We were booked for 3 nights 4 days and ended up checking out early with no apology or refund. Complained about being booked on same floor and next to a high school band and the kids were up and running around at 2:30 a.m. Being obnoxious and loud on Friday night and again Saturday night. We were up until 3:30 in the morning with their chaos so we checked out ...

Our stay was not the best experience. our room stayed warm, we were told the ac was working the best it could. also, the maintenance man said some rooms were warmer than ours. He did bring us a fan to use which did help some, but was very noisy. A hot room should not have happened a Sheraton. What made it worst was it a known problem, I can't believe the maintenance man said some rooms were hotter than ours. Seems as as though this should have been while ago. We will not return to this hotel

I suppose booking the room at the last minute means you request a "King" room and get the handicapped room...which was nice but not the nice I'm used too. So, why was the cord to the refridgerator crossed over in front of the microwave and the microwave cord crossing over the refridgerator. The room I booked said I had an "pool view" what I had was the wall to the building next door with a partial view through an alley way of the pool. Will, I stay again, maybe because I've had great rooms there before.

I stayed for the third time this past weekend and am very disappointed in the level of customer service received. We stayed in a parking lot view room, as the hotel was sold out and no other rooms were available. I had some issues with booking a room that were not handled properly and housekeeping started cleaning the room early (and threw out the lunch I had in the refrigerator).
Overall, a good hotel with a great location. With improvements to customer service this would be a wonderful place to stay.

I ordered a King bed and was "upgraded" to 2 queens. My upgraded room was handicap accessible with a shorter shower (I'm tall). When I told then I had 2 beds instead they informed me I was upgraded for the view/balcony. My view was of the pool house 15 feet away. I was also told breakfast came with my room, but when I got breakfast I was told my room did not have it included. A lot of little things that reminded me this hotel wanted to overcharge me and dd not care if I never come back.

We stayed for 5 nights in an Oceanfront corner suite. The hotel was on the older side and could use some freshing up but our stay was wonderful and the staff was amazing! My husband & I were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary and the staff went out of their way to help make it wonderful. Special thanks to Jessie & Jeremy for their assistance.

The service and the hotel were really nice. I would say that it needs to have some remodeling done to it though. The showers are not that great. Everything was loose in the shower and the granite tiles have a lot of water damage. The balcony view was great and right on the water. I did notice the water wasn't as clear as it is in Miramar Beach though. It was convenient though and easy access to elevator and stairs and laundry and parking was good. The pools could use some remodeling also.

The hotel is a little older on the outside but inside is gorgeous. Stayed in the large corner coastline suite for our honeymoon, the staff was great, the room service wonderful, and the beach was beautiful. I loved the courtyard makes you feel like you could be in Hawaii, and the sunset from the room was incredible. I definitely will be going back for anniversaries.

The hotel is old and outdated. Looks like it hasn't been taken good care of or even repaired consistently. They are doing a lot of construction, there is a vacant lot next to it with razor wire around it. Can't see the beach from most of the hotel. Lots of trash in the hallways and parking lot -possibly just due to lots of people partying around the grounds. Went for a trip with the guys - if I'd been going with my wife I would have left immediately and found a new place to stay.

our stay was great and beautiful beach was pretty everything close we had one day of mix up with our room cleaning they said the girl that had our section was off and no one took her rooms so when we got back at430 we were a little upset it had not been touched but the next days it was ok.. we have been coming to four points for 20 years and will continue to do so wish the rates were not that high..but we love it so we will come back...they do need a discount for vets and seniors....

This Starwood property is classified as a category 3 and it should be re-classified as a -1. I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the common areas, hallways, entrances. Doors that are supposed to lock at night have wire-ties holding the handle open so they cannot lock. Smoking is not allowed yet there are cigarette butts by the entrance. I used points for my stay and I have stayed in other Starwood properties that were a far greater value for my money - whether points or cash.

Check in line at 4:00 was so long took over an hour to get a room. Room was not ready upon our arrival at 3:30. emailed a request to get an early check in but response was computer generated and impersonal.
Cleaning staff failed to appear until after 4:00 p.m. each day of our stay. The first day I had to check at 3:30 to ensure our room was not overlooked. I think about 4:00 was the earliest housekeeping appeared. Only received washcloths on one of the 4 days during our stay.

This hotel is in a great location but it definitely
could use some improvements. After taking baths, within minutes of walking around in the room the kids feet were black with dirt. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the heated pool. It was too cold to swim. Also, there was a charge from the restaurant on my bill that was not mine. The front desk staff took care of this promptly, but it was yet another aggravation that I didn't want to deal with on a weekend get away.

