I visited the Memphis area for the holidays and stayed at this particular hotel. To my surprise the hotel lobby was nicely decorated with holiday decor , but the service I received and the condition of my room was appalling. Upon arrival there was a woman at the front desk on a personal call and placed her call on hold and greeted me with "yes..." Hmmm.... Yes I would like to check in.......
My room looked clean from a glance. After settling in I noticed that the duvet and sheets on both beds were disgusting (highlighter marker stains, and dirt). When it was brought to the front desk attention they were slightly apologetic and sent housekeeping to replace the duvets. In addition I was refunded for 1 night stay when I felt like I should have not been paying to stay there. It was a total inconvenience and if you saw the way the duvets looked someone in housekeeping should have been fired that day. As I explained to the manager...in light of bedbugs and everything else that take place in hotels, there is no reason for things like this to happen. As a SPG hotel I was very disappointed and I will never stay at that hotel again.

I DID NOT have a good check in experience! I plan on contacting your corp. offices to discuss.
Problem: My wife and I do not use credit cards, Cash only always! My wife was very embarrassed when she tried to check in to your hotel, but was not allowed to use cash for her incidentals $50.00 deposit. She was told that a credit card was required! That is not good business. I did not think I would ever see a time in the US that CASH was not accepted!! Do not expect any more business from our family. Thank you and looking forward to your response.

I arrived at hotel at 3:30 check in is suppose to be 3:00 woman at desk said it would be 15 - 20 minutes on rooms , 45 minutes later I walked back to counter and ask about rooms the girl did not remember who I was when 6 of us had been 15 feet from counter with buggy full of luggage the whole time, she ask someone they said rooms were ready , got to rooms 1 out of 3 was still not clean so we left to go eat came back room was clean but the dirty dishes were still in floor in hallway next to door, they never were picked up, was told they would take $20.00 off room for wait, after I got home checked account they did not take anything off, and noticed the $50.00 hold charges that are suppose to be credited back upon check out are not showing credited back am being told may take 14 days which is ridiculous it should immediately being showing a pending transaction, so now I have to deal with that, one room you had to wiggle handle inside toilet tank to flush toilet breakfast we had to wait forever for sausage and bacon when breakfast had not been going maybe 30 minutes and was barely anyone eating, ice machine on our floor looked like it hasn't been used for months , very rude people never saw 1 smile that I remember, would never stay again

I like the hotel and location but there always seems to be an issue. Normally it is the quality of food but this time I could not get on the preferred floor, sent to a room where there was someone in the room and then finally on the first floor :-(

Usually, when I stay at this particular hotel in Memphis, I have a wonderful experience. However, this time my stay was not so great. I had to disclose an illness in order to get extra towels. The front desk clerk did not know if I was an SPG member or not. She also could not tell me if I could have a late check out of 1:00 pm - which I always get. In addition to those minor incidents, after having left my room at approximately 1:30 pm on Saturday, September 13, 2014, when I returned at approximately 10:15 pm, the door to my room had been left cracked/unlocked by the custodial staff. I was relieved to find that none of my personal belongings had been taken - but, they could have been. Needless to say, this was not the best weekend I've spent at The Four Points Sheraton Southwind. Please tell all staff to double check rooms to make sure they are locked before they exit the area. Thank you

I stay at this property a couple times a month. I love the location and the property and my only CONSTANT complaint is the quality of food (room service). They ALWAYS seem to get my order wrong of the quality is that compared to a Waffle House.

do not stay here. They claim they have "paperless" billing and cannot offer a copy of the folio even electronically, which seems ironic. This makes it really hard to expense anything for business travelers.
