Rated 4 out of 5 by Travellergz Nice hotel
Hotel is clean and in good shape. Nice location which is set a long way from the main drag: La Rambla at the city center. However, this became a plus and a delight since the city center area was nothing more that a nightmare of people, traffic and long lines. Enjoyed the two "Ramblas" adjacent to this hotel much better; filled with mainly locals enjoying a stroll, shopping, or a local eatery. A 30 minute stroll down one of these Ramblas leads you down to the beach. There is a shopping center across the street filled with restaurants and shops. Metro station and Hop On, Hop Off Tourist Bus stop are also very close to the hotel so getting to the city center is a breeze if you have to go there. Beds comfortable, air conditioning working fine, water temperature/pressure fine. Front desk and bellman personnel very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Eggs could have been better, but variety was very good and delicious. Housekeeper not too friendly though. Overall, very friendly, clean, good location and we will be back to this area instead of the city center. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

I seldom mess with these surveys, this is my second ever. I do so now only because this is truly an exceptional hotel. I stay once or twice a year. The price is very competitive. The location ideal, away from the crowds of city center but located on a promenade with lots of restaurants. The staff is extremely helpful from the manager to the cleaning staff and all in-between. It is because of their service I even bother with this,

Rated 5 out of 5 by TL86 Service was fantastic
This was one of the better Four Points I've stayed at. The service from the front desk staff was exceptional and exceeded expectations. The location is good and the rooms are clean and updated. Definitely recommended as a budget option.

Great Hotel. Staff responded quickly to inquiries and was always friendly. Nice room with view on Sagrada Familia and walking distance to the beach (La Rambla Pueblo).

Rated 4 out of 5 by BennykATL A couple days in Barcelona
What a great hotel with a great location! Although away from the main tourist area of Barcelona this hotel has it all. It is near the metro, has views of the Sagrada Familia, is near the beach and across the street from a mall. Also it has a very local feel to it that makes you feel apart of the neighborhood. The staff was fantastic and friendly when we checked in. Would definitely stay here again if we go back to Barcelona.

Rated 4 out of 5 by couldntsleep2 hot @ night
hotel, staff and food were great; only complaint the hotel somehow adjusts the temp in the rooms at night, I awoke each night with a very warm room much warmer than when I went to bed. this caused me to not sleep from 2:30 am until morning rise time each day of my stay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ShellyBoston Great Hotel, Good Location
Having never been to Barcelona, I was so very pleased with this hotel. Very clean and in a good location. A short easy walk to the Metro (get a T10 pass). The staff is helpful and courteous, everyone speaks English. My husband was disappointed that the Fitness Center wasn't ready, but it should be shortly. You can go down the street (in almost any direction) for a less expensive breakfast than offered in the hotel. Stay on a higher floor, the windows are not soundproof. There is no iron in the room, but there is a hairdryer. They only give you exactly enough towels for the number of people in the room, so if one gets dirty during the day, there is no extra towel. (I'm sure you can ask for more). These are minor inconveniences for an American travelling in Europe and probably very standard throughout Europe. Overall this was a very nice hotel.
