Rated 3 out of 5 by Great Location I checked in late due to ball game that we attended. It was a last min reservation. I asked the front desk person to add my SPG no and she said it wouldn't go in. However when I got home I'm still receiving email with this no attatched. We stayed on the 6th floor. The hall smelled musty, but the room was fairly nice except for the view, the roof:( Maybe put some plants out there! January 11, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Wasn't bad but.. room was ok, lobby was good, as SPG gold member I got late check out but they don't give me enhanced room even if it is available!! Next beach was good but hotel location wasn't good! Compare with price, room was not that good! Staff was kind but about SPG knowledge was not enough! They did not even ask or say about SPG gold member benefit until I asked! June 17, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Renovation caused chemical smell on several floors Checked out after one night. Traveling with coworkers for business trip and many were on floors with a chemical smell. Manager gave us a difficult time about checking out early but than relented and didn't charge penalty. Should close if renovating This Starwood property did not meet my expectations December 13, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Catagory 4? I was excited to stay here. I was in desperate need of getaway from long stressful week. I been earning and saving my point for months just to have a night at another sister property. A few of my colleagues told me not to waste my points here but the thought of being on the beach may me feel different. However I should have listened to my peers. Upon checking in the agent assisted me with the check in process but I’m not sure if she is knowledgeable of the full a.r.r.i.v.a.l process but if I was the QA for the season this property would have fail. The room was not fully inspected I’ll be submitting pictures as well regarding that not much a big deal for me but it still should have not happened. My biggest concern was not being acknowledged as a SPG member regardless of my level some acknowledgement should have been recognized. I personally feel as if this property doesn’t deserve to be 10,000 star points per night. I wasted my night. February 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Service+ We just stayed in two rooms at this location. Both rooms were upgraded to ocean views. One for my SPG membership and the second for a minor screwup. For the second mistake they sent up wine and cheese in addition to the suite. It's not The W but you should realize that when booking. It's a nice friendly and clean hotel. I would definitely stay again. May 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Decent location, great for the price! I stayed here for work and was pleased with the room and location. The staff was by far your shining point, and made my stay even better. You recognized my SPG level and was pleased to be offer a gorgeous ocean view room. The room itself was standard and could use some updating and cleaning. Overall, I was pleased with my stay. Rated 4 out of 5 by The hotel had many features that made my stay enjoyable. The hotel staff was excellent- everyone was friendly, courteous, and efficient. We asked for a refrigerator and five minutes later the refrigerator was set up. The location was great in Miami Beach. We looked forward to starting our day with a wonderful breakfast at the Hotel restaurant and ending the day with Happy Hour at the hotel bar. January 31, 2013

There were plastic sharp shards in my food when ordered, my comforter smelled like curry, the sink plug did not work and staff overall either did not understand English or did not provide any other options to any of the assistance I needed. Rated 3 out of 5 by Inferior Room Location Small room looked out at hotel next door, no view. The hotel next door had a party which lasted until 3:00 A,M, with loud music, which did not allow you to fall asleep. Their cocktail and restaurant area where the party was held faced my room, on the 9th floor. As a SPG Guest Member that did not rate accolades for my hotel experience. October 31, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointing 6th stay after 5 successful stays We stay at the 4 point Sheraton in Miami beach at least once a year. This time they could not accommodate us with a refrigerator and microwave as they promised and usualy do. the room had a great view of the ocean but the furnishing were not at the level of a 4 star hotel. The TV didnt work properly, the bed was comfortable though. April 7, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good cost/benefit and great location The hotel location is very good, the overall service is good if you do not expect luxury - it's a beach hotel that fits into the art deco style of Miami - it's historical and for sure still has its place on the Miami Beach scenario. The staff is warm and receptive - my family really enjoyed the stay and will return when possible. January 1, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Handicap parking We had a problem/handicap parking. My son uses a wheelchair and has a van/a ramp therefore he needs to park himself to be sure he has access. We were given a parking voucher across the street, but when we wanted to leave the voucher was not accepted and we had to pay parking which was supposed to be included in our reservations. Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful beach location Overall very great experience. Friendly and accommodating service. Pool and beach are awesome as well as the ocean views. Location is not the best, but close enough to everything within 10 minutes in South Beach. Hotel rooms could use a little dressing up, but most Miami hotels in general lack great upkeep. It's clear that they are in the process of making improvements, but given the location of the hotel and the length of time that it has been in the Starwood group, I am disappointed. Entire Hotel Staff from check-in to departure was was friendly and attentive, courteous and professional, throughout our stay. Restaurant and pool staff as well. Rated 4 out of 5 by Business travler The room was good. Slept well, the Beds and pillows were very nice. Bathroom was small but fine for what I needed. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and the staff would do anything extra as needed. More that enough. Free wine tasting each night. Nice balcony and pool. Beach right there. All good. Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice hotel The place is a little dated. The shower head needed to be reinstalled and the ice machine didn't work. The restaurant is good but not great. Location is great - next to the beach, great pool, outside gardens were nice. Great walking on the boardwalk. Personnel very friendly and helpful. No furniture on the decks. May 21, 2012

I'm accustom to a higher quality hotel so this one is a bit dated. The highlight of the room was the 32 inch TV. Very small room. Overall, it's okay. November 7, 2013

The hotel's location next to the Fountainblue and Soho Beach Club make people watching fun...and If you see paparazzi, you know someone famous is nearby. February 27, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by needs an facelift The personal were nice and friendly but the rooms ans hallways were outdated.I felt like it was at a Old Age Home not a hotel.The pool area is decent but nothing to ride home about.I couldn't find towels outside or on way out.You cant take SPG standard when booking a hotel anymore. Rated 2 out of 5 by Bad experience This hotel started my experience with the I availability to valet my car. There was no Shampoo or body wash in the room as their wall canisters were empty. The bath room although clean the first day, was full of random hair the next day. I have short hair and they were long. February 28, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Decent Property, Poor Service The physical property was actually was better than expected. The rooms are clean and the lobby is renovated and decorated well. The service that I received at check-in was on par with a 2 star hotel on the side of the interstate. There is no pool scene at all, no music, etc. December 5, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 Average Although the room walls were somewhat in dispare, the service and comfort were excellent! Location was good for where we needed to be and easy to get to lower South Beach when we wanted to. All in all great trip!! We did try the restaurant for breakfast and was very good. April 9, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by breakfast When going to restaurant for breakfast, buffet was only food available. My wife and I only wanted an english muffin or bagel with coffee and were informed only through room service or by paying for buffet. A good amenity though was coffee was available at no charge. I will be sure to book future vacations at Four Points Sheratons. You could tell the hotel was kept up and the staff were proud to be working there. April 8, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Terrible Hotel - Beyond Outdated! My wife and I stayed here in November 2012. Hotel lobby is great, but misleading because the rooms are an absoloute dump and not something you would expect to spend so my money on. Very dissatisfied. The experience in general has turned me off of SPG. March 11, 2013

The room had many shortcomings including a loose wobbly toilet, bathtub plug didn't work, paint splattered on the back of the bathroom door and around the frame, bathroom door was difficult to close, balcony tiles were cracked and broken.....
