In January we stayed at a different Airport Four Points, which was wonderful. I booked this place by mistake and was very disappointed. The place was dirty and unkept. There was mold in the bathroom, and the air conditioner blew all night even when it was turned off.
I recommend that Sheraton sell this property and let it be a low level hotel. It doesn't deserve the Sheraton name.

Starwood staff are always well trained and helpful, and this is not an exception. The room quality and comfort were as expected for Four Points Sheraton. However, the common areas need updating, in particular carpets are stained, ice machine on my floor didn't work, elevators shabby. It wasn't a problem, just less than expected from Starwood.

The room was clean, staff very nice and helpful, the food in restaurant was good. The refrigerator was missing, but in general everything fully met my expectations and I was satisfied with my stay in the hotel.

Had trouble with !-800 RESERVATIONS. THEY DID NOT KEEP THE QUOTED RATE.
MET A PIOLOT IN THE TINY ELEVATOR, WE TALKED ABOUT THE TERIBLE ODOR IN THE LOBBY AND ELEVATOR. HE EXPALINED THAT THIS HOTEL IS ALWAYS UNDER CONSTRUCTION, BUT THAT IT IS CLOSE TO AIRPORT AND THEY ONLY CHARGE HIM $55.00 SINCE HE STAYS THERE OFTEN....

Nice stay for a sleepover prior to an early flight. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were friendly and helpful. The only problem was there was NO COFFEE available in the lobby until 6:00am (we took the 5:40 shuttle). For a hotel that caters to people in transit, many of them globally, it seems like there should be 24/7 coffee available, similar to the shuttle being available 24/7.

this hotel was hard to locate from the airport- it was not listed with other hotels
There was a problem with heater- it was a very windy night and the cold air blew in through the heater all night- had to keep the heat on to keep warm and then it was so dry in there! Also would like to know that the comfortor has been washed and changed with each guest- I do not believe this was so.

The room was great but the staff during our stay was disappointing. I called Saturday morning and asked for early check-in. Mary told me I could check in at 1:00PM. We got there and then she said no we couldn't check in till 2:00PM. We would have NEVER got there at 1:00PM if the room wasn't going to be ready. She also gave me attitude when checking me in. Poor customer service skills.

Hotel was adequate for the money. Desk staff very unfriendly, shuttle was never on time. Hotel is under renovations and the floor we were on really should have been closed as they addressed issue in hallways. Ceiling torn apart trash on floor from construction. Restaurant food was good and service there was great.

Primary reason for selecting this hotel is closeness to airport and requiring to park 14 days . Shutlle service is quick, parking is secure and convenient. I was able to manage two toddlers easily for my overseas trip by staying here. Ordered pizza and room service was quick. Room & beds were neat & comfy. There is no complimentary breakfast/food but I would stilll prefer this hotel.

I booked room including breakfast which is $20 higher than regular reservation. However, as I was directed to the dinning room in the hotel lobby and had breakfast there. Staff told that I have to pay this breakfast because it's not included with the hotel reservation. I was totally confused and front desk person would only refund my 10 bucks given I paid the breakfast twice.

The room was very clean and we were extremely comfortable.
Our door lock battery was not working and we spent lots of time trying to get in our room each time with our key cards. Three times we had to go to the front desk to get into room. It wasn't until checkout that the manager told us about the battery issue. Also, our phone was broken and they never fixed it. I asked twice.

I began staying at this hotel two years ago when I attended a music conference. This hotel had a conference rate, and I feel staying near the airport has cost advantages. This hotel, to me, is a high-quality one without being overpriced. I've stayed here four times now and will be back this Fall for the next conference!

Room was good value and a comfortable bed. The bus is scheduled to leave every 20 minutes. Our time to leave the hotal was 5 am. There were too many to fit into the bus. Another bus was called but there were still some who could not get on that bus. The departure to the airport was 15 minutes late for us. I do not know how late it was for those who waited for a third bus.

Redesigned rooms great, very modern. Comfy beds great. Old, noisy wall heaters not great. Kept me awake at night. The on-premise restaurant (Mirage) great. Very impressed with menu and staff. Parking experience great. Airport shuttle drivers great. Only stayed one night, and it would have been nice to get in the hot tub after our 9:30pm arrival, but pool closes early on Friday.

