Our room was very small and cramped with no microwave nor refrigerator. My wife needed these for her medication, so we just left i in the car in an insulated bag. The bathroom was the size of our half bath in our basement at home. No counter space.. Usually when we stay at this hotel accomodations are great- not this time.

The best part is free parking! I was expecting to pay for parking like most other hotels in the area. I visit Chicago pretty often and will be staying here in the future.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Showme24 SHOULD BE TWO POINTS SHERATON
I travel often and I am a member of Starwood hotels. The name Sheraton to me garners quality satisfaction and a certain level of standard. I chose this hotel as I wanted to be close to the airport.I was pleased with that, as well as the free shuttle. Hence the two POINTS. I was assigned a room on the 5 th floor where a sign just outside the elevator on the floor indicates reserved for OUR STARWOOD GUESTS. the carpet to my room is in dire need of replacement, it was terribly dirty and replacement would be the only way to fix that. The bathroom in my room was small and one quickly notices the bathtub as having been once repainted white. The paint or glaze on the tub is peeling off revealing an outdated beige tub. The bed spread on the king bed is pilling and should no longer be used. As I wandered around the lobby near the elevators the carpet there was extremely worn and in need of vacuuming. Housekeeping staff in the hallway replied to my query as to the nature of the dirty carpet, that it had not been vacuumed yet! This was seven thirty in the evening on the main floor of the hotel?? Should that not be done at seven thirty in the morning? First impressions start on the main floor! The elevator was hardly able to accommodate the luggage cart, with the cart in the elevator there is only room for yourself and the cart, no others would be able to fit. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The Sheraton name on this hotel stands not for the standard that I have come to expect from Sheraton. My mistake.

I arrived late after a long flight and business meeting. I had to wake up really early (5AM) to catch my flight home.
The walls must be really thin because I was kept awake by the room next door laughing and conversing till almost midnight (in normal voices). It kept me awake.
Early in the morning there was some sort of power outage, I couldn't get any of the lights in my room to turn on bright enough to get ready (makeup & Hair). Elevator was also not working so I had to come down, back up (forgotten item) and back down 7 flights of stairs. Not a great stay.

Generally, I did not find the hotel facilities themselves *that* bad. Of course, it was very expensive during the time I booked it, so that didn't help. The staff was not helpful in 3 instances: first, upon check-in the staff was aloof at best and rude at worst. Second, the internet connection was terrible (they have an upgraded version, but even as a platinum member they were asking me to pay to use it). I asked for an ethernet cable and they charged *****$75******* to my room for it. Of course, I had returned the cable, so they eventually took the charge off. Finally, when I was getting picked up from the airport, the front desk was not helpful. I talked to two people who told me two wildly different things about pickup times. Overall, I'm extremely dissatisfied.

I think by booking through Cheaptickets, and you are not paying the full price, you are put in rooms that are out dated and not used. When we got off the elevator it smelled, like an old musty smell. When i opened the door, it make that sticky sound, like it had not been opened in a while. No water pressure for shower or toilet. Housekeeping came really early, before 9am, we said not yet, and never got our room cleaned for the day. Very disappointed. I checked online to see if they were full, but I still could make a reservation for the same room i was in, so that told me we were put in an old room because of price.

My flight was cancelled due to bad weather and I thaught that my day couldnt get any worse than this. The airline gave us a paper with a couple of hotel listed so I started to call everyone I can. I was truly frustrated by the time I came to call the four points at Ohare airport, everyone else was charging an arm and a leg and or they didnt have a room available. Let me tel lyou about the friendly voice I heard on the other end of the phone when I reached the Four points Ohare. Toni was so ampathetic and incrdiabley helpful in my time of need. She amde my reservation at a comperable price and told me where the shuttle picked up at Ohare. Upon arriving at the hotel Toni was there with smiles greeting the tired passangers coming off the shittle bus. Toni checked me in with minimal effort on my part, and when I got to the room I was surprized with comfort of the room. The bed was so comfortable I didnt want to get up. To my surprise a couple of minutes later my phone rang, it was Toni on the other end asking if everything was satisfactory. I had dinner in the hotels restaurant and was very fell feed. In the morning I came back down to teh desk, dreading on going back to Ohare and there again was Toni's smiling face asking my how my night was.
It is times like this that makes a bad day / situation a whole lot better to deal with.
