Rated 3 out of 5 by Oliver37YVR Thanks for making it Right though
My family and i have stayed in this hotel many times with no issues.
Some minor issues with just the room, We checked in late night of and fell asleep quickly after a long road trip, only to sweating in our sleep, thats when we realized that the air conditioner was not running constantly and stops intermittently. (although we set it to run to run constantly )
Bed side Bulb was burnt out and there was no place to hang our towel in the bathroom.
I called the front Desk and requested a new room, and Marissa did so really quickly . We moved into the new room and fell alsleep like a baby again. Just something i noticed this time, there is only just 1 bottled water instead of 2 now..... the air conditioner will stop intermittently in just about every room?? Hope all these not a cost cutting measure because it will affect the quality of stay and we felt it this time.

This hotel is aged, bed sheets were torn and mattress pad had hairs stuck to it that were not mine. Not worth the price. Carpet in hallways is stained and dusty. Restaurant is a bit of a walk (down a corridor and outside) from the hotel, and would only accept a room number for billing if I paid an additional $2 fee. Restaurant coffee seemed to have soap in it. Other than the nice dispensers in the shower, this was like staying in a cheap roadside motel.

This hotel is in Gresham, not Portland. Many miles from PDX and on a busy road. If you get a room facing that road (as we did) you will not get a good nights sleep. Lots of noise from the hallway as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by superflychick77 DIRTY ROOM, JACUZZI WAS GROSS!!!
YES my worst nightmare I FOUND A LIVE BUG IN MY BED!!!!!! In my room I found dirty floors, finger prints on mirrors the t.v. NO FREE BREAKFAST staff was not welcoming at all. In fact the person who checked my husband and I in took forever because of some glitch in the system he said when clearly he had not done anything but look at the screen. I am a tall woman and could see the computer keyboard very clear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KelleeB Love this hotel and staff!!
I came to the hotel with my husband for a night away from the kids on Valentine's Day and had a great stay! They staff was so nice and helpful with anything I needed. Pool and hot tub were nice and relaxing. Food at the restaurant was great and they even gave us a late check out! Also this is a very clean hotel!

If you are traveling by car a fine value for a roadside hotel. If you have a drop off at a terminal based PDX car rental station, yes as well. Not recommended if your rental is off site at airport. With hand baggage for an early flight with in terminal drop off, door to check-in desk was 20 minutes.
Rooms at this hotel are standard for the brand although shower pressure was good. Staff was proficient at odd hours. Platinum recognition was a larger room, but facing the street and east (although we left before sunrise) where a companion room booked on same stay was away from road. !?!?!
Overall good value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by J229 Solid hotel for a stopover in Portland (if you have a rental car)
I had essentially a 1-day stopover in Portland, and getting in early in the AM, I mainly needed somewhere reasonably close to the airport and a nice comfy bed. This hotel fulfilled both those criteria. While not next to the airport by any means compared to some of the well-located airport hotels, this was an easy drive in the rental car, less than 10 miles. Nothing special about the area it's in, however.
A nice benefit of the hotel being in the East direction of Portland was that since I wanted to see Crowne Point and Multnomah Falls that day, I felt like I was already more than halfway there than if I was staying in downtown Portland or somewhere West. Scored a cheap deal on a rental car so worked well for its location.
While not winning any awards for most beautiful rooms by any stretch (scary deadbolt scenario and dated wooden decor), the hotel served my short purpose well and was as expected when booking a lower tier hotel.
Lastly, the staff at the desk was extremely helpful at getting me checked in so I could get to sleep after my night of flying, and was very helpful in providing procured easy maps detailing highlights to see along my direction of travel, and other information. Even though I use tripadvisor and gps via google maps, this local info was very helpful when trying to move quickly and make the most of a 1-day sight seeing cram! Thank you.
