Rated 1 out of 5 by Not coming back This hotel was poor. Upon arrival, I was given a complimentary beverage card to the bar/restaurant included in the hotel- but the liquor license had expired and so it was only good for a soda. The room was obviously dated and very small. The A/C unit had been damaged and had pieces hanging off of it showing a filthy built in filter. The bathroom was tiny and cramped, and didn't even include a fan for moisture. The phone didn't work in the room, either. In the early morning, the power went out- so there was no hot water, A/C, lights, or the alarm clock. Or coffee. Or the elevators. July 7, 2016

Rated 1 out of 5 by DO NOT STAY HERE I love staying at Sheridan's--so much so that I argue with my partner who prefers to stay at another hotel chain'. This was unlike any Sheridan experience I have ever encountered. The AC in our room was barely functioning during an extreme Kansas City heat wave. I tried to call the front desk to report it and the phone in our room also didn't work. I visited the front desk, they said someone would check it out but that the hotel was booked so we could not be moved. We left for the baseball game, returned, and the AC issue had not been fixed. Then we went to your workout facility. The facility was nice, except the water cooler was empty. We thought no big deal and went upstairs to purchase bottled water from your snack center by the front desk. They informed us they were sold out of water and nothing could be done. There was no vending machine in the hotel either. The WORST issue came the next day. We left our hotel room at 10:15 AM. I mentioned to the maids who were still in our hallway our room number and that we were leaving and would like service. When we returned at 4:30 PM our room had not been cleaned! I went to the front desk and the man working it (Tre) informed me the hotel was sold out and they had spent the time cleaning rooms they were trying to turn around for new checks in. He did not indicate or offer to have our room cleaned. Upon hearing this, my partner was quite upset and returned to the front desk. She mentioned she has never experienced a Sheraton encounter like this before and that she was unhappy. Tre agreed to have someone clean the room and recheck the AC while we were out for the baseball game. We returned and both issues had finally been addressed, although there was still no working phone and the shower would not fully turn on. Also many outlets in the room didn't work. Like I said, I generally love your facility. I am surprised by how this hotel is being run. It appears understaffed and falling apart physically in many ways. I want to stay in Sheridans in the future, but as mentioned above, it will now be more difficult to persuade my partner who prefers to stay in another hotel chain. June 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by GOOD FRIENDLY STAFF Even though the hotel was super busy when we came the staff was friendly and took care of all of my family needs the gentleman that helps me at night because of our big mess was on top of it! I also recommend this hotel to guest that are going to the game February 23, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice Experience An average hotel for an older 4 Point property but the food and service turned out by the nearly empty grill made this overnight stay a pleasure. Kufdos to Maurice in the kitchen (who came to the table to see if everything was good) and to John who, although in experienced) worked his tail off. October 24, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Never again we stayed at the hotel for 4 days and bedding was never changed, maid forgot to leave coffee, clean washclothes, and forgot to vacuum the floor. Hotel parking lot was being used by people going to the Royals game so had to park in very back of hotel, had a party of four elderly people with us parking was very inconvenient. August 20, 2015
