The hotel is simple and good, its proximity to airport is the key. We were visiting India for a trip to Leh and had one day off at Delhi for some personal work. We find this hotel to be good and has the basic facilities.

I enjoyed the food a lot, and the cook was quite professional and he came and asked me if i was satisfied and if everything was up to the standards, so i was quite pleased with the quality of both food and service.

I redeemed my SPG points, and I think it offers the best value for money/points. Huge property, clean rooms and common areas, good food and internet. However rooms are very small which is not expected at a big property, probably they offered my a smaller room.

My stay at the Sheraton, Delhi Airport was far from smooth. I had booked 2 rooms more than 2 months in advance of my arrival- One of the rooms was booked as a king bed, and the other room was booked as 2 double beds.
Upon arriving, I was told that my rooms were located far away from each other (really?!). Moreover, the room that I had booked as twin beds was changed to a king bed without consulting me. We had taken an international flight in excess of 15 hours, and were extremely tired when we got to the hotel. I had sought the room with 2 double beds for my sister and me. Being a Platinum SPG member, I was expecting to get the same level of service that I get at other SPG hotels. However, it was not to be. They did not change the room to my original reservation, and as a result, my sister had to sleep on a rollaway bed after a long haul flight.
When I spoke to the receptionist about why my request could not be accommodated, he said that the hotel was sold out due to a wedding. When I had booked my rooms, the hotel was showing a lot of availability. As I see it, I got a raw deal because the hotel had some wedding to cater to, and this is being a SPG Platinum member. I can only imagine the quality of service a general visitor receives.
I also tried emailing the front office manager to make my displeasure known. It has been 2 weeks since I sent out that email, and I am yet to receive a response.
All in all, my experience with this hotel was far from good. I would only reserve rooms here if I don’t find anything within a 50 mile radius.