My daugher and I were visiting on Fall Break. Unfortunately my daugher was wearing a full body brace. On our second day one of the braces straps broke. Your maintenance staff came to our room and repaired her brace. He was great and so thoughtful We loved the hotel and loved it evenmore when we were moved to the ocean front rooms.

booked our week stay at the hotel as part of a large group event. The booking agents were more than accommodating to us; excellent service and communication. The rooms and grounds were very good. The wait staff in the restaurant were especially gracious; despite having a group of 200+. Cherie & Carmen were very efficient & personable. We even met Betty (the cook, and a very charming lady). Jessie, the evening wait person was also very charming and helpful.
I didn't take the time to comment to the front desk, but some of the equipment in the fitness center is in need of repairs. Not a deal breaker, but explains my grading of below expectations. Overall it is a good fitness center though.
The staff was very friendly and effective throughout our stay
The food is good and reasonable at all three on-site locations.

Aside from being a great location, right on the beach, the staff was very friendly, helpful and courteous. We tried all three restaurants and found them to be very good. The room was clean, the housekeeping staff was like "johnny on the spot", anything we asked for was delivered within a few minutes. It was one of my favorite hotels to stay in - I loved it and so did my husband. Fantastic, Great - go for it! You will love it! GREAT BED! TALK ABOUT COMFORT! THIS WAS IT!

Last year I rated this hotel so-so. Their older section looks from the 1950's with several coats of paint on the walls. It is what it is...
This trip, the 1st room I was in was in the old section on the 1st floor. It was easy to hear every foot step coming from above. Also the updated bathroom did not include an updated tub. There was a 50 cent rubber stopper (photo available) for tub baths.
The 2nd room we were moved to was upstairs in the old section. It was quieter. But we found a used bar of soap in the bath room in the shower. Sick. When housekeeping came I specifically ask for them to remove it, they did not. I asked my wife for Luminal to look at the sheets. Unfortunately she did not pack it. It was a short stay so we did not make an issue.
Came here for the SPG points and found it is not worth it. Stay somewhere else.

We were very pleased with our four night stay during Spring Break this year. We had a beach front room that was clean and spacious. The parking benefit underneath the building was an unexpected surprise! Service was outstanding everywhere on the property (eg. housekeeping, Kiwi's, front desk, etc.). I thought the front desk handled the crush of guests (all wanting to check-in at exactly 3:00pm) with great professionalism and efficiency. We will definitely be back again!

I have now stayed at this hotel two times and was impressed with each stay. My only concern was that it looked like mold was growing on the ceiling. This needs to be looked into. Otherwise, great place!!

I came down again for business on a Sunday and we had gotten upgraded to a beachside room, which was wonderful! As always, we love the breakfast, because we get to see Sherry, our favorite waitress. There was one thing I didn't care for, and that was not having the individual yogurts and more individual cereals. Dispensing the cereal from containers is not appeasing to me. All other things aside the experience was excellent. In fact I am staying there this week!

The hotel had an amazing location. I had requested a high floor at reservation wanting a king room but at check-in was told there was a wedding and I was giving a double room on the 3rd floor. I was still happy with my view and with airforce son being in and out, he used the extra bed. My favorite place was the Tiki Bar and grill. The bar tender always remembered my name and the atmosphere was great. Especially loved Kiwi (the cat... she loved for me to pet her).

This hotel is a perfect choice for families or couples looking for a reasonably priced, quiet, beach-front property away from college spring-breakers. If the beach isn't for you, there are also 2 pools from which to choose (both are outside and only one is heated - not an issue unless it is cold or stormy). If it's too cold to swim, an upscale shopping mall, movie theatre, bowling, mini golf, horseback riding, the Blue Angels and more are an easy drive away.

This is my first time stay at four points hotel. The location is great but definately is misleading. By spending 10,000 point per night and the picture of the hotel is four stories tall but the room assigned is two story (motel 6 like) no elevator, bed make noise, shower dirty,...Very disappointed. I planned to stay two nights and have to cancel one night. I believe you pay what you get but for 10,000 points I can stay at Westin with great comfort!

This is a great hotel with a fantastic staff. This Four Points property has great pools, beaches, and very nice clean rooms. It’s close to dining, night life, and family attractions. The management staff is a perfect example of what customer service should be and what guests expect from a resort hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for a vacation, business stay, or whatever your need maybe.

Locations is good - pool area and rear deck areas are outstanding - rooms are average - bathroom renovations are poorly conceived and bathrooms are too small - checkin was HORRIBLE - two young ladies one of which could not or would not stay off of the telephone. - No staff people willing to help them.
MY group will return as will I - there is little you can do now about the bathrooms,because you missed your chance in the renovations - bad decision.

I was extremely upset and inconvenienced that the building I stayed in did not have an elevator. I was on the 2nd floor and had a suitcase and a rolling laptop bag that I had to carry by hand up a flight of stairs. I truly expected a lot more from your facility in regards to this. The other aspects of my stay were good. Please look into getting an elevator for every building on your property for the convenience and satisfaction of your guests.
