Every room has an ocean view. I don't know if all the rooms have a living room with a sofa bed and a bedroom but ours did making it more comfortable for families. Although we didn't eat there, the breakfast buffet looked yummy.

A great place to stay if you have a few days to spend during the summer. Right on the beach. Recommend going during the week. Suites are excellent all have an ocean view. Yes, going again!

This hotel has the best possible location on Jax Beach, if you want to walk to dining and shopping options. My wife loved the style & decor. It's modern, clean, chic, and tasteful throughout the public areas and the rooms The staff was attentive and accommodating at all times. We asked for a hide-away bed and it arrived before we had finished unpacking. We changed our minds and asked for extra bedding and it arrived within minutes, with a smile - no attitude. They somehow keep the lobby clean, despite the wet & sandy guests returning from the beach which is virtually a few feet away. They have a handy wash-off area for removing sand; multiple card-key entrances that make getting in & out convenient, without having to use the main lobby. The ice-maker, elevator and air conditioning were all in perfect working condition. Breakfast is well maintained, clean, and genuinely helpful staff will bring you any special request you may have. Our kids loved it - great connections for X-box. The 17-yr old adopted the living room as his "man-cave". The shower was a joy - lots of pressure. Can't find any faults worth mentioning - we enjoyed the hotel stay too much. And the beach is fantastic, so don't think twice. Next door to a life guard building that a local told us was just added to the historic register. The place has a good feel to it! I travel for a living and routinely stay in 5-star hotels and resorts. For a casual beach get-away, this hotel, and its staff (and the management that pulls it together) offer a great experience to their guests.

We booked 5 rooms as it was my wife's birthday and she and a bunch of girlfriends that joined her. The staff was amazing at helping us to organize it, get us in early, and provided great accommodations to make this event special.
In addition, Four Points did a great job renovating this hotel and the rooms are very nice. I don't think that you can find a better place to stay in JAX Beach.
We will be back again for sure!

Overall, our stay was nice because of the beach and going to a Dave Matthews concert in town but there were some things about the hotel that concerned both myself and my wife...
I'll begin with this because to me it's basically the most important thing followed closely by cleanliness. The first thing I noticed was that the lobby is completely open for anyone to just walk in from the street or from the beach and go to any of the six floors without a keycard. It makes sense for the front doors to be open to guests but there should be a keycard system on the gate that opens from the beach and there should definitely be a keycard system which would prevent someone from getting on the elevator and using the elevator to get upstairs to where the guests are staying. There were people in the hallway on the 3rd floor who didn't look like they were guests and there was a young guy and girl basically having sx (pants pulled down and shirts on the ground) in one of the elevators around 9pm when my wife and I were going to the elevator to go down to the car for dinner. Needless to say, we used the stairs.
The lobby seemed very new/clean and you could tell that someone must have been mopping the tile in the lobby fairly regularly because there would be foot prints and sand coming in from the beach and then it would always be gone and clean when I'd walk by just a short time later. When I first entered the room, both my wife and I agreed that it smelled bad (like dirty cleaning water or a dirty hospital) and there were a ton of small issues like gross dental floss wrapped around the drain in the shower, what appeared to be a used tissue on the floor next to the bed, unfolded towels on the counter, mugs which had clearly been used and then placed back next to the coffee maker on the counter, and stains on the comforter. Also, it would have been nice if the cleaning staff would have opened the curtains to the sliding glass doors because it was extremely dark and uninviting in the room when we first entered. Also, at 5 star hotels and some 4 star hotels where we've stayed in the past, we have received a call from the front desk to check on us and make sure we were happy with everything about 20 minutes after we first went to our room. No one at this hotel called us to see if there were any issues with the room and it's obviously not a big deal but it would have been nice to explain how dirty the room was and see about moving. We could have called downstairs ourselves but we just cleaned everything ourselves because we had to leave to meet friends. Basically, the point is that little things can make a big difference and there were many little things that were overlooked in this hotel.
The restaurant downstairs was clearly an afterthought for the hotel. It's extremely small, it's out in the middle of everything in the lobby so it's not a very comfortable place to sit and eat, the service there was slow, it's expensive for what you get, the food is mediocre at best, and the hours are terrible. The thing that seems so insane to me is that the hotel is twice as expensive as other hotels that are rated much lower and those other hotels at least offer a free continental breakfast. It would have been nice to be able to go downstairs and have breakfast for free each morning considering how much we paid for the room. Also, other hotels in the immediate area such as Hampton and Marriott offer free buffet breakfast every day so it makes me question why I chose to stay at Sheraton.
There really isn't much to say about the elevators other than they were shockingly slow. The place has three elevators, it wasn't ever very busy the entire time we were there, and it would literally take the elevator 3 to 5 minutes to get downstairs from the time we would press the button. That may not sound like a long time but trust me, it is.
Checking out was a little confusing because no one told us anything at all and we didn't get any kind of a printed receipt under the door or anything on the day we were supposed to checkout. I've always received a printed bill or at least an email on the day I'm supposed to checkout from basically every other hotel in which I've stayed. When I went down to the front desk to make sure there was nothing I needed to do the girl at the desk seemed happy to have another room empty as opposed to thankful that we had decided to spend our time and money in their hotel. Again, not something that's required but it would have been nice.
Overall, the hotel was fine for a short stay. It's obviously cashing in on its location and that's fine it makes sense. However, it would have been nice to feel a little more welcomed and secure at the hotel, and I would have liked it if the room had been cleaner.

