I was staying here on business. The hotel is clean and although, I was told my room was upgraded, I feel the hotel room was a little dated. The bed was extremely comfortable, the location was perfect for me and I was able to relax after work. I'm glad there was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room, I guess that was the upgrade but it was a nice feature. The gym was a nice bonus. There is a pool and spa, looks nice. Hotel staff is very friendly and will do their best to accommodate you. I will stay again when in the Bakersfield area.

Tired décor, tired cleaning staff, noisy hallway, only average food and bed, filthy carpet. Not an enjoyable stay. This hotel really needs a makeover!!!

I had asked For a first floor room and received it, but they put me in a short hallway that is my wife and I. The location was horrible as there were two double doors right next-door room and another 30 feet away and by 5:30 AM everybody leaving used those doors and they slammed again and again and again. We had gotten in late and desperately needed sleep as we were on our way to a wedding the next morning. Very very unhappy with the location.

The room my husband and I were assigned was very cool in the evening. I spoke with a gentleman at the front desk and he had someone regulate the system to provide more comfort in our room.
Our room didn't have a microwave as the online hotel information stated.

This was the first SPG property I stayed at which prompted me to join the SPG program. I was in Bakersfield on business and this was a good option for business travel. .

Needed a hotel for unexpected stay, and the Four Points Bakersfield did not disappoint. Guest rooms were clean, staff was very attentive, and while we only stayed overnight, I would not hesitate to return to this property if returning to this area.
