in the room. We were not even given a room on the SPG floor, We were on the first floor next to the exit door which was noisy.

As a typical but benevolent business traveler, this hotel offers the amenities one would expect at much higher prices (elsewhere), rooms are amply sized, and sure wish I could find pillows as comfy as here! The in house restaurant/bar is especially convenient after a long day's work. Staff is top notch too.

From the moment we walked in and were greeted by Lorali(sp?) at 10 PM to the check out by her again at 11:30 AM the next day it was enjoyable. The upgrade to a suite because of the thoughtfulness of her for our quiet sleep. That is a lady that needs to be valued as part of your team.

The hotel rooms are fine and better than most.. I was a regular but the last three weeks have caused me to no longer wish to stay in any Sheratons ever again. The first week loved the room I stayed for two days. The next week I had reserved the same room for the next week. They did not have the room for me and after giving me one story and my talking to the one that did the reservation for me found out that the guest on Sunday stayed over and they would not make him get out so I had to go to the fourth floor with a room not the same. They had to make the other room like the one the week before and they did

We stayed here before leaving on a cruise out of Galveston. The room was great and everyone was very friendly. They did not have a club floor for SPG members, but I would definately stay here again.

I went to Houston on a business trip. The 4 point Hoppy Airport is located very close to Hobby Airport . The bed very comfortable and room are pretty big. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room and the stay were both good. The staff was friendly and the stay uneventful. We stayed in May with aeroplan rewards and then four months later in September we were charged for our complete stay on the Visa number we had left for meal charges, etc. I called and emailed numerous times and was passed on to a different answering machine. No one cared to help, very disappointing to have to pay for it first with aeroplan miles and then again in cash.

I arrived to this hotel at 1:00 AM, after being stranded at the airport. The shuttle driver was very cooperative, and the Front desk clerk was very friendly and welcoming despite the time of the night. The hotel and their staff exceeded my expectations

Worst cheap hotel ever
Property is in decline, dirty halls, dirty rooms, room furniture is broken and in some rooms chest are missing lamps are with out bulbs, staffs is the worst they have no idea of anything, they forgot twice to do my room, room is noisy, lots of noise at night. I complained about it and they came back to bite me saying that I was the one making the noise. Manager barely speaks English and was incompetent to give answers about this property in decay. Would never ever stay there again.

The hotel felt new and updated. Staff was very pleasant and accomodating. Interior design attempted to be contemporary/chic, but felt a bit minimalist and sparce. My room was quite noisy as it was next to the freeway. Food/bev was my biggest issue. $9.50 for a bottle of Sam Adams? And the club sandwich I ordered was thrown together with little substance between the oily grilled bread. Discussed with the MOD and nothing was done. I'll choose another hotel next time.

I travel alot ,so I stay here because it is close to Hobby Airport..there was alot going on with the evacuations of Hurricane Issac and many pets and weird guests staying there. I was upgraded to a suite as a gold member and far away away from that circus..but that is not the hotel's fault.
I have stayed here before and the service and staff is always very good. The rooms are clean and comfy.
I will continue to stay there when I travel to Texas for work.

Location: Terrible (In an undesirable part of town, near Hobby Airport)
Check in: Upon arrival, the Sales Manager checked me in and sent me to a room that was not yet cleaned but for compensation, she upgraded my room to a suite.
Bed linen wasn't clean in the new room although the room had been cleaned. When I saw a housekeeper's cart in the hallway, I took sheets, pillow cases, and towels and changed the bed linen myself.

I think that getting a room near Hobby means that you're not going to be in a fantastic neighborhood. My partner and I took an evening walk to the closest grocery store (Walmart) to get some fresh fruit. The clerk had said it was about a mile away. It was actually 5 miles, but that was okay because we'd been sitting in the car all day. While I'm sure she was glad that she wasn't out by herself, it was probably reasonable to have a male presence on the walk. While we never feared for our safety or property while on the walk or at the hotel, the hotel is mostly surrounded by very loud roads with unkempt sidewalks. We had the hotel shuttle pick us up because we weren't really planning on walking a half marathon that evening.
Obviously, if your priorities are flying in and out of Hobby, it's a great location, and our room on the back of the hotel was plenty quiet.

