Rated 5 out of 5 by Good location and cost The beds were really comfortable. The access to downtown Chicago was so easy. For the cost this was a very nice hotel and staff was friendly. Only thing it needed was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. For the cost, this was a good deal. November 8, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by The Four Points provided warmth during a storm. We checked into the Four Points the night before our O'Hare flight; it's been our home away from home for several years. It was snowing that night with 12 inches expected and severe cold and winds to follow, so no surprise our flight was cancelled. The woman at the desk held our room while we headed to the airport and found out we'd have to wait 4 days before we could begin our vacation. Upon returning to the Four Points, we were given our room for which we used Star Points. With so many people having to cancel their trips or sleep at the airport, we were warm with a comfy bed, free WiFi. hot water for showers, a great restaurant and fabulous staff. January 29, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed I made a reservation at Four Points after calling the Sheraton reservation hotline. I was told I would be very happy with our stay. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We got back late in the evening from our long international flight. We were told to call the hotel and that the shuttle would be there promptly. After over a half hour of waiting, I called again, and was told the shuttle would be there in "two minutes." Several minutes later the shuttle did indeed arrive, but the driver simply opened the doors, remained seated (despite our many heavy bags) and said absolutely nothing to us. After nearly hurting my back getting my suitcase up the stairs, the driver still said nothing and dropped us off, still not getting up or offering any help. We checked in, exhausted, and our room smelled like smoke. Although checking in at 1:30 AM due to our late flight, the cleaning service loudly knocked on our door shortly after 8 AM. After the rude awakening, we went to take a shower to find their was only one towel. Overall, our experience was quite unsatisfactory and we will certainly never be staying at the Four Points again. Rated 3 out of 5 by Stayed 7 days Gauda was wonderful and accomodating at all times. However, 2 other front desk people were not happy at their jobs. Most of the people in the restaurant were great, but one lady was tremendously rude to myself and another that stayed there because we asked her for our carry out after waiting for over 10 minutes with noone at all asking if they could help us. Our food was sitting on the side where the cakes are getting cold. Also, a shuttle to a nearby restaurant never showed up after 90 minutes of waiting my first night there. Lastly, the internet system was terrible and the business computers where old with a broken printer. I may stay again but I hope these things are improved. The bar was nice, the beds were comfortable. Thank you. April 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Home from home I've been staying at this hotel since 2010 whenever I'm in Chicago and I keep going back. It's not just that it's super convenient for my work location, there are lots of hotels I could actually choose from. But this Four Points Sheraton has very special people working in it and everybody is really helpful and friendly. It's not just professional expertise, but it's good old fashioned high class service and terrific genuine friendliness along with it. The staff are extremely pleasant, there is a real camaraderie, a true caring for the guests, and a wholesome and pleasant feeling about staying there. The Mirage restaurant is fantastic. Not just the excellent food, the high cuisine standards and excellent chefs, with great menu choices, but the restaurant staff are so awesomely friendly. It is literally home from home and I love every minute of my stay in the Four Points ! Do not miss the opportunity to experience this wonderful hotel ! May 11, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Use if you want parking We stayed at this hotel the first night (April 25, 2014) to take advantage of the 2 weeks of free parking. The deal was great but the room not so much. The toilet wouldn't stop flushing (we had to keep taking the lid off the back of the toilet to stop the flushing) and the room was somewhat noisy, so we decided to go to the airport that night instead of the next morning. The second time we stayed (May 9), our room was equally unimpressive. The toilet was installed askew, as was the light switch. The bath tub enamel was all chipped. The internet also didn't work in spite of trying on several different devices over a period of an hour. We left after a few hours. The saving grace was the fantastic front desk service. In both cases, the front desk clerks who checked us in (the second time was Lisa) were outstanding at customer service. I would recommend this hotel for the great parking deal (and fabulous front desk clerks) as I could not recommend the rooms. May 11, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great Hotel - One Disturbing Event The Four Points met or exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms were very clean, the