On the whole, this is a really nice hotel. Our room was nice and big, well-lit with big windows, clean and comfortable, though the decoration was a tad spartan. Kenny, from the Front Desk, was warm and very helpful, though many of the other Front Desk staff could use a lot more training. Fadzil, from Concierge, was knowledgeable and helpful in his recommendations. The food in the only restaurant, The Eatery, was better than decent. The Nasi Goreng, was perhaps one of the best I have tasted in any Starwood hotel in Malaysia, and prompted me to give a Platinum Thank You card to the chef who made it. The hotel is rather isolated in its location, but it is close to most of Langkawi's attractions, which are a short taxi ride away, in the north-east of the island. We really enjoyed both our stays at the Four Points this June.

I spent in this hotel five horrible days.
The staff, including the manager,he's local, poor understanding of English.
Restaurant offer disgusting food, like a cheap diner, they have only just five dishes to choose from. The menu doesn't change and is always the same five dishes.The hotel location is terrible, there is no place to go at all! Sea is not possible for swim, because of the mud and slime at the shore!
The most of hotel staff absolutely helpless.
In general, I strongly don't recommend this hotel, if you don't want to spoil your vacation.
And the guys from SPG,must think about change the manager of this hotel!

Rated 1 out of 5 by adiarifin Disaster Hotel to stay.
Did not recognized SPG Plat member well. Food is terrible. Restaurant full of flies. No room service at night. Have to wait long time for services.Staff are not well trained including the higher management. Problem solving at ZERO level. It was a total disaster hotel to stay with.

We had been upgraded to a Suite as a Recognition of SPG Elite Member which was nice. The suite is big but feel a bit empty due to lack of decoration. Same to the hotel area, everything is big with large space but you will feel it was empty as not many decoration put in place.

Recently stayed here for two nights. Being a 4 points hotel, all I expected was basic amenities, clean rooms and friendly staff.
The biggest disappointment was that the rooms, especially the bathrooms were not clean at all. (despite the property being just one month old when we stayed). This seemed to be a common theme since I noticed at least 2 other guests complaining the same. they were hopelessly understaffed and staff were inexperienced and one had to walk to reception even to ask for water because they were so busy (literally) that they could not pick up calls.

Das Hotel wird zwar als Resort angeboten, hat aber eher einen Motel Baustiel. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig geschnitten, Bad mit separater Dusche und Badewanne. Der Pool wird teilweise von morgens bis abends gereinigt was ziemlich nervig ist. Das Personal hat keinen Servicegedanken, Lieber wartet man im kühlen Restorant , bevor man die Gäste am Pool mit Getränken versorgt... Service ist hier auf einem sehr unterdurchschnittlichen Grad.

Three of my friends and myself were here in Langkawi to celebrate a friends 40th bday. We were totally disappointed with the staff, the dining, the rooms and overall hotel in general.
We had our room changed 3 times, the cleanliness of the room was average.
The hotel in general lacked ambiance and staff at reception were absolutely unhelpful, would never recommend this hotel.

No greetings at lobby. No concierge services available. Room condition is worst, dirty tiles, flies & mosquitos around, re-used sandals, broken shower head hook, basic toiletries provided only.
Lounge, lobby and restaurant experiences were totally not acceptable. Not the Sheraton standard I used to know. Terrible experience!
