Rated 3 out of 5 by GRP1921 A little far from "downtown"
The hotel is under renovation, but for those floors that are already complete things are nice. The hotel is a fairly "healthy" walk to downtown Seattle, though it's not too bad if you decide to take the tram. If you're in town for the Seahawks, you might consider being closer to downtown or the stadium, if you're not interested in a 30-40 minute walk.

My friend and I stayed at this facility for 2 nights. The staff was relatively friendly. However I became upset when I gave the girl at the front desk my debit card for "$50 incidentals", they ended up putting the whole entire stay - $500+ - on my debit card! This really left me strapped for cash my entire trip - which is unacceptable, especially when you are on vacation and need money. I had to have my friend that I was staying with loan me cash; which was embarrassing. I just wish that the girl who checked me in would have been clearer on exactly WHAT was going on my card when I checked in. I don't own credit cards - just one debit card, if I would have known, I would have waited for my friend, who owns a credit card. The man at the front desk was apologetic, but unfortunately there was nothing they could do to reverse the charge unless they called my bank - I was on vacation for two days, I don't have time for that!! The room was okay. A little awkward...no mini fridge in the room and also no second mirror in the room outside the bathroom. I'm not usually one to write poor reviews, but I was really taken aback at the lack of good customer service that I expect from the Sheraton name. Next time I'm in Seattle, I'm going somewhere else.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ama41 Someone charged my credit card a year after I stayed.
I stayed here in November of 2011 for pleasure. The location was great and walking distance to a lot of downtown attractions. it was under renovation when we were there, but it was not bother-some. I would have rated this higher, but in October 2012, my credit card was charged from the hotel. It was a HUGE hassle to get them to refund my card. Apparently someone with the same last name as me stayed there and my credit card was used. I am very unhappy about the customer service with no one returning my calls in a timely manner with people telling me I would receive a call back after taking my information and was not contacted. I then contacted corporate and they had to redirect me back to the property and they have 5 DAYS to contact me back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by travelguy SPG inexpensive option
If you are on a budget (either points or cash) this hote is an OK option. It's in an "up and coming area" an SEA friend say-which I had no idea what that meant. It means the area is a bit sketchy but has 50+ Million dollar condo complexes 1 block away. BOOK IT-I felt safe at all hour of the night. And it is about a 10min walk to the Space Needle--where you can grab the SEA Monorail and be in the middle of downtown SEA in under 5min. It will save you massive points (and likely cash) to stay here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Xiaolei Best 4P hotel in US
I have stayed more than 100 nights last year, and the Seattle Four Points Downtown must be the best four point hotel I have ever stayed within US.The room is very clean and tidy, maybe due to recent renovation. The response to room service and other request is very prompt. Location is excellent to major attractions(EMP,Space needle, pacific science center).

Rated 5 out of 5 by HappySPG2013 Great place to stay in downtown Seattle!
We only stayed one night; however, when we checked in Katie was pleasant and greeted us with a smile. She noticed we had young children and offered us an upgrade to a larger room. When we saw our room, we noticed that it wasn't the right fit for us. I called for Katie and she offered us another room. It met our needs and we had a great time at the local attractions just minutes away. The food in the area and the QFC market was very convenient.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Memos Our room was very comfortable
This hotel was quite busy when we arrived. We were treated very friendly even though they were busy. Our room was prepared feather free as requested and was ready for us. The one problem we had was breakfast...not cooked as ordered, had to wait until our food was no longer hot for toast. We would not be prone to have our breakfast here. This would not keep us from returning.

Rated 1 out of 5 by tsvina009 Chose Four Points for business trip with family- BAD mistake
Staff retaliated to call to service desk prior to our arrival to arrange for cot by putting us in the worst possible room over Mercer and stonewalling all subsequent requests. SPG recognition- someone should mention that to the incompetent staff at the front desk and on the phone. I will never stay here again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Chuck001 A disappointment
I will not stay at this facility again. It doesn't come near the service of other Starwood properties I've stayed at. . The room was like a shoebox, I was not given an upgrade, (I asked for 4 days) I called SPG Customer service and asked to be placed a another Starwood property anywhere in the area. Nothing was available. I have a screen print of the Features and activities page which stated self serve parking was available - no mention of a charge, or I would not have booked this hotel. Upon arriving the desk clerk who was very cordial said parking was available, drive down a ramp to the right, of the lobby entrance and use your room key at the scanner (no mention of a charge for parking). Then after the 4th or fifth day I tried to access the garage, the rolldown gate would not open, I sat there with five cars lined up in back of me, and one car that was locked, in the garage, for almost an hour. The occupants stated they would miss an appointment. I also asked for a checkout extension, was only given it when I reminded them of the garage mishap. Then as I'm checking out I am told the only charge on my Starwood American Express card was the parking fee, (The Ultimate slap in the face). I plan on disputing the parking charge with American Express, as soon as my statement arrives.

Rated 1 out of 5 by unhappyguest Worst hotel I've ever stayed at
I had a really bad visit staying at this hotel last month. I remember it like it was yesterday.
The front desk staff didn't make me feel welcome at all. Seemed like all they wanted was my money (this hotel is way over priced!) They didn't suggest any activities to do in the city while I was there, or tell me any benefits of staying at the hotel, for example, free wifi, breakfast for a buck or the fitness center.
There was a city pass for $69 which I didn't know about until after I visited the space needle and EMP. And when I asked the front counter if there was any good sports bars around to watch the UFC fights that night, he had to Google it!
Another thing that bothered me was that there was no mini fridge in my room, the heater was inconsistent and I had to get out of bed numerous times to get the right temperature going, the TV remote was dirty, and I had noisy neighbors both above my room and across my room, which kept me up until 2:30am!
The only good thing about Four Points was the bed. That's why they're getting a one star rating. I've been telling all my friends and family how dissatisfying my stay was and I will never stay at one of your hotels again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by edmarl Nice Facility
Overall the facility was very good. We were attending a evening concert and the venue was a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
The only recommendation I would have is to contact guest 2 days ahead of their arrival that there is road construction and that the hotel provide good alternate routes. Being that my wife and I were arriving by car from out of the Seattle area. we spent an additional half hour trying to reach the hotel that we could see but not access.
