When we booked a hotel on Bourbon St. I expected a place that was more than a little run down. What a pleasant surprise I had walking into the Four Points. Clean, comfortable and so conveniently located. The doorman Neil really impressed me. He never stopped moving and always seemed to be 3 steps ahead of his guests needs. Be cause of home and how great the place was I will be back soon. Thank you!

Had a great time staying at the Four Points By Sheraton French Quarter over a long Labor Day Holiday weekend. I arrived Thursday and left Tuesday.
The check-in was a breeze. The young lady who helped me was polite, efficient, friendly and professional. All employees at the hotel that I encountered were wonderful; they act as if they are owners, helpful and ready to make my stay great. The cleaning crew is excellent. Unlike some hotels I have stayed in, they do their jobs as quietly as possible and actually leave me alone when I put out the "Do Not Disturb Sign". I slept great and, by the way, the beds are extremely comfortable! The Pool area is beautiful. The location is smack in the middle of everything and even though Bourbon is VERY noisy, the rooms are quiet. The décor of the hotel an rooms is very nice.
Checkout was easy; unfortunately we had an early evening flight so, with checkout being at noon, we had luggage but we wanted to tour some more before going to the airport. No problem, the Bellman held our luggage until we came back to fetch it a few hours later.
I HIGHLY recommend the Four Points By Sheraton French Quarter.
My only complaint is NOT with the hotel. A few years back, New Orleans hired a company to do street cleaning. I have been coming to the French Quarter for a long time, and the period when they had the streets cleaned were far better than now. My wish is for the businesses of the Quarter to put pressure on the City to bring back the street cleaning. Between the horses being ridden by the police, and drunks spilling food, drinks, etc., the stench is quite bad now. It doesn't have to be. BRING BACK THE STREET CLEANERS!

We had a very nice stay at your hotel. I had to move rooms becuase the noise level in my room was crazy, it is right on Bourbon street!! The front desk staff moved me without delay and effortlessly.
The only thing that was disappointing was the hotel restaurant food. Frozen hash brown potatoes? seriously? it's not the 80's anymore and not acceptable in such a great food town like New Orleans.

From the moment I gave them the car, until the time I got back in the car, I was impressed. The valet made me feel a sense of trust. The young lady working the front desk was an absolute pleasure. Even the maid offered me a bottled water in the hall! My servers both mornings for breakfast were pleasant and helpful. The food was great, and the room was very clean and smelled nice.

My family really enjoyed our stay here. Everyone that worked for the hotel was very helpful and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities to do as a family. It was a safe place to stay with children. It was a great location to walk anywhere in the NO area. It met our SPG expectations for a Four Point hotel.

Requested early check in. Rooms were actually ready but the supervisor had gone to lunch so we had to wait another hour for room to get checked. This is the second time we stayed at this property and had to wait to check in.
Hair in the bathtub when we arrived and no bath towels in the room.
The location was PERFECT! The staff were friendly. The overall cleanliness was good.

Other than a Bourbon Street Balcony the room was maybe average and had issues. Booked king and got doubles, TV broken and staff attemps to repair failed (gave up), phone worked somewhat and could not even set the time on the room clock (Broken). Seemed like a lot of problems for a room of this price..

The hotel was awesome. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. This hotel had the friendliest staff I have ever seen. The only negative had to do with the streets outside the hotel. You could hear the hustle of New Orleans all night. Then the street cleaners could be heard in the morning.

Check in was 1/2 hour late despite my arrival 3 hours prior to check in time
No king bed then available i was told despite requesting when booked
I was given 2 free drink tokens but the bar refused to honor them saying they were only good for 2 for 1 beers not drinks at all
All in all i think I would try a different place next time

They have an awesome location. People were helpful when asked. They even went out of the way to show a different room. Door staff impressed me that I gave my first gold thank you.
I think to make it better pool food and beverage delivery. Also, well as knowing the SPG benefit system. I was told I could not have a late check out at all.

Reservation was for king. Not available upon check in. The room was not very clean. The carpet had gum stains and cigar burns. Very scuffed furniture. Did not want to walk on the dirty carpet. This room requires extensive renovation.

