Rated 2 out of 5 by Hotel-ok As a platinum spg member, this hotel was a little disappointing. The rooms smelled musty and of mildew. The hotel is in a good location but really needs major remodeling. If you are looking for somewhere to stay it is ok. It is not up to par with other spg hotels that we have been to. However, the staff was friendly and helpful. July 28, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Attaining the Starwood Brand Hello, I've stayed at many starwood properties, Westin, Aloft, etc. I understand that various brands within starwood offer different categories of service and experiences. At the same time, the Four Points in Manhattan needs some assistance in hotel upkeep and staff training. Public areas are in dire need of improvement, from carpet replacement, to door maintenance to paint touch ups. The hotel inside has a worn out and tired feel to it. The rooms are in ok condition, but could also use for example a touch up in the bathroom, as the wallpaper is peeling or bubbling, and the tile may need replacing. Lighting in the rooms is good and should be highlighted. Regarding staff training, it seems a sense of task and urgency is not as prominent as one might expect. The front desk being unstaffed (at a hotel this size I would have expected two, maybe more front desk employees at any time). Staff are heating up pizza in the common area and then consuming it, laughing in the room behind the front desk while customers are waiting, keeping a customer waiting for a phone call (In general people in person always have priority, no matter the industry). Things of this nature. My suggestion for the staff would be to take a trip to the Aloft in Leawood, and see how things operate there. Please let me know if I am able to add further comments to help improve the experience. I really feel the Four Points in Manhattan could be an excellent experience, far above anything else in Manhattan, but there is still a ways to get there. July 28, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Security concerns It was disturbing to discover that back entrances to hotel hallways were unlocked and the locks appeared disabled. There were at least 3 doorways leading to back parking lots that remained open both day and night. Further, during the week, there were people hanging out at the indoor pool who were clearly not guests at the hotel. Their children dominated the pool making it uncomfortable for actual hotel guests to use the entire pool area. July 10, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by High School Reunion nightmare This hotel was the worst that we have stayed in. The rooms were dirty, the maid service was very poor, as they only made the beds & changed the towels. No cleaning of the bathroom or sink, no cleaning of the room and no vacumming of the floors. The only meal we ate was breakfast & the food was underprepared & tasted awful, hard to believe that French toast w/ sausage & pancakes w/ bacon could be so poorly prepared & taste so bad. We will never visit that hotel again & will be very skeptical of all Sheraton hotels. June 24, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Conference stay First time stay at this facility while attending conference at this facility in Manhattan, KS. Only complaint of my stay was initially getting lost looking for my room. My room was on the outer ring of the building and didn't know to walk through the unmarked brown doors which exited into the hallways of the outer ring of rooms. Signage on the doors would be helpful to direct guests to these rooms. Conference food was good for lunch and breakfast. A/V systems worked well. A good choice by the conference host to pick this facility. June 22, 2014
