The room was great but the staff during our stay was disappointing. I called Saturday morning and asked for early check-in. Mary told me I could check in at 1:00PM. We got there and then she said no we couldn't check in till 2:00PM. We would have NEVER got there at 1:00PM if the room wasn't going to be ready. She also gave me attitude when checking me in. Poor customer service skills.

Room was filthy, there was old food and opened soda in the refrigerator. Only one towel, a rag. I took a picture of the maids cart with clean, but unwrapped cups and a dirty duster handing over the cups.The carpet was absolutely filthy and there were piles of dishes next to the elevator all day and next morning.Sheets did not fit on the bed and came off during the night. We usually stay here as the park and fly feature is very convenient. Unfortunately, on our most recent stay in July, the air conditioning in the room was not working. We did not realize this until we were in bed trying to sleep before a 4am wakeup. We let the staff know in the am. The staff at this hotel are very considerate. The facilities could use updating.

Hotel was a good deal for staying near the airport for an early morning departure. It is a littler father from the airport than I had expected but the shuttle to the airport takes about 10 minutes and runs every 20 min.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bobby77 shuttle service to/from Airport is very convenient
Primary reason for selecting this hotel is closeness to airport and requiring to park 14 days . Shutlle service is quick, parking is secure and convenient. I was able to manage two toddlers easily for my overseas trip by staying here. Ordered pizza and room service was quick. Room & beds were neat & comfy. There is no complimentary breakfast/food but I would stilll prefer this hotel.

The Four Points needs much improvement. Where shall I start? 1) The keys didn't work 100% of the time. We had to have them reset twice. 2) The hallway leading to our room smelled like an elevator shaft and we were a long way from the elevator. 3) The elevator itself (1) was painfully slow. I began to use the stairs and our room was on the 7th floor. We felt sorry for housekeeping who had to use this one elevator to get from floor to floor. 4) All of the outlets in the room were on one side of the bed. The other side had none. The coffee pot had to be moved to the outlet. 5) The wallpaper by the window was bubbled and coming off the wall. The carpet was stained throughout the hallway. 6) While our room was clean, housekeeping skipped our room one day.
The only redeeming factor about this room was that the room itself was clean.
This hotel falls far below Starwood standards. We would not recommend this hotel.

Staff at the hotel and bar/restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little dated and needs some updating, but if you don't care so much about that, the rooms were clean and the beds are great, with more pillows than you'll know what to do with. Great for Park/Sleep/Fly.

Redesigned rooms great, very modern. Comfy beds great. Old, noisy wall heaters not great. Kept me awake at night. The on-premise restaurant (Mirage) great. Very impressed with menu and staff. Parking experience great. Airport shuttle drivers great. Only stayed one night, and it would have been nice to get in the hot tub after our 9:30pm arrival, but pool closes early on Friday.

Upon entering the hotel, we had to park in a fairly shady back lot. The hotel looked dated throughout and there was only one, slow elevator in service. Although the hotel had a bit of a grungy feel, once entering the room, it was fine. Comfortable bed, relatively clean, etc. Nice staff and clean room made the stay fair, but the rest of the hotel is in dire need of an update.

This hotel is one of the worst SPG hotels I've stayed at. Front desk personnel could not be bothered answering a question such as "how do I get to xyz?" There were boxes strewn throughout the hallway, the carpets are disgustingly dirty (spillage), the walls haven't been cleaned in years. Just overall a really poor stay. Definitely would NOT recommend this hotel.

Got into the room and there was still hair in the sink and shower from the previous guest and used soap in the shower. Not what you really want to see...
Also, was quoted a one rate and charged another at check out.
Other than that, staff was very nice and hotel was convenient for an early morning flight.

Ok hotel, older and need of a re-fresh. Price was very good but I would have paid a bit more if it was nicer. Hotel is dated, elevators smell and are slow. Can hear airplanes all night. Room was ok, but needed towels the second night. Restaurant was very good actually. Nice touch for a great location. It was very convenient, but not up to Sheraton standards.

