While the staff was pleasant the room smelled of smoking and the age of the hotel was showing. With large stains in the hall carpet. I most likely will not return.

Very nice facility. The room was very comfortable. Front desk staff very friendly and accommodating. Free wi-fi throughout the hotel. I had very pleasant stay.

My family and I (total of 8) stayed at the hotel near O'Hara airport. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff were very helpful, and knowledgeable.

MY FAMILY AND I HAD A EXCEPTIONAL TIME AT THE YOUR HOTEL. FRIENDLY PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND THE POOL WAS VERY NICE AS WELL.

We were guests at this hotel for a 65th birthday in the grand ballroom... The waitstaff at the event were courteous & professional we really enjoyed the party... But that that is where the distinction ends. When we checked in to the 4 points Sheraton ohare-front desk gave us the wrong room and then told us to stay there while they locate our right room. We were attending an event so our family with kids needed to get ready and get dressed in our room. 2 hours later they still didn't move us and we were late for the event we missed cocktails but just made it for dinner. upon checking out adding insult to injury the desk was insisting on me paying the full amount even though we didn't have the deluxe room!!!! I was so irate 20 minutes later at the desk I had to show my confirmation # with what I was reserved and didn't receive...Mary was able to secure our refund so I was eventually happy but it took unreasonable amount of time and negotiating to get $24 back which they told me originally they would do since they could not find us our confirmed 2 queen room with microwave & fridge!!!! I do not recommend this hotel for overnight stay but they do have adequate facilities for an event!

A Friend and I flew to Chicago to go to a Cubs game. We checked in at 5:00PM and on the counter was posted that the pool closes at 6:00PM because of because of a wedding event at the hotel. Normally I wouldn't care, but we actually brought our swim suits and planned on watching a football game while sitting in the hot tub. Also at check in no recognition of SPG benefits at all. I knew a SPG amenity was free bottled water so instead of stopping to grab drinks I figured we would enjoy SPG gold benefits. Went to the room and no water there, I paid $1.50 to get one out of the vending machine. I guess I was supposed to ask for water at the front desk. The room was clean, comfortable and nice. Nothing spectacular, but no complaints. I didn't get the check out paper under the door so I stopped by the front counter to ask if I could get a copy and I was informed they are now emailed and not to work I had paid with points and there was no charge. I guess I am ok with that as long as I can verify that is true, but I would prefer a hard copy until i verify it online. Nothing was given to me at all. I also asked if I was supposed to be offered a gold amenity upon check-in and she said oh do you want a bottle of water This was at 5:00AM on the way to the airport. I left thinking at least the room was clean.

My fiance and I stayed here for 1 winter night and I noticed that all of the sidewalks and parking lot were not properly shoveled/salted. We had to take detours around the outside of the building to avoid snow and ice. The water in our bathroom sink would back up, then the pipes below the sink were leaking onto the bathroom floor and even outside of the bathroom causing a large wet spot on the carpeting. There was so much water at times that we had to wear shoes when entering and exiting the bathroom. Once we realized what was happening, we placed a garbage can under the sink to catch the dripping water. After an evening out we decided to try the restaurant, but on our way to the restaurant, we noticed a leaking ceiling that was dripping water into a clear bucket for all to see along with foul smelling carpet. The food at the restaurant was disappointing to say the least. The menus were clearly old and yellowing in color. The morning of our check-out the toilet was constantly flushing all the way until the time we checked out. I mentioned the leaking water twice to 2 different people at the front desk, and neither seemed to do much about it.
We will be planning a wedding for next year and we would like to have a location near the airport because we will have a lot of traveling guests This stay was a great way to experience the hotel firsthand.
