We stayed at this hotel to attend a conference at the convention center as it was on the recommended list by the convention center. I have stayed at many business hotels and this one was rundown, dirty, and not pleasant. The room's floor was dirty, and when we told the front desk to make sure it was vacuumed, there was no difference when we returned. The water in the tub did not drain. The A/C knob was broken and therefore we could not turn the knob. The coffee maker in the room smelled of mildew. The free Wi-Fi was terrible and I could not do any work from the room.
The only plus was that the bar staff was good. That is it.

Hotel has comfortable beds, quiet rooms and great location to airport and transit. Pool and fitness center large. Only problem during stay was room not getting serviced one day so returned to room after midnight to our pile of dirty towels, unemptied garbage cans and no refills of cups, coffee supplies. Towels were brought up to us, but in the morning discovered they were all bathmats. Large group of high schoolers during the weekend which depleted the pool towels - piles of wet towels everywhere!

Rated 1 out of 5 by EpicGLS The Hotel did not meet my needs for a long stay.
While at the Hotel for a 3 week stay, i was told at first we would not have a fridge in our groups rooms, only to find out over half did. When i asked the Hotel clerk then, she denied telling me that we did not have a fridge in our rooms. She told me i could get one on June 23rd, the day of my checkout, and smirked at me. I have also had to ask twice now in 13 days to clean my room, i should not have to ask to have my room cleaned. When my room is cleaned, i have found long hair on the carpet, when my hair is very short. This detail leaves me to think my room is not clean. I have had several issues with staff where i am told one thing and told then that i was not told that so must not be telling the truth. Never have i been treated like this by a Hotel. I will not stay at this location again and will also make note to my company that they look at other locations for our stay.

Pros: Room was fairly clean, beds were comfortable, very convenient to the airport
Cons: Bathroom door didn't shut, pay-per view movies didn't work (no sound), elevator smelled like melting plastic (not a good sign), hotel staff was rude
Bottom Line-
Would not stay here again

Rated 4 out of 5 by asholiday Pretty good for an overnight stopover.
Easy to get the free shuttle bus from the International arrival terminal 5 outside entrance E.
Arrived at the hotel late at night due to a delayed flight. We had booked a room with 2 queen beds so it was a little odd when they gave us a room with 1 king bed. (4 people standing at the check in desk!)
Anyway, after a phone call, reception sent somebody up with the key to our new room which had 2 beds. I usually find Sheraton beds very comfortable and this hotel was no exception.
Breakfast in the Mirage is a hearty affair, the service is good, although the restaurant looks like it might need a 'refresh' soon. Free wifi in your room.
Pretty good for an overnight stopover.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mayflower Location and transportation are great
Because the transportation is good, so I will stay here again, that's why I write the review to help them. One of the staff in breakfast time was not very nice and less patient . No smile at all, it made me uncomfortable with my breakfast. Be professional, please.
The bathtub was dirty, looks like no cleaner works at least very long time. And the room was very noisy when people walk down the hallway, just like walkthrough my room.
Shuttle drivers are kindly and very helpful.
Front desk made me unhappy with check in an young couple who were later coming than my family.
Pool was dirty, I understand they have on lifeguard on duty, but I do not understand no any staff at pool, it was dirty than motel standard.
Coffer appliance is not very clean

I really like this hotel. Nice room, clean and comfortable. One needs-improvement is that the staff at the check in desk needs to be more friendly and welcoming to their incoming guests.

I booked this hotel for my sister's weekend getaway we never been to Chicago but we didnt want to be bother by the busy city. This hotel was great it was close enough to the city but away at the same time. The hotel staff was wonderful and the room was great! Everyone was very helpful check in was easy and check out. We really enjoyed our stay . The hotel shuttle to the train station was great they came right on time ! We LOVED it ! I would recommend this hotel. Please check it out and see for yourself. We will be back to visit! Thank you,
