Rated 2 out of 5 by Only if you're desperate I'm sitting here in my room at 11 pm listening to every word of the guy on the phone in the room next door and the rumble of every semi blazing down the 101. Wanting to drowned out this drone I pick up my iPad to maybe catch a podcast... oh that's right my iPad has been bricked since I checked in to this dump yesterday. According to the staff, the Wifi here has issues with Apple products... its normal they say. Well maybe I'll crack open the laptop and get some work done. Oh wait... now my laptop doesn't want to connect either. After 3 or 4 retries I manage to get a 100 kbps connection. Yay! Where am I again? Oh, that's right, Silicon Valley. The irony. March 20, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Avoid Room 180 We stayed at this hotel this past weekend. I was given room 180 on the first floor. In my opinion it is the worst room in the hotel. The room is located at the end of a very long hall with only one way out through the main lobby. The room is also located by a emergency exit that looks like a regular exit. Both nights of our stay we were awaken in the middle of the night by the emergency exit alarm/buzzer because someone decided to use the exit. This was very unpleasant and made for a restless day after. Also the parking is not sufficient. August 4, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Staid for a Lacrosse tournament Staid for a lacrosse tournament and it was nice enough but the hotel was very hot (I am sure the hotel was not running the air to save money which I understand but it was very uncomfortable), we did not receive maid service which I am not sure is part of the price of the room or not?, and we had a non-smoking room that smelt like smoke - horribly!! We did order room service and the food came quickly and was very well priced - the food was average. Our room was nice and very clean when we arrived. August 4, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by A little higher than average, but not great Goods - Very reasonable prices - Parking is great and free! - Pool was clean and jacuzzi was a nice addition - The small business center with free printing offers a great convenience for travellers Could use improvement - Staff response at times was slow 1) The pool was often out of towels and when asked for some at front desk it took a half hour to get them (the lobby was empty and the gentleman that brought them over confirmed he just received the request - There is a restaurant / bar on site however when we tried to order food at 10:30 at night we were told the restaurant / bar had turned into a nightclub and could not push out any food however we were welcome to go there for drinks. The surrounding area does not have any food options other than Jack in the Box and no pizza delivery late (As per staff at front desk) - Once I noticed a security guard walking around in the middle of the night it put me on suspicion that something happened or was going to happen and had a bad sleep (my own paranoia self however.) Raymond at the front desk is wonderful at responding immediately to any problems and fixing them. We'll continue staying at this hotel when visiting family in the San Jose area. August 16, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by choosing not to have room cleaned The only problem is that when room isn't cleaned, there are no coffee packets for the a.m.; also sometimes all that is needed is a couple of washcloths or hand towels. We chose not to have room cleaned because of the drought and figured that sheets certainly didn't need to be changed for a few nights. I did talk to the people cleaning other rooms and was able to get a couple of coffee packets. I'm sure I could have asked at the front desk. So actually a pretty small problem. August 12, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Dissapointing service all the way around I booked here based on a recommendation from a couple getting married. The rate seemed good and the location perfect. When we arrived, it took about 10 minutes to locate a clean room. The first room we were shown smelled of smoke and we asked to be switched. Another room was found and this one was satisfactory. We went to the wedding and returned around 10 pm with our 2 kids wanting to get ready for bed since we were going to San Francisco the following day. We couldn’t find a parking spot anywhere except for around the back of the hotel and had to walk most of the way around the hotel to get into the lobby. When we got to our room, my key didn't work. I went to the front desk to find out why. I was informed our room had been switched and that the hotel staff had physically moved all of my personal belongings to a new room. They told me another guest had prepaid for that exact room and it shouldn’t have been given to me. I was told they had no way to contact me, but I got e-mails from them confirming my reservation and when I made the reservation, I put in my phone number as was required. That number wasn't even tried. I understand mistakes happen, but I feel it is unacceptable to have my personal items be moved anywhere, by anyone besides me, without some sort of approval by me. After being assured that everything was moved, we went to take showers only to find there was no shampoo in the dispenser in the shower. To make things worse, when packing up to check out the next morning, we realized a book and a toy that my 4 year old daughter had brought were missing. We called the front desk and they said they would look. After about 15 minutes, they called and said no one was answering the door. I told them we need to do something because we are headed out now. After another 10 minutes, I went to the front desk and they were calling the guest in the room and woke them up. Then they asked the guest to look for it. After the guest couldn’t find the items, they asked them to look again. I told them not to bother the other guest since it wasn't the guest's fault and if I was that guest I would be upset. The items were not found and my wife had to carry my crying daughter to the car. I have never had an experience like this at a hotel and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. July 28, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by Too noisy We booked this hotel for 3 nights, but we had to check out after the first night. My husband could not sleep all night because of the noise. At 6am I was woken up by kids and moms yelling in another room. The walls are very thin. There is no cell phone reception inside the room, I had to walk outside to make calls. August 11, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by This hotel needs to have parking available for guests The night I stayed at this hotel location, there was a local band playing at the adjoining building establishment that caused hotel patrons to look for parking out on the street and not in the friendly and convenient area of the hotel parking. I know this isn't a common thing that happens but when it does, they need to have them park on the street, not the hotel guests. July 15, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pleasant Surprise We were going to only stay 2 nights; however extended our stay to 4. Very clean and comfortable. They even have a very nice running/walking trail that goes for several miles. Really appreciate the front desk staff Jesus Uribe. He was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Maybe one of the best front desk staff I've dealt with. August 1, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Return customer in a month This is my second day in a month. Like last time, I was excited to arrive this " Smell Wonderful" hotel. Staff were different from last stay. The receptionist was polite but could not make me feel welcomed. Room felt the same as last time, very nice but bathroom was out of shower gel (or unless the dispenser was full but the shower gel came out just very tiny bit when pressed ). I had to use shampoo for body wash instead. One of the lamps didn't work. I had to test different light bulb and found out it's the outlet problem. I plugged it to a different outlet and it worked. Overall, experience was ok. Might try different location next time. July 13, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Found a Used Condom in my room I've stayed at this hotel many times in the past. I've never been impressed with it on the whole and would never eat in the restaurant. However, I've never been given a reason to never come back until now. There was a used condom stuck to the bedskirt. I reported it to the front desk and was told the manager would be notified. If he was, i never heard from him. July 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Satisfied Overall, we had agreat experience. Even though they didnt have a crib for us when we arrived, they went to another hotel and borrowed one so that our one year old could sleep in his own bed. Other than that, it was perfect. Great value for the room. I will definitely go back. I think the exterior needs a paint job, other than that, I would recommend it. Thanks. July 28, 2014

