Rated 4 out of 5 by Great food. Well positioned hotel in good proximity to the airport. Room was nice and could tell that there was a recent refurbishment involved. Although, the bathroom had some wear and tear. My full expectations for a SPG hotel were a little disappointed, but can't complain about the price. The main event was the food. Rated 1 out of 5 by shopworn This hotel has seen better days. The lobby is OK, but room 422 was a maintenance nightmare. Outdated decor, unpleasant odor, discolored and water damaged wallpaper. Parking lot views are like a scene from third world. Avoid if at all possible. On the bright side, bathroom was clean and acceptable, and the airport shuttle was efficient. April 29, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by First Hotel Stay In Chicago As you notice from my review title, it was my first ever hotel stay in Chicago. The hotel was a success. I had no problems with anything. I had excellent room service ordering food and it was everything is what I expected and couldn't and wouldn't ask for nothing else out of Four Points Sheraton. I'll be coming back someday soon. Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice with a few exceptions Got into the room and there was still hair in the sink and shower from the previous guest and used soap in the shower. Not what you really want to see... Also, was quoted a one rate and charged another at check out. Other than that, staff was very nice and hotel was convenient for an early morning flight. Rated 4 out of 5 by Good hotel for flying out of O'Hare Staff at the hotel and bar/restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little dated and needs some updating, but if you don't care so much about that, the rooms were clean and the beds are great, with more pillows than you'll know what to do with. Rated 5 out of 5 by Service My friend and I went on a weekend trip to Chicago, and were nervous about staying so far away from the city. Our first night the manager, Arun exceeded all my expectations of being helpful to us. He told us all of the places to go, how to get there, and where not to go, and even drove us to the city. Rated 2 out of 5 by Tired This hotel is a tired, half-renovated something. It is far away from everything; the restaurant is mediocre at best. Bed was good, but everything else is not. I would say to Starwood - either renovate it or close it. Pick One. I love Starwood and their hotels, but this is not a reflection of what Starwood is-it is a black eye. November 16, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by An Okay Hotel The best part of the hotel is the restaurant and bar. The pillows on the bed were awful and the shower curtain was moldy. Otherwise, the room was comfortable and appeared clean. I am a platnum member and told I was upgraded--which was not true. I will only stay at this hotel when it is the only one available by the hotel. June 15, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding staff! Our one night stay was a great experience. Hotel accommodation were very good - everything was maintained very well. Staff was outstanding - front desk personnel, shuttle drivers, restaurant and housekeeping couldn't have been better. Friendly and did everything possible to meet our needs. Rated 3 out of 5 by For one night and then travel, it's good The location off a very busy street where a u turn is needed is not good.it is comfortable for a business trip or one night stay and then flying while they keep your car. The resturant/bar was ok. I would stay again and recommend for the business traveller or staying to catch an early flight form o'hare airport February 14, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by WOW, missed the "mark" I didn't expect the hotel to be this dated. However, clean the rooms have had some renovation, but that is it! The staff really didn't care about your starwood status- they just answered with "no" most of the time, in fact the sign on the desk was the only starwood-esque thing about this hotel. Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel Stay was Fine The initial room I was given was not FIT for anyone to stay - there was an obvious smell upon opening the door (which by the way was stuck) and should not have been offered to anyone. When I returned to the front desk, it was resolved immediately, however, the incident should not have happened to a guest. May 27, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by very efficient Our stay was great. The staff was very pleasant and all details of our stay was handled efficientlly. The bar had comp o'dourves and the restaurant had a good menu and very good wait staff. The hotel is older but our room was updated nicely. The shuttle was perfect. Very happy with the entire stay. Rated 4 out of 5 by Ants in room We were assigned room 140. About 15 minutes after moving our bags in and soing some unpacking, we saw 4 small ants - in about a 5 minute period. We asked to be moved and were assigned room 127. We saw no ants there. But, it was a hardship having to repack and move all our luggage to the 2nd room.. February 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by nice stay, good restuarant, friendly staff location is a bit ackward, but the place is fine. the rooms are a bit dated, but clean. for business travel this is great.... for a family holiday, maybe not. they need a second entrence from Mannhiem which is there just not marked...go to BP and drive around new parking lot August 1, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not Recommended OVERALL IMPRESSION: While this hotel is conveniently located near O’hare airport, that’s about all it has going for it. It’s large, crowded and noisy. I cannot recommend this hotel. SPG RECOGNITION: n/a THE ROOM: Loved the outlets near the bed side tables. This was nice. EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS: None. DID NOT MEET EXPECTATIONS: I was given an accessible room—which was fine. However, the bathroom layout was horrible. The ceiling light fixture wasn’t near the sink or mirror, so there was insufficient lighting for getting ready in the morning. The room was located on the 1st floor and the hall traffic noise was constant throughout the night. The room was an adjoining room and while the guest next door was respectful and quite, the lack of insulation in the walls allowed me to hear him chewing ice all night long and his TV set sounded like it was in my room. I changed rooms in the middle of the night. It’s not the worst property in which I’ve stayed, but it’s definitely bottom 5. Not recommended. February 25, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by dated and cheap The room was very dated, the light switch was archaic, corners were dusty, the bathtub was old, the 'deck' was 8" wide and had peeling painted concrete as the 'view'. I was disappointed as it was not up to what I expect from a Starwood property. The staff was the only bright spot. October 18, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Outer Appearence Fooled Us The exterior of the hotel was not very eye appealing but the inside had everything essential for an airport traveler. The pool was well maintained and the staff was informative. The big downside was that the only shuttle went to the airport and back - that was it. May 20, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs attention I was attending a conference at this hotel and stayed for 2 nights. As for the conference, the staff seemed to be attentive to having the meeting rooms ready, and plenty of water and coffee throughout the day. As far as my guest room goes, there were things that needed attention. When I reported the maintenance and housekeeping issues to the front desk, the staff member seemed indifferent to what I said, and didn't appear to write down any details including the room no. The room heat often blew cold air, and might work if the thermostat was set at 80 degrees or above. When I first arrived in my room, I made coffee and noticed an opened creamer had been left by the coffeemaker. The bathroom heat lamp was not working. Having a room on the 6th floor was quiet; however another conference guest was staying on the first floor. She complained the next day that a hotel party the night before had kept her up until 3 am. Although the hotel services seem just adequate, there definitely seems to be a disconnect in management oversight. November 14, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Went Extra Mile We needed a late checkout after attending a funeral and needing to change clothes. It was granted with no reservation by desk staff. We needed about and hour more than requested and again "no problem". We were VERY impressed in our time of need. GO Sheraton!!! February 19, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Very affordable, but in need of renovations This hotel is in need of renovations. It looks very 70's once you get past the lobby. The heat in my room was not functioning properly so it was a cold night. Staff was very kind and rooms were clean. Hallways need better lighting and new carpet or flooring. December 10, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 Needs a wrecking ball Staff was generally courteous and most were helpful. Staff at Mirage Restaurant were also very good. Hotel is just way rundown and housekeeping seems to have given up on some aspects of cleaning due to the poor condition of the place overall. February 24, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Parking Loved the parking feature while we traveled. Secure lot, shuttle was their when we went to shuttle stop, so there was no waiting! The driver took us to our car in the lot. It was great. Will use this service again when we trave,! January 12, 2013