beds super comfortable, water pressure forceful and the breakfast was delicious. The 24 hr. airport shuttle was efficient. We were not recognized for our Gold status at check in which was a little disappointing. The event implied in my title had to do with a false alarm at 1:30 am. The alarm, warning voice and strobes are only located in the hallway. Had my partner not had difficulty falling asleep, we would not have heard them. I hate to think what might have happened if there was a real fire and we were both sound asleep. I cannot believe this meets fire code! April 15, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Shuttle service was horrible Hotel is starting to show some wear and tear, but still a good value for $$ spent. However, we were very disappointed when our shuttle driver never showed up after waiting an hour upon return at international terminal on a Monday night at 11pm. We ended up taking a taxi back to the hotel (we were reimbursed for this). We had a 3hour drive ahead of us at midnight to get home for a death in the family after only spending 1 1/2 days at our resort in Huatulco, Mexico, so this was a very frustrating turn of events at the end of a couple of very depressing days. Rated 3 out of 5 by fine for a night I stayed here for one night on Dec.28 while visiting Chicago. The room was clean but shows some wear. Overall the room is satisfactory for a stay. The hotel is near the airport and it would be good for someone who wants to visit Chicago without staying in an expensive downtown hotel. Subway ride is only 45 minutes away and very cheap at 2.25$. The staff that greeted me was ok. Professional but not very friendly. The second person I encountered was very nice and offered great advice about visiting Chicago. My dog was welcome also without extra fees. The hotel advertised a free bottle of water but I never got one in my room. January 1, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sheraton Chicago Sheraton Chicago needs an overhaul. The staff however was outstanding and welcoming and very good at what they did. The housekeeping staff was pleasant. The front desk staff was helpful and warm. The servers in the bar/restaurant were excellent. Customer service is NOT the area that Sheraton Chicago needs. It needs a make over. It needs cleaner bathrooms. The bedding was satisfactory and clean. Everything is dated and dingy. I know there was trouble in the front desk waiting area with leaks but that really didn't bother me. It was the actually cleanliness or lack there of. If this place could get a complete update and makeover....there is no stopping me from recommending this place. February 19, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by not satisfied at all This hotel needs to be renovated. Bathroom tub chipped and shower didn't work. rugs very worn and needed to ce cleaned. Front desk staff not helpful or friendly. Parking lot full and had to park very far from front entrance to hotel. I'm a trave agent and wouldn't book anyone at this hotel. May 5, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Lack of Quality We checked in everything was fine. Hotel is dated but acceptable. Room was ok but some housekeeping details were completely lacking. First the tub had lots of hair left over from someone else. There was a clumped of hair stuck to the shower curtain. Counter in bathroom was not very clean. These two items themselves give you that yuck I don't want to use these item feelings. Clock in room was well over an hour off. Phone was not working. Had to walk to lobby to order room service. They gave us a new room but the walls are so thin that a normal cell phone call in the next room was easily over heard. Sorry I'm a SPG Gold member and this hotel did not meet the SPG standards. Attention to detail is a key to success and this hotel failed in this regard. Thanks Gary April 11, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty good for an overnight stopover. Easy to get the free shuttle bus from the International arrival terminal 5 outside entrance E. Arrived at the hotel late at night due to a delayed flight. We had booked a room with 2 queen beds so it was a little odd when they gave us a room with 1 king bed. (4 people standing at the check in desk!) Anyway, after a phone call, reception sent somebody up with the key to our new room which had 2 beds. I usually find Sheraton beds very comfortable and this hotel was no exception. Breakfast in the Mirage is a hearty affair, the service is good, although the restaurant looks like it might need a 'refresh' soon. Free wifi in your room. Pretty good for an overnight stopover. Rated 4 out of 5 by Pleasantly surprised I normally refuse to stay at an "airport" hotel but I was really surprised by how nice this 4 points was. In fact, I thought it was a real step above other 4 points. First of all, it was recently renovated and all the public areas were very nicely decorated. The restaurant food was pretty good (for a hotel!) and the room was a good size, the beds were super comfy, TV nice, lots of outlets. But the best part was how QUIET it was. I was so worried about not being able to sleep due to plane noise but I not only didn't hear planes, I didn't even hear a door in the hall slam. The front desk was extremely pleasant. June 8, 2012