Our neighbor recommended this hotel to begin our trip to Alaska and park our car. It was nice to have a timely shuttle. The parking lot is very dark and full of deep potholes. Our rooms on the first floor are greatly in need of updating. My first impression of the rooms was "shabby". The staff was friendly. I will probably do more searching the next time we fly out of Chicago.

Pretty good place for an overnight stay before an early flight & a good place to store your car while your gone.
The room was clean & the hotel was what I expected. The shuttle runs every 20 min's, so that's very handy.
My only recommendation is to have coffee available in the lobby for people who have early flights.

The Four Points needs much improvement. Where shall I start? 1) The keys didn't work 100% of the time. We had to have them reset twice. 2) The hallway leading to our room smelled like an elevator shaft and we were a long way from the elevator. 3) The elevator itself (1) was painfully slow. I began to use the stairs and our room was on the 7th floor. We felt sorry for housekeeping who had to use this one elevator to get from floor to floor. 4) All of the outlets in the room were on one side of the bed. The other side had none. The coffee pot had to be moved to the outlet. 5) The wallpaper by the window was bubbled and coming off the wall. The carpet was stained throughout the hallway. 6) While our room was clean, housekeeping skipped our room one day.
The only redeeming factor about this room was that the room itself was clean.
This hotel falls far below Starwood standards. We would not recommend this hotel.

Upon entering the hotel, we had to park in a fairly shady back lot. The hotel looked dated throughout and there was only one, slow elevator in service. Although the hotel had a bit of a grungy feel, once entering the room, it was fine. Comfortable bed, relatively clean, etc. Nice staff and clean room made the stay fair, but the rest of the hotel is in dire need of an update.

Traveling for Business for extended periods room quality means a lot. Noisy air conditioner, no refrigerator, ice machines on floor not working, smoking on non-smoking floors, workout area poor, pool in area of banquets not comfortable walking through while a wedding going on.

Everything about our quick stay (we came in on Fri. afternoon and left for the airport early the next morning) was great.
The only problem that we had was on our transfer back to the hotel to pick up our vehicle. The shuttle service was very slow according to the amount of people that were at the airport waitng to get transferred. It was a caotic mess there for awhile.

I enjoyed my stay! The staff were very attentive.
I did have a concern with the floor in room 202. In some areas the floor was uneven although covered with carpet. There were some humps in the floor..
Not quite certain what was under the carpet but it was HARD! whatever it was.

If you're looking for overnight accomadations by the airport, this would be a nice hotel. Smaller rooms (or at least the king bed room was) and the rooms were a little worn down but overall nice property. The toliet did run all night and when we checked in the shower was leaking but we were able to fix that. Small minor issues, nothing major and the price was great!

The facility is very old and when we arrived at the hotel lobby, there was some kind of old house or carpet smell. On our second day, we found a small roaches in the bathroom vanity. We had been to other Four Points facilities and so far this is the worst one. Hope after the renovation, they will improve their service.

This hotel was very nice, with clean and spacious room. Noisy air conditioner and difficulty getting in to the hotel parking were the only concerns. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel has very nice amenities - training rooms, restaurant, and free shuttle service to and from the airport. Best of all, the price was great. The only real down-side were the very small bathrooms - much smaller than other hotels. Then again, my stay wasn't based on my bathroom experience, but everything else the area has to offer! I'll stay here again!

I've been staying at this hotel since 2010 whenever I'm in Chicago and I keep going back. It's not just that it's super convenient for my work location, there are lots of hotels I could actually choose from. But this Four Points Sheraton has very special people working in it and everybody is really helpful and friendly. It's not just professional expertise, but it's good old fashioned high class service and terrific genuine friendliness along with it. The staff are extremely pleasant, there is a real camaraderie, a true caring for the guests, and a wholesome and pleasant feeling about staying there. The Mirage restaurant is fantastic. Not just the excellent food, the high cuisine standards and excellent chefs, with great menu choices, but the restaurant staff are so awesomely friendly. It is literally home from home and I love every minute of my stay in the Four Points !
Do not miss the opportunity to experience this wonderful hotel !

This hotel is one of the worst SPG hotels I've stayed at. Front desk personnel could not be bothered answering a question such as "how do I get to xyz?" There were boxes strewn throughout the hallway, the carpets are disgustingly dirty (spillage), the walls haven't been cleaned in years. Just overall a really poor stay. Definitely would NOT recommend this hotel.
