After spending five days just prior to coming here at the Sheraton Annapolis, this place was a total disappointment! The fact that they did not have the perks(Club Lounge, cucumber water) was disheartening. However the main distinction was the lax attitude of staff, and the filthy hotel! I saw the same leaf in a corner of the elevator for 3 days. I think it was gone eventually because a draft blew it away! I was told this was a business class hotel and that is why things were as they were! I would be insulted if I was a business traveler and got this slack treatment! I was so embarrassed to have my sisters be exposed to this after the wonderful stay in Annapolis just days before!

Hotel is very dank and dirty, cleanliness in all areas needs improving. Pool was literally green, with trash and two full size TOWELS laying at the bottom of it, easily recognizable. Gym as well needs much attention, and everything needs to be cleaned to rid the stickiness.

Never enjoy a hotel as much as I enjoyed this one. Slept like a baby. Food was excellent. Staff was out of this world and made you feel right at home.

Upon arrival, our experience at the front desk was professional, but warm and friendly. Staff was competent and seemed to enjoy their job. The room was clean and decorated nicely. Free bottled water! The café food and service was terrific as well.

Mr. Reggie Edwards (I believe that his name) is a great representative for the hotel. Great attitude and personality. I believe he really enjoy his job and would be a great leader for the hotel. Ms. Gwen is a great person to receive the guest as she gave me a great taste at the very beginning of my stay and it did not go down except for one minor incident but Mr. Edward brought it back up. Really and truly those two staff members renewed my belief in my stay. They are real credits to your business.

Really the best, top-notch customer service you want to see when staying at a hotel. Christine bent over backwards on the front-end when she was able take our original reservation and knock a good 25% off our 3-day stay by offering us a veterans discount. When we wanted to check in early, Gwen made sure the room was ready 2+ hours prior to their customary check-in time of 3pm, and then went the extra-mile and assisted me in unloading the car & taking our suitcases up to the room. Unfortunately, coming off I-64 I had left my lights on and drained the battery on our Camry, but in line with top-level service we experienced throughout the stay, the airport shuttle driver -- a Mr. Marley, had a set of jumper cables and helped us out with a jump.
Other highlights included a very comfortable king size bed, some of the best - if not the best pillows we have ever had at a hotel; a shower/tub combo with really great water pressure & consistently hot water no matter the time of day; a mini-fridge that stayed nice & cold, a microwave, and a spacious bathroom w/numerous grab bars to assist my wife & I with our physical challenges.
On the not as positive side, we did find the sink in the bathroom to be remarkably small/ tight relative to the rest of the bathroom (definitely something we found a bit of a design "oops"). And we did mistakenly assume that given the price point of the room there would be a Continental Breakfast included in the stay, but there was not.
Overall though, for us a great stay -- and somewhere we wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we were in the area.

We needed a clean and comfortable place to stay on a road trip from VT to FLA with our dog. We called SPG (talked to a very friendly and helpful agent) and got this place near the airport in Richmond along our route. We arrived late and still got a room upgrade. The front desk clerk was very nice and responsive and even provided us with additional coffee and creamers for the room. Overall, a great stay!