While the hotel staff was great the accommodations and F&B did not meet expectations. Housekeeping needs to pay attention to vacuuming as there were remnants from prior gusts in the carpeting. While the onsite restaurant workers are great and try very hard, the food needs improvement in ingredients and presentation. I would avoid any room facing the highway as they do not keep most of the traffic sounds out.

The staff went out of their way to make our visit perfect! Check in and check out went very smoothly. Even when we arrived an hour early, we were able to check in. The cheeseburger ordered through room service was tasty, and the French fries were hot and crispy. Breakfast next day in the restaurant was cooked to order and great. The waitress was all smiles and went out of her way to make our breakfast experience positive. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but some details like scratches, torn picture frames, and a carpet stain need to be attended to. Overall my stay went very well and would recommend this property in the Hobby Airport area.

Just wanted to say, I traveled to Houston, for Labor Day weekend, and from the time we arrived, until the time we left, the staff was Excellent, and customer service was Superburb!
This was my first stay with Four Points by Sheraton, but I will definately be back, and it will be my hotel of choice when arriving in Houston!

We were kept up by the TV in the room next to us. At 5:30 the next morning, that same TV woke us up WAY before we planned to get up. Try to get a room with no one on either side!

Let me start by saying I am an SPG Platinum member. I have become accustomed to only the best service and treatment at all SPG propoties. That said, I had THE worst stay of my entire life at The Four Points Hobby Airport! The staff was extremely disrespectful, argumentative, Had no experience in the hospitality industry whatsoever. Also made it very clear the the hotel was privately owned, and that my SPG status meant nothing! Did not know the difference between a charge and an authorization on a credit/debit card. They attempted on several occasions to over charge my card by hundreds of dollars. When confronted about the charges they first refused to refund my money. Then later put the money back on my card without as much as a sorry. I had several staff members bold face lie to me. And was forced to cut my vacation short due to my wife becoming extremely upset with the situation. All the way to the point of tears,

I realize this is an airport hotel, so I wasn't expecting true luxury for the one night I had to stay here. First warning: the area is VERY sketchy. Do not expect to be able to go outside on foot. My driver was a former cop in the area and told me it was a pretty bad area, which was fine with me since there is a restaurant downstairs. Second: you can tell people have smoked in the bedrooms. It was really bad in the bathroom for some reason. Third warning: it smelled like rancid hot trash when I woke up in the morning and the smell was drifting into my room to greet me. Fourth warning: my breakfast, which I ordered through room service, was cold. I paid $18 for cold eggs, sausage and toast. I really don't recommend this place to anyone. And to tell you the truth, I can't believe I paid to stay here. On a good note, the woman that checked me in was nice and the shuttle driver was a riot! Great service, horrible product.

I usually stay at this hotel if I have an early flight out of Hobby the following morning. Yes, it's not the in greatest part of town but certainly beats the AM traffic to the airport. It's a 4 Points so dont suspect a glamourous lobby but solid and reasonable breakfast and the rooms are spotless, plus free parking and internet. A very good value in Houston.

Upon my arrival, I was greeted by the ladies at the front desk with smiles on their faces. I admit I was a little late with my check-in but the Manager took care of me and actually gave me a better deal. Through my stay, they were very helpful. I will definitely stay here in the future. I kept my Moms 80th Birthday Party and everything was great. The sales director at the hotel did an awesome job working with me and coordinated everything for the event, the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. My mom had the best 80th and I want to thank you for making it happen for her.

This hotel is very nice. The rooms are great and very comfortable. The only bad thing is the eye sore hotel next door. Makes the neighborhood seem not so good so I hope other possible guests don't let that deter them from staying because the hotel itself was wonderful. Great easy location.

Close to airport
Free airport shuttle
All my expectations were exceeded. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Stayed at this hotel post-cruise and it outweighed the premium pre-cruise hotel with the exception of a view.