The hotel's location is extremely desirable with a gorgeous beach view. However, the staff are not too warm or willing to go out of their way to help (except for one that was very helpful on Sunday night when I was locked out of my room).

You are right on the beach. The rooms are newly remodelled and the beds are comfortable. Very clean, and the staff is wonderful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and really loved the beach location. You are just steps away from the beach!
- Right next to the beach and all kinds of activities.
- Staff was super nice and courteous
- Spacious rooms. We want to go back with our kids!
- Best satellite TV setup I've ever seen in a hotel. Two HDTVS, simple to use and plenty of channels. I hope Starwood will be using this in their other hotels soon!
- Wifi was spotty and kept requiring us to re-enter our access code. Kind-of a pain with all the iphones, ipads, etc.
- Pool is pretty small. Check out the pics online. Not that big of a deal since you have the OCEAN.
- A/C in the room was a bit loud and seemed to either be cold or hot. When it blew it was freezing right on you and when it cut off you would get warm quick.
- Based on experience with other SPG hotels, it seems like more of an SPG 3, not SPG 4.

The Sheraton JAX Beachfront was voted as the best hotel by the family during our recent vacation to the area. The rooms, staff and location was excellent. We really liked not have to drive anywhere to go to restaurants, shopping or groceries. And the beach was great.

My family spent the 4th of July weekend in Jacksonville Beach at this hotel and couldn't have been more pleased. The location and grounds front and back are terrific and the room was very comfortable and clean. The only thing that could have improved this stay would have been to have the sofa bed as padded as the regular bed. But it's a sofa bed, so yeah...

Great place for fire works show on the Fourth. My entire family enjoyed the breakfasts and the courtesy of the staff and management.
Very clean with the exception of a previous occupants underwear under the chair in the bedroom. Room temperature was responsive to the thermostat but the vent was right over the bed creating quite a cool breeze. Elevators a bit slow. Great beach location with reasonable rental opportunities for chairs and umbrellas.

Was a pleasant surprise to discover this is a suite hotel. Every room is a ocean view with a balcony. Everything was top notch. Loved the little details, like the library in the lobby with book guests can take to our rooms. We will definitely return to this hotel.

The hotel was very nice, the rooms were clean and decorated well. I was disappointed that the hotel did not offer some sort of free breakfast. I also went down to see if I could get an extra bottle of water (the hotel gave 1 complimentary bottle in each room) and I was told each room could only have 1 and they could not give me another one. I would think giving someone who is paying $329.00 a night an extra bottle or 2 of water would be good customer service. I also found out after I checked out that I was charged more than my friends in the next room. I am not sure why but am planning on calling in the morning to find out. The customer service failed in my opinion. The staff was friendly but the hotel itself did not offer any of the extras a lot of other hotel chains offer.

We paid for a suite that sleeps "6" people. No were on the site did it tell us that you only get 1 parking pass and everyone else has to pay for parking. It's $5 for every time the car leaves the lot! Between that and how rude the lady was when we checked in I will never stay at another Sheraton again.

Love the facility and will definitely return each year..
One thing that was a real shock was that breakfast was not a free buffet as we were told it was ..I do recommend that the facility offer the free buffet for seniors as well as the Children UNDER 8 yrs if age..I had a sml glass of skim milk /fruit and 2 tiny waffles w/syrup at at cost of $10.00 plus tax. We wondered why no one was earky that morn ffor breakfast..

On Saturday of this past weekend, our air conditioning at home went out. Living in Florida and it being the middle of the summer, it left my family with a very uncomfortable night sleep on Saturday. Very early Sunday morning, I called the Four Points Sheraton on Jacksonville Beach to see what they had available. Not only did they get a room ready for us, they told us to head on over and they would get us checked in. We live in the area and would have never stayed there due to proximity, however, it is now our favorite new get away! The room was fantastic; clean, plenty of room for the four of us and the staff was amazing! We can't wait to go back for a longer stay!

Enjoyed every minute of my stay! The hotel was very welcoming, the beach and Joe's Crab Shack are steps away from the hotel. I will definitely be staying here again. LOVED IT!!

This hotel with its simple relaxed style is located right on the beach with wide open views from the rooms. This hotel is very secure for guests with room keys needed for entry into bathrooms, snack rooms, etc. Walks to restaurants, shops, and other is right outside the door. There is also a walkway for bicycles. Cleanliness is obvious and the room has plenty of closet space. This is not a hustle bustle place but a quiet hotel near much for a relaxed visit. The hotel staff is so courteous and friendly, actually seeming like they enjoy their jobs.

I had a bad experience with another motel, had to check out early but explained the circumstance to Four Points and they put me and my 2 yr. old dog in a room immediately. Their beds, linens, towels are so soft,cuddly.
