Rated 3 out of 5 by Great Hotel - One Disturbing Event The Four Points met or exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms were very clean, the beds super comfortable, water pressure forceful and the breakfast was delicious. The 24 hr. airport shuttle was efficient. We were not recognized for our Gold status at check in which was a little disappointing. The event implied in my title had to do with a false alarm at 1:30 am. The alarm, warning voice and strobes are only located in the hallway. Had my partner not had difficulty falling asleep, we would not have heard them. I hate to think what might have happened if there was a real fire and we were both sound asleep. I cannot believe this meets fire code! April 15, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by fine for a night I stayed here for one night on Dec.28 while visiting Chicago. The room was clean but shows some wear. Overall the room is satisfactory for a stay. The hotel is near the airport and it would be good for someone who wants to visit Chicago without staying in an expensive downtown hotel. Subway ride is only 45 minutes away and very cheap at 2.25$. The staff that greeted me was ok. Professional but not very friendly. The second person I encountered was very nice and offered great advice about visiting Chicago. My dog was welcome also without extra fees. The hotel advertised a free bottle of water but I never got one in my room. January 1, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty good for an overnight stopover. Easy to get the free shuttle bus from the International arrival terminal 5 outside entrance E. Arrived at the hotel late at night due to a delayed flight. We had booked a room with 2 queen beds so it was a little odd when they gave us a room with 1 king bed. (4 people standing at the check in desk!) Anyway, after a phone call, reception sent somebody up with the key to our new room which had 2 beds. I usually find Sheraton beds very comfortable and this hotel was no exception. Breakfast in the Mirage is a hearty affair, the service is good, although the restaurant looks like it might need a 'refresh' soon. Free wifi in your room. Pretty good for an overnight stopover. Rated 4 out of 5 by Pleasantly surprised I normally refuse to stay at an "airport" hotel but I was really surprised by how nice this 4 points was. In fact, I thought it was a real step above other 4 points. First of all, it was recently renovated and all the public areas were very nicely decorated. The restaurant food was pretty good (for a hotel!) and the room was a good size, the beds were super comfy, TV nice, lots of outlets. But the best part was how QUIET it was. I was so worried about not being able to sleep due to plane noise but I not only didn't hear planes, I didn't even hear a door in the hall slam. The front desk was extremely pleasant. June 8, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by heating system the heater would not respond to the controller on the wall. Temperature was 79 degrees in the room. Shutting the unit off did not stop it from running all night. Fan is extremely loud. Between the heat and loud fan, I did not sleep. I complained to thee front desk and they didn't seem to care. January 24, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Staff Attentive I will say this place has come a long way since I first stayed there a couple years ago. It was shortly after it became a Four Points that I had my first out of Sheraton experience. I was scared. But now, the place has turned into a hotel with renovaotions to the public areas, it is more welcoming. I had a couple issues with the room (mechanical in nature), unfortunately. Although somewhat irritating when I just want to check in, lay in that wonderful bed and dream my cares away, but the staff was very attentive and quick to remedy whether it was a quick fix or a room move. Rated 5 out of 5 by Four Points O'Hare My husband and I have stayed at Four Points Chicago O'Hare three times now when we have flown out of the airport. Each time we have had a consistently good experience. Staff is friendly and attentive; restaurant served great food for dinner; rooms are big; beds and pillows are comfy. If you stay here, you may wish to request a room on the opposite side of the airport if you are a light sleeper. It's by no means terrible, but if you sleep light like my husband, you will want to make this request. December 24, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed with inconveniences I arrived late after a long flight and business meeting. I had to wake up really early (5AM) to catch my flight home. The walls must be really thin because I was kept awake by the room next door laughing and conversing till almost midnight (in normal voices). It kept me awake. Early in the morning there was some sort of power outage, I couldn't get any of the lights in my room to turn on bright enough to get ready (makeup & Hair). Elevator was also not working so I had to come down, back up (forgotten item) and back down 7 flights of stairs. Not a great stay. November 8, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by needs improvement Our hotel room was extremely comfortable and clean. The hotel staff that checked us in was not very welcoming or friendly. We attempted to use the swimming pool and excercise area, but it was not the least bit clean or supervised in any way. People were drinking bottles of whiskey and beer in the pool area. All of the pool towels were dirty and in a huge piled up area near the excercise room door. The computers that were available had no time limit posted, and several children were using the computers unsupervised. We were not able to get access to a computer for business. August 1, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dining at the Mirage I have been staying at this establishment for over five years. What stands out among the other Starwood properties at O'Hare? The bar manager, Nick. He has been at the helm of the bar since I first chose this hotel and he makes it remain perfect. He never forgets a name, a face, and is that mix of sweet and salty that is so good for a bar atmosphere. As a Starwood member for years, Nick makes the hotel special in a sea of business stays. He is that brand ambassador every business wants and you hope to find at every stay. Thank you Nick! You are the very best. Robin August 11, 2013

