Rated 4 out of 5 by I liked the pool area and the surrounding grounds. I did not like turning a corner in the hallway and being surprised by a collie sized dog even though the owner had him on a leash. It would have been better if I had known that animals were staying at the hotel. Another thing, even though my stay was good, a travelling companion that stayed in another room was not. She had all kinds of trouble with her room, some of which were taken care of. There was a problem with the toilet and room did not smell fresh. October 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Above and beyond!! Due to the state of emergency declared in VA, I had to make a short notice travel schedule change. Monica F. went above and beyond to accommodate me and my schedule. I am sooo appreciative and thankful. It is employees like her and Denise W. who are the reason that I am and will always be loyal to the SPG brand and this specific hotel in particular. They treat me like family. Thank you Monica F!!! You made a stressful day wayyy less stressful! October 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pleasant surprise Staff was so friendly. Bonnie and Joann went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The wed night brew and barbecue was a delicious and an unexpected surprise. We have never stayed in a four points before, but will look for them from now on. September 11, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by Saved by a well trained desk clerk I had some problems when arriving in my room. I found a dirty diaper in the room and then had problems reaching room service. I was upset and the desk clerk (Jose from San Juan) went out of his way to take care of the situation and made sure I was pleased. As a professor of management I must compliment them as Jose was obviously well trained in customer service. Without his intervation my stay would have started on a sour note and likely lead to a much less satisfactory stay. José deserves a large pat on the back. I am positive that without his intervention I would probably not choose this hotel again. Because of him I look forward to staying with you again. Scott J.
