I have stayed before but this time was not so pleased. The rooms seemed very old, had a musty odor to them. The bathroom floors were stained and the grout very old and dirty. We paid a lot of money for these rooms and expected more. The restaurant food was poor. The hamburgers and pork tenderloins had to be frozen patties. The staff told us to sit anywhere and we literally had to pull our own tables together. Since we had 7 people. That is unacceptable. The restaurant staff should at least prepare the table for you. It just seems to need a facelift badly.

Have stayed multiple times in the past. Is usually average, not spectacular. Decent room. What typically brings us here is the suites with the pullout sofa and the separate areas. We are a family of 5 (2ad, 2kid, 1inf). We keep the baby with us and the 2kiddos get the pullout. Works well usually. This time, I reserved a King + double sofa bed. On arrival we were given the "Hospitality Suite" which sounds nice until I reached the room and instead of the double sofabed pullout, there was an 8-person conference table. Not going to work. So, back to the front and the only available room was a double. For my family of 5. And it was the tiniest room in the hotel. There was a sink outside the bathroom with one of those openings in the wall that looked out into the room b/c otherwise your claustrophobia would have doubled.

We had a balcony with chairs for a refreshing view of outside. We were provided with complimentary water. And the indoor pool was the center focus, rather than being in a separate room. It gave the place a garden/oasis atmosphere.

Loved the facility, the staff was awesome and overall a great place to stay. The restaurant and bar were fine also. It was the food served for the "convention" that was very lacking. Burnt cookies, overcooked very dry chicken, brownies that were not moist and I pretty well could go on and on. The wraps served for lunch were awesome and the fruit was always good as was the bacon for breakfast. The rest, not so good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Michhawk Hotel room was fine - wifi did not work. Again
Stayed at this hotel last year room on floor 3 wifi was intermittent at best. Numerous calls to front desk they seemed to think rebooting the wifi was the answer. Go to atrium get service.
Stay last night I requested room not of floor three due to no wifi last stay. Got room 108. No wifi networks would show on my iPad. My daughters iPad would show one of the networks but not alliw her to choose. I called front desk. Guess what rebooting the wifi. Nothing changed.
I stayed at 6 hotels on my trip the last 10 days. No problem getting wifi. Last day of hotel stay at yours get nothing. Doubt I will stay again, won't suggest hotel either since everyone wants wifi that works.

I've never had a room that included ear plugs. I thought, "How nice!". I'm a great sleeper, so didn't think I'd need them. Until, of course, the AC kicked in. Basically it sounded like someone would hit it with a baseball bat to get it running, and then it ran pretty loudly. Ahhh, hence the ear plugs. They did help, but man, just as you're drifting off to sleep, enduring the whole baseball bat routine is not conducive to peaceful slumber.
Fortunately, after a harried night, the omelet station rocked.

We had a room with two double beds. The one my husband and I slept on was clearly severly worn/broken. You could not tell just to look at it, but as soon as you sat or tried laying down the enter bed caved to the center. This was the most miserable night of my life. If my children had not already gone to sleep in the other bed, I would have asked to be moved to a different room as the hotel had very few guests on this particular night. I stopped by the front desk to address the bed issue with the young lady on duty. She simply said "I'm sorry" and went back to doing her other duties. Wow, one bad experience is understandable. However, the lack of concern expressed by this employee was unbelievable! Unfortunate, as I am generally a very understanding person and everything else about the hotel was very satisfying. I don't think I will book here again.
