The hotel is central located, the staff is is very nice and helpful, the room was clean.
The breakfast I thought was overpriced.

Stayed here before, so it was clear what to expect and what not.
Check in was quick and friendly even at midnight. Being an SPG Platinum guest we got an upgrade to a higher floor room, but towards the 'back side' where u only have a smaller window and not the full window like n the other side. Beds are comfortable and bathroom good. Rooms is quiet.
Like many others noted WiFi is free, but has no good coverage and is slow. You loose connection quite frequently.
We opted for the breakfast option as gift and found the breakfast area small but quite nice with a decent breakfast selection. No huge buffett, but everything u need is there.
Location is not perfect, but with Bus 7 etc you can reach the attractions easily.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Spain2013 VERY BAD checkin process, had to move several times to finally have king/queen room fit for a couple
We have arrived to the hotel at about 10:00 PM. Upon check in we were told that the requested king room was not available until next day and there was only one room left with two twin beds not joined together. Next morning king room was still not available and we were suggested to either wait until midday to move to the king room or leave luggage downstairs and make move to a new room when get back to the hotel in the evening. When we got back to the hotel in the evening we were given new room. Excited we have made second move to only realize that the room was identical to the previous night's twin bed except on different floor. After about an hour of back and force negotiations with the front desk attendant and listening to the repeating story about hotel being completely booked and no rooms available we got new key. This time it was a king size room as we have originally requested. We have never had such bad and disrespecful service at any SPG hotels. It seemed nobody there ( at any shift day or night) had any idea what rooms they had available nor any respect to customers and customers time.

Everything was excellent. Stuff was very friendly, helpful and smiled all the time. I also liked music background on my room floor. The breakfast was amazing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by DDNY Perfect end to a pleasant stay
Booked the FourPoints Barcelona for two days at the end of a hectic 2 week trip to Spain for vacation with family (had rented a 4 BR apartment in central Barcelona for the previous 4 nights). After touring several cities, it was the perfect place to have a little alone time with my boyfriend to relax at the beach which was a pleasant 10 minute walk from the hotel down a charming "rambla" with shops, restaurants and a fabulous gelato stand. The hotel is immaculate (looked to be recently renovated) with free wi-fi and complimentary bottled water in the room which was spacious with an expansive view of the city. All staff members were gracious, helpful and friendly. I am very pleased with my choice and whole-heartedly recommend the Four Points Barcelona!

I am rare guest at 4points, but I was truly impressed. New comfortable room with good maintenance, perfect service, good location (not the best but still in a range of all Barcelona highlights). And all this for quarter of others SPG BCN properties rate.
Small things to be improved: in room wi-fi coverage (1110 doesn't have coverage when in bed); also you need to make full login each time you want to use internet -so, it's not possible to be online all the time for Skype, Whatsapp, Viber etc.;; water pressure on 11th floor wasn't good, also it was hard to tune water temperature in shower.