We attended a reception at Four Points and stayed in the hotel - everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. The service was great. The food was good too at the reception and in the hotel restaurant - THANK YOU!!!!

my room had water demage on ceiling, drywall and wallpaper coming off on that area too. Hallways need brighter lights. Worn out bed cover. Restaurant pizza looked and tasted like frozen pizza, very bad. Philly cheese steak sandwich was made with deli meat and mozzarella cheese, very dissappointing. Very scary for the kids how the pool drops from 5ft to 9ft

We have stayed at 4 Points for many years and 2 weeks prior our room was excellent and very nice. The room on our return trip fell below expectations. No hair dryer in room - lamp had obviously been knocked over and bent as the shade was tilted - no extra outlets for recharging phones etc. You could tell the room had been half way updated - bedding only

Well positioned hotel in good proximity to the airport. Room was nice and could tell that there was a recent refurbishment involved. Although, the bathroom had some wear and tear. My full expectations for a SPG hotel were a little disappointed, but can't complain about the price. The main event was the food. Outstanding food, with great prices.

This hotel is at a great location to the toll way. The room was clean, bed was very comfortable, pillows were to soft I had to have 2 under my head, room temperature was wonderful. Pool area was very clean and water was at a great temperature for swimming and relaxing. Restaurant in the hotel was very good and the service was fast and friendly.

This hotel has seen better days. The lobby is OK, but room 422 was a maintenance nightmare. Outdated decor, unpleasant odor, discolored and water damaged wallpaper. Parking lot views are like a scene from third world. Avoid if at all possible.
On the bright side, bathroom was clean and acceptable, and the airport shuttle was efficient.

As you notice from my review title, it was my first ever hotel stay in Chicago. The hotel was a success. I had no problems with anything. I had excellent room service ordering food and it was everything is what I expected and couldn't and wouldn't ask for nothing else out of Four Points Sheraton. I'll be coming back someday soon.

My friend and I went on a weekend trip to Chicago, and were nervous about staying so far away from the city. Our first night the manager, Arun exceeded all my expectations of being helpful to us. He told us all of the places to go, how to get there, and where not to go, and even drove us to the city. Thanks Arun for your help!!!

This hotel is a tired, half-renovated something. It is far away from everything; the restaurant is mediocre at best. Bed was good, but everything else is not. I would say to Starwood - either renovate it or close it. Pick One. I love Starwood and their hotels, but this is not a reflection of what Starwood is-it is a black eye.

location is a bit ackward, but the place is fine. the rooms are a bit dated, but clean. for business travel this is great.... for a family holiday, maybe not. they need a second entrence from Mannhiem which is there just not marked...go to BP and drive around new parking lot

The best part of the hotel is the restaurant and bar. The pillows on the bed were awful and the shower curtain was moldy. Otherwise, the room was comfortable and appeared clean. I am a platnum member and told I was upgraded--which was not true. I will only stay at this hotel when it is the only one available by the hotel.

Our one night stay was a great experience. Hotel accommodation were very good - everything was maintained very well. Staff was outstanding - front desk personnel, shuttle drivers, restaurant and housekeeping couldn't have been better. Friendly and did everything possible to meet our needs. Thank you for a great stay.

The initial room I was given was not FIT for anyone to stay - there was an obvious smell upon opening the door (which by the way was stuck) and should not have been offered to anyone. When I returned to the front desk, it was resolved immediately, however, the incident should not have happened to a guest.

The location off a very busy street where a u turn is needed is not good.it is comfortable for a business trip or one night stay and then flying while they keep your car. The resturant/bar was ok.
I would stay again and recommend for the business traveller or staying to catch an early flight form o'hare airport

I didn't expect the hotel to be this dated. However, clean the rooms have had some renovation, but that is it! The staff really didn't care about your starwood status- they just answered with "no" most of the time, in fact the sign on the desk was the only starwood-esque thing about this hotel. I won't be back.

Our stay was great. The staff was very pleasant and all details of our stay was handled efficientlly. The bar had comp o'dourves and the restaurant had a good menu and very good wait staff. The hotel is older but our room was updated nicely. The shuttle was perfect. Very happy with the entire stay.

We were assigned room 140. About 15 minutes after moving our bags in and soing some unpacking, we saw 4 small ants - in about a 5 minute period. We asked to be moved and were assigned room 127. We saw no ants there. But, it was a hardship having to repack and move all our luggage to the 2nd room..