Welcoming and friendly staff, and great free shuttle service to and from the airport. The walls were even thick enough to almost completely drown out the noise of the couple next door. Rated 3 out of 5 by Our Stay We have stayed at this hotel in the past as we like to come out to watch a Cubs game at least once per year. It has always been clean and friendly but that has changed over the last 2 years. The rooms need updated and cleaned. We had wiring hanging out of the bottom of our AC unit. The "lovely view" from our second floor room was the catch all junk collection area for the hotel. They did not even recognize us as SPG members. The only nice thing was that the beds were comfortable as usual. We will start staying at the Sheraton in Rosemont from now on. September 3, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Location and transportation are great Because the transportation is good, so I will stay here again, that's why I write the review to help them. One of the staff in breakfast time was not very nice and less patient . No smile at all, it made me uncomfortable with my breakfast. Be professional, please. The bathtub was dirty, looks like no cleaner works at least very long time. And the room was very noisy when people walk down the hallway, just like walkthrough my room. Shuttle drivers are kindly and very helpful. Front desk made me unhappy with check in an young couple who were later coming than my family. Pool was dirty, I understand they have on lifeguard on duty, but I do not understand no any staff at pool, it was dirty than motel standard. Coffer appliance is not very clean May 27, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by SPG Plat status not recoginized 1 SPG level was not recognized until I mentioned. When I asked for breakfast upon check in, the front desk lady told me it's not complementary. Then I told her I am a Platinum member and she admitted her fault and gave me the voucher. 2 The label on the air conditioner asks guest to use the thermostat on the wall. But my Thermostat didn't work. Then I called the guest service. The maintenance staff came and checked the AC. He told me I still need to use the control on the AC even it says to use the thermostat on the wall. Very confusing! September 14, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Check in was a breeze After arriving later than we anticipated we were surprsed to find that our reservation did not include overnight parking for the week. After hearing the person before us being told that the parking lot was full we were shocked. My thoughts, that what I get for booking on the internet. The young lady who checked us in explained that we could add parking to our reservation and in the morning before our flight would leave there would be space in the protected parking.area. How helpful and kind she was to ease our minds. Thank you! February 6, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad Service = Four Points by Sherton I was thinking that the Sheraton offered good customer service and comfortable sleep with helpful staff. I was so very, very wrong. I got married at the four points by Sheraton and the staff had a nasty attitude, at the front desk with cheesy smiles that they have to put on. In addition, when I asked for the front desk manger they pointed at someone wearing jeans came from the back looking half-asleep. The heating unit in the room made a wheezing noise that would be acceptable from the motel in a middle of an abandoned city. February 18, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Hotel Not up to SPG standards It appears nice when you walk in the door, but once past the front you soon realizie the hotel is old and needs updated. Did a park and stay and the parking lot was very dim and unkept and parking stall small. I was told to enter the back door as it would be open. Tried 3 doors and finally had to call. They sent security back and ended up having to kick the door open. Not kept up well at all. The elevator was out of order and had to walk a distance. This is suppose to be a airport hotel-not impressed!! October 20, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Enjoyable stay Hotel has comfortable beds, quiet rooms and great location to airport and transit. Pool and fitness center large. Only problem during stay was room not getting serviced one day so returned to room after midnight to our pile of dirty towels, unemptied garbage cans and no refills of cups, coffee supplies. Towels were brought up to us, but in the morning discovered they were all bathmats. Large group of high schoolers during the weekend which depleted the pool towels - piles of wet towels everywhere! Rated 3 out of 5 by Quick stay before flight One night stay prior to flight.. Shuttle driver was the best I have ever had. Warm and welcoming. Easy check in .Room was spotless and bed was the usual Sheraton fabulous! The room was VERY , VERY small. Would be better to put in smalller desk and chair. Good soup and sandwich from room service and didn't have lots of erxtra charges like many room service deliverys do. Large hotel and didn't seem very busy, but my room was Very far from lobby. Good value and comfortable stay. Would come back again April 21, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Señor Our room was very small and cramped with no microwave nor refrigerator. My wife needed these for her medication, so we just left i in the car in an insulated bag. The bathroom was the size of our half bath in our basement at home. No counter space.. Usually when we stay at this hotel accomodations are great- not this time. December 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for Park n Stay package at ORD We chose this hotel because it was an SPG property and because it offered good shuttle schedule to/from O'Hare and a better location than other hotels with less expensive room rates. We were not disappointed. The shuttle service was prompt and courteous, the room was perfect for our 1-night stay, the parking was easy (13 nights allowed with 1 night stay), the restaurant served a very good breakfast. Only negative was carpet in the public areas that probably needs to be replaced. August 16, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by My Experience Hair in bath tub in the room, I stayed in. No Kleenex in room. When, I asked the housekeeper if there was any one of male hourly employees gave me a box, but then responded that, to call room service. Remote for TV batteries were dead. Finally no one offered to help me with my luggage. I am 70 years old had three pieces of luggage and had to lift and place them on luggage cart. Hotel was drafty. Staff in restaurant very good, food as well. Loved the free shuttle to and from airport. January 1, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not happy I was really disappointed in this hotel. Using the pool was terrible. Too much chlorine was put in the pool causing my son's eyes to burn. The hotel bathroom didnt have some of what it is suppose to have such as conditioner for your hair or even soap for a shower. I had lost the diamond out of my ring and when I went to the front desk, they acted like they didn't even care. Very cold towards me. We did find my diamond after all, but I felt like they just ignored me. April 18, 2013