( which is a really bad thing when you are recovering from a shattered knee) Dirty sheets A/C not working Room service was horrible and we just ordered coffee Smelly room Broken elevator Spoke with manager when checking out. He acted like it was no big deal. Said he would call. (Little late) I paid 222.00 for one night.you would think that they would have at least changed the sheets. Never again will I stay at a Sheraton . June 27, 2014

Sillicon Valley blvd is not Sillicon Valley that people generally understood with high tech region, even though some tech companies are near the hotel. With new name people would be less confusing as I did last time... I was there because no other SPG was near where I need to be. July 27, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Affordable & clean It is a little out of the way but very reasonable rate for all the hotels in Silicon Valley. Hotel is clean, roomy and quiet. Do eat somewhere else after you finish your meeting or not much to eat in the surrounding area. :) One negative feedback, the hotel does not provide any lotion so bring your own. July 25, 2014

The next morning the wake up call never came and the shower was out of both Gel and Conditioner, first experience with that at a Starwood property. I won't be returning. July 25, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great location-restuarant needs improvement This hotel has a great location to shopping, dining and work. It is easy to access and close to the highway. Front desk staff are courteous and accommodating. The food service-restaurant and room service- leave much to be desired. The restaurant service is slow, food is very average and seems to be a second thought to the room service that is moved through the restaurant. Room service is minimal at best. If you order, be very specific about condiments you may need-two incidents with no coffee condiments, no salt/pepper, no ketchup etc. June 13, 2014
