Rated 3 out of 5 by In room air conditioner has issues, great breakfast I've never had a room that included ear plugs. I thought, "How nice!". I'm a great sleeper, so didn't think I'd need them. Until, of course, the AC kicked in. Basically it sounded like someone would hit it with a baseball bat to get it running, and then it ran pretty loudly. Ahhh, hence the ear plugs. They did help, but man, just as you're drifting off to sleep, enduring the whole baseball bat routine is not conducive to peaceful slumber. Fortunately, after a harried night, the omelet station rocked. July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Weekend Stay We recently stayed at the Four Points in West Lafayette for the 5th time in the past year. we always stay there given the location, the overall wonderful condition of the hotel, the sleeping comfort and the friendly staff. Also, as an SPG member, the benefits accorded are excellent. The hotel continues to be our first choice in lodging when visiting the area. July 17, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Dated The hotel staff was excellent, the breakfast omlettes by the indoor pool were fabulous, but the hotel itself was extremly dated and worn. Needs heavy updating. July 16, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Needs updating The staff were friendly. But the whole hotel needs an update. There is peeling paint and spots in our bathroom that looked dirty becasue all of the paint, varnish, etc had rubbed away. Our room was not cleaned one day and got only an apology from the the front desk not an offer to have the room cleaned then or an adjustment to our bill. We won't be staying again. July 14, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice Hotel but needs updating. we had a pleasant stay but there needs to be some updating. It appears to be a hotel from the 70's or 80's that they have started updating. Will be a nice family hotel if they continue. Only a couple of the ice makers were in operating order in the whole hotel. Staff was extremely friendly, very accommodating and very helpful. Both pools were very nice and lots of room for our team get together in the atrium. July 13, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice location The hotel is not in the greatest shape. If a person has business at Purdue the location is very good. It is particularly nice that the exercise room is open 24/7. However I wasn't able to get the TV to work on the elliptical machine even though I asked for help at the front desk. I will probably stay at this hotel again because of the location. July 9, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice atmosphere; rooms need attention Really liked the courtyard and the games and pools. Gave my kids something to do other than sit in the room and watch tv. However, the room was sad. The two beds were small. Usually hotel rooms have two beds then another chair to sit on. No chair; just two beds and a desk. The room lacked homey feel. A refrigerator in the room would have been nice; we were in town for a weekend swim meet and we couldn't keep our Gatorade or water cold. Or any breakfast food, since the restaurant did not open in time to eat before leaving for the swim meet. I would say the hotel was not swim meet friendly. It was clean, the staff was nice but I would not recommend it. It did not meet our needs. June 30, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Wonderful staff! We had to leave our original hotel due to unacceptable conditions, but Jason arranged a room for us and made us feel very welcome. His attentiveness was much appreciated. July 9, 2014