Weak Wi-Fi and the A/C did not work very well. When you know the maintenance man by his first name (Donnie), that says something. Donnie was great and help as much as he could. Overall the hotel is nice if you want to be in the FQ

The room was clean and comfortable.. Needs some minor maintenance repairs to bathroom. Need more towels in room. Staff not very well informed on things happening in the hotel , restaurant or bar. So we did not use the bar or restaurant

Amazing staff, especially given the h*ll they must go through with the ever intoxicated guests they work with... Great location, but very loud for those rooms facing Bourbon (and noisy guests).
Had a great bachelor party, but my wife and I will stay at the Sheraton on pur next visit ;)

I read reviews that complained about this hotel. Noise level, didn't hear a thing, room was pool view. A/C had a problem, nice man fixed it right away. Was being approached on street for money and door man came right out and ushered us in hotel. Would recommend this hotel. Great location..

Hotel room was GREAT!!!!! Great hotel service & parking service! Restaurant was overrated. Food was not worth the money & need more of a variety to choose from for dinner. The only thing that had flavor was bread. Tables were also dirty (both on top and below the glass).

Nothing better than walking out the door of your hotel and into the center of the action in the French Quarter. Surprisingly, our room was pretty quiet and night - even with all the music. Staff: friendly and helpful. Rooms: small but cozy. And could not ask for a better location.

Wonderful experience at the hotel, exceedingly clean, staff was very helpful, friendly and always answering questions without hesitation.
Room on Bourbon street was quiet all throughout the night which is unheard of with crowd's and music all night.
Great job by the staff!

From the minute we pulled up to the garage to the minute we pulled out, everyone at Four Points was very courteous and extremely friendly. Rooms were immaculate.....would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends! Very happy and satisfied! :-)

The staff was very very friendly,helpful and courteous. Checking in and out at front desk went smoothly.
Central location in The Quarter is good.
Only problem encountered was lack of wash cloths in room.
We would recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel but water pressure in the shower was very weak so my wife couldn't wash her hair. Luckily we staid only one night before heading to FL on our road trip.

The hotel was great. The internet service is complimentary but never available. Thr staff kept saying that they are working on it but we never had access for two days. I was there on business and needed to go outside to get internet access.

The staff at this hotel has always been excellent. Larry the bellman is very welcoming. Shameka and Jonathan at the front desk keep you smiling. Laurel at the bar is amazing. I return to this hotel 1-2 times a year because of the great crew.

Rooms were reserved in April 2013 for stay in September 2013. Request was 4 balcony rooms side by side that all shared the same balcony, and 2 court yard rooms. It was confirmed these had been reserved. Call was made several times to confirm we still had the reservations. On couple of calls, we were told only one room reserved. Took hours on the phone to get this fix, only to show up at the hotel to go through the same mess again. We ended up with room on 4ht floor, several all over the 3rd floor and one on 2nd floor. This was a large family vacation with 23 of us, the mess up with the rooms really put a damper on things. Staff kept saying there was no other rooms as they were already reserved. OUR ROOMS WERE RESERVED WITH CONFIRMATION!!!! Just one big mess if you ask me!!! The room I was in, was hot, could not get air conditioning to work correctly and no exhaust fan in the bathroom, which only made matter worse. We had a family Birthday to celebrate along with cake to be served. When we ask for plates and silverware to use, we were not told no, but told where to find a store that would sell us plastic ware and paper plates!!!
We stayed at this hotel 5 years ago, it was great and no issues, that's why we came back. This time, not the case. The Hotel is a great location for what our family wanted to get out of our visit, but the staff really disappointed this time around.
We were told the mess up was due to whom we talked to when we reserved, that they don't know the hotel layout. If that's the case someone needs to be better trained.
Lastly, this was a family vacation, paid for by my Mother and Father, at no time was there any effort to apologize to them or even attempt to make the issue right. And my only question to you would be, why have confirmation numbers if they mean nothing in the long run? Like I said they kept saying our rooms were not reserved?!?!

I have stayed here a number of times. As long as you realize that you are staying in the middle of Bourbon street and it's going to be loud all night, you will have a blast! Fantastic hotel, great staff, can't ask for much more.
