Rated 5 out of 5 by Star Attraction Beach This is the first 4 Points By Sheraton Hotel that I have stayed which has a lovely beach at its door step to complement the hotel. Like all 4 Points Brand, the customer service is good. But they could do a little better with recognition for its SPG Platinium member. I had to spend the first night without a suite room. But they corrected it with an executive suite upgrade the next night. The hotel swimming pool had a lovely view of the beach as one swims - usually available in its sister 5 star hotels. So this beach setting must count as a premium for staying in 4 Points Penang. Kudos to the acting GM, Mr Fauzy Wahab, who was always present in the lobby ensuring things went well for its guests and for supporting his staff in their work. Mr Fauzy was even seen carrying the luggage for one of the guests. Thanks also to the restaurant manager, Mr Sarjiv, who was always also on hand to greet diners and chat with them making sure their needs were met. March 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Highly Recommended I stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Penang for the past 2 weeks. The employees at this property always go above and beyond to provide most welcome and professional services. I had a wonderful experience that will remember for a long time – amazing ocean view, wonderful food, friendly people, safe city, and many more. I want to sincerely thank everyone at Four Points by Sheraton Penang, specifically the following employees! Rated 2 out of 5 by Mixed Feeling Room was ok, but the windows has loads of hand stains. Room wasn't quite ready. Bathrobes and towels weren't in the room. Had to inform them to send it up for us. And seems the pool is for public use which I think it's sad to see. Worst experience was at The Best Brew. We sat there for almost 20 minutes and there weren't staff to bring us the menu or attending to us. Asked for the menu, took another 10 minutes for the staff to come back with them menu. Totally a let down there! Staff were rude and not polite at all! On the day before checking out, same thing happened at the Eatery. I had to walk into the restaurant to find staff to get us the menu. Ordered Latte and was given cuppuchino. The tables were not clean at the Eatery. I wonder what impression that gives us guest who are staying there. Asked for glasses during my stay but staff came with glasses that has stains on it. I haveno idea at all what can I say about that. It is really another let down by Four Points by Sheraton Penang. The aircon, fridge, electric kettle and bathtub wasn't in good working condition and the room service sucks! And the guest service officer was arrogant as well. February 27, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay Amazing hotel. Great service, great rooms, staff were top notch amazing!!! I was travelling a 3 year old alone and a week. The staff were so sweet and attentive to my child. One day, I left my iPhone at the pool and the service man returned it to the desk. Most people would have taken it and all my picture for this trip would have disappeared. Love the pool and lobby. Staff being the best. feed backs are-sink is really high. Im 5'4 and I was struggling. So my 3 year old had to climb up on the counter. Nothing you can do, no big deal. Another thing is room service. Breakfast is so amazing. All the food is prepared perfectly, taste so authentically and yet room service is sub par. None the less. This hotel will always be my go to from now on. Great job!!! February 19, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by hotel managed by helpful and friendly staff Booked 2 rooms for a birthday getaway for a friend. Mentioned only when checking in and the staff were so kind to being up a slice of birthday cake. Simple touches like made up bed and jelly beans/marshmallows on the table. I had some paperwork to sort our and they were so kind to offer their fax services. Was a pleasant stay friends that came with also feedback they will definitely stay at Four Points for their future Penang trips February 5, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Staff is top notch Not coming to Penang in a long time I desided on Four Points as beeing Starwood Platinum. I was pleasently surprised with the hotel; especially with the very friendly, attentive and funny staff (especially thanks to Jamillah, Sabrina, Munshid in the bar... you know why:)). I will be this year Platinum for life so I have seen a few Starwood hotels and I think that the staff in Four Points (especially the bar) is one of the best! Otherwisw, hotel is clean, rooms are very nice (I got Platinum recognition upgrade to suite) with sea wiev. The beach is not so good for swimming but pool/pool area is nice. Bar terrace ideal for late afternoon/evening sunset and gin tonics. Will come again for sure. January 23, 2015

Staff at check in/out (Nick) is warm and friendly; overall room was good as well although there was a particular night that could have been better (noise reduction) wedding hosted on the 6th floor which was loud and affects those staying on the 5th. Worthwhile considering a lifeguard stationed at the beach as well. January 3, 2015

Location is fantastic, easy to access Georgetown for Penang cuisine and at the same time nice and peaceful for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended. December 11, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay that made us feel special! My wife and I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Penang recently. It was a short 1 night stay - we only wished it could be longer. However, the 24 hours we spent there was a great one as the resort's team made us feel special in every way! Thank you to Adrian and his team and we will definitely be back!. December 7, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful Penang I hope the hotel can be fully carpeted to feel more cosy. The shower room is not fully glass so water can get into the floor area making it sleepy. Also there is no welcome drinks for guest checking in. No newspaper being send to the room neither was I told to request.... Normally it is automatically send...Star Or NSTP. November 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by One satisfied stay Last weekend, i had a 5D4N stay with my partner in the four points Penang. I am surprised at how the staffs are well-trained to patch up their mistakes. I would like to personally thank the staffs that had make my stay a pleasant one, Kimberley from the front desk, for taking our problems into own hands and recovered them there and then, and Achmad and Kamal, probably from the housekeeping or linen, for being attentive as soon as problems on your part are mentioned. Thank you once again team for making my stay a pleasant one, especially in Penang, November 27, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good place for staying in Penang Comfort place in Penang - not city but short distance to Georgetown and other side to gardens not far. There is a beach witch not big, but clear and convenient. And excellent staff. One of us had some problems with health and participation of staff was sincere and very useful: from maintenaExcnce in clinic to in addition provided services in very decent volumes - water, tea, sugar. Rated 5 out of 5 by relax, non-pack hotel with sea view really like here after i tried so many hotels in Penang, and the price is reasonable, with a near sea view. and its only 5th floor, meant no so many guest so you may rest peacefully just next to pool or beach, any time. Breakfast also good quality choices. For toileteries kits, I think maybe due to enviroment frienly concept, so provide less kits, but u may call to request. only thing no good maybe is withou bathrope and hair dryer. Farer form town and limited parking lot. November 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fairly Modern Hotel The interior design of the hotel (incl room & facilities) are modern. Room is spacious & comfortable. It is good for us to hang around in the room after half day out in the city and before going out again for dinner. There are a wide choices offered in the buffet breakfast. Rated 4 out of 5 by This hotel is good 4* I've stayed 2 nights in the hotel during my business trip. The rooms and bed was really great! I've liked that it's on the beach side but the same time not big like resort so that you can feel either relaxing mood in the evening and very dynamic set in the morning! The comments i would like to point on to improve: sea water is littered and the dishes and cutlery in the restaurant is not proper washed. Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Beachfront hotel We stay 2 nights at Premium Room. This is not seaview room but is still great for us. Everything in the Hotel are fantastic, except for one thing which is the parking area (limited parking slot). However, the management is try to solve the problem by using valet parking services to help the guest to park the car when the parking lot are full. Breakfast are excellent, you can enjoy the seaview while having your breakfast. We have a good sleep, and the bathroom with bathtub allow us to have a full enjoyment. The location of this Hotel is good, nearby Batu Ferringhi and Gurney Drive, easy accessible. October 31, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Love at first sight I just love the stay.It was a unplanned trip and we drive along feringgi and tg bungah to hunt for the hotel.I was greeted by the SPG client service and she offered me a great price which was the similiar rate if i book from the starwood website.We love the property so much and immediately we book the room. The oversized single bed really pampered us so much.Love the bedding and soft pillow and i slept so soundly at night. Opt for deluxe oceanview room as it has a great seaview. October 27, 2014
