Rated 4 out of 5 by This hotel is very nice. This hotel is very nice. Our only problem was when we would leave our room we had a hard time getting the door to lock. One issue we thought was that it would be nice if the bar wasn't open to and across from the front desk. In the evenings you smell booze when you enter the building and to us it doesn't set a good example for children. But other than that it was a very nice romantic getaway and very quiet. June 12, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by very rude staff The staff was very rude, the receptionist was flirting with her boyfriend that was not an employee and he was making rude jokes to me as a customer. At check out i was charged more then expected. The food and snack selection was not existent very few options. I am a SPG member and have stayed at many Sharatons across the nation and this was the wort service i had ever received. May 27, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by Great hotel - very poor service We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. The hotel is new and rooms great. Unfortunately service is terribly lacking. The front desk person was very disinterested when we arrived. Then after our first night our room was not cleaned. It was the evening, so we called the front desk twice. They were not apologetic and did not offer us any assistance (we needed clean towels, cups and toilet paper - at least the bare minimum!). They suggested we "go look in the hall". After two calls we went down stairs to get the items ourselves. Again no one seemed worried that we hadn't had our room cleaned. We waited for toilet paper as they said it would be delivered but it was not. Finally we found an employee in the hallway and asked him for some!! This is a lovely establishment but there needs to be courteous service and sufficient helpful staff in order for people to return. There are enough new hotels in Minot so people can choose elsewhere to go easily. May 20, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not Good No mention by staff of breakfast included. Can hear people next door. People knocking on doors for someone to let them in; are they a registered guests? Poor room planning-king bed does not allow for two night stands. Dirt behind bathroom door & tilt grout still on front of the shower stall. Safe worked periodically. May 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not bad for a new hotel This hotel seemed very new, like most of what is now in Minot. The hotel itself is nice and clean. I liked the bathroom tiled shower instead of the tub. There was no mention of SPG at all during check in or check out, no receipt for fast check out under my door, and no offer of a receipt from the front desk when i turned in my keys. The beds are very very firm, so if you like that then its fine, but it was a less than comfortable nights sleep. Overall the hotel was clean and quiet, but the staff was not the normal Starwood staff, maybe they just need more time to get comfortable with all the procedures, May 5, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad Management I have stayed at this hotel for over a year and have spent in excess of $20,000. Until recently I have had a fairly good experience. Management overcharged $140 for my last 20 day stay, and refuses to adjust it, talk to me when I have shown up at the hotel, or even call me back. They quoted me a price and charged me another. Overcharge of $7 a night. Is that legal? GIve me notice first. I will never stay at the Minot Four Points again, and will not recommend it to anyone passing thru. After all the time and money I have spent there, I do not understand why Management would ignore me for $140. Its not that much money, but I plan to follow thru with this until I am credited what I am owed. Charles Chandler May 3, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by 3 Hour wait for a Crib We checked in at 8:30pm and ask for a playpen or crib for my 2 yr old daughter with the time change it was already past her bedtime. We were told that when another person came on they would bring it up to us. I asked how long that would be and she didn't know. I asked if I could just get it myself and was told she didn't know where it was. An hour went by in our room, so I called down and same response. Another hour went by and called again. This time the "other person" answered and didn't know what I was talking about. We had given up. We finally got our little one to settle between us, and went to sleep. 11:30-11:45 we were woken up by a knock at our door. It was the "other person" with our crib 3 hours later. We were pretty disappointed in the lack of communication and thoughtlessness of the front desk staff. Granted I didn't put up my "Do not Disturb". I'm sure a better system could be put into place to avoid situations like this. Simply communicating that a crib or playpen was unavailable would have been better than not communicating anything at all. April 25, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pleasant stay and great breakfast We were greeted warmly, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Gym was well maintained and sufficient for a good workout. Special mention for Dolly Hsu,who prepares and serves breakfast at the hotel. She is warm and extremely friendly and goes all out to make everyone happy with the breakfast that we ordered, She would accommodate guests who come down after breakfast has been cleared and would happily prepare food for them. Excellent service that makes us want to return again! January 18, 2014

The staff has been very nice and professional. The food quality and service has been great. Overall very pleased with the changes these past few months. January 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not Bad But.... Stayed at this hotel Jan 2nd and then Jan 5th/ First stay we were welcomed with complimentary water, biscotti and a nice card. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Second stay, the toilet was not cleaned properly, phone did not work and we were moved to another room. Due to the cold temperatures the floor was super cold, but this room was better. overall, I would stay here again but cleaning staff should be a little more thorough when cleaning the toilet. Don't want to see urine stains on the seat. January 8, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad Experience Was there for a girls weekend. We checked in and the front desk person working seemed pretty sketchy. We went and moved our car to the side door to bring our things in and the front desk was standing smoking and acting like she was at a party with a few of her friends. Loud, obnious behavior. We go up to our floor. There are dirty dishes outside a lot of rooms in our hall, the room number panels were lying on teh floor on multiple rooms, like no one had been on that floor for days to notice the mess. When we went into our room the beds were made but everything was dusty/dirty. The white comforter had a red stain on it. We went for dinner and came back and walked into the lounge for a drink and it was full of men, which was fine. Some no socks or shoes on. Wont go into more details than that but it was scary for us. We didnt dare stay for our drink and went upstairs and locked our door. It was not a pleasant experience at all. We contemplated leaving to find another motel that night, we were that uncomfortable.
