I was disappointed with the facility, especially the cleanliness of the guest floor hallways and the room shower. It's clear that they are in the process of making improvements, but given the location of the hotel and the length of time that it has been in the Starwood group, I am disappointed. It should be so much better.

I was excited to stay here. I was in desperate need of getaway from long stressful week. I been earning and saving my point for months just to have a night at another sister property. A few of my colleagues told me not to waste my points here but the thought of being on the beach may me feel different. However I should have listened to my peers. Upon checking in the agent assisted me with the check in process but I’m not sure if she is knowledgeable of the full a.r.r.i.v.a.l process but if I was the QA for the season this property would have fail. The room was not fully inspected I’ll be submitting pictures as well regarding that not much a big deal for me but it still should have not happened. My biggest concern was not being acknowledged as a SPG member regardless of my level some acknowledgement should have been recognized. I personally feel as if this property doesn’t deserve to be 10,000 star points per night. I wasted my night.

The rooms were very small and dated. It was very tight for 4 people. I also thought I was getting 2 queen beds but it was only 2 double beds. There was a very nice balcony but no furniture to sit on and use it. What a waste. I asked for furniture but was told they do not out any furniture on any balcony. The lobby is nice but deceiving as the rooms are in need of an update! carpets were yucky! The rooms also smelled like mildew!

nice pool, lobby and location. Rooms are extremely old and this is first Sheraton which is far below par. As a gold member you are not getting any special feeling at this hotel

I travel over 50 nights a year and by far this was the worst experience that I have had, Room was not adequate and service was worse. I highly recommend that you DON'T stay at this property.

The personal were nice and friendly but the rooms ans hallways were outdated.I felt like it was at a Old Age Home not a hotel.The pool area is decent but nothing to ride home about.I couldn't find towels outside or on way out.You cant take SPG standard when booking a hotel anymore.

It was my first time staying at a Four Points, and I will never again stay at one again. There were plastic sharp shards in my food when ordered, my comforter smelled like curry, the sink plug did not work and staff overall either did not understand English or did not provide any other options to any of the assistance I needed. Just no.

even though we had reservations for the night, our flight was delayed by 2 hrs and they gave our room to someone else, so they told us. Our room was supposed to have a view of the water and we had a lovely view of the roof. also, there was a huge spotlight on said roof that shone directly into our room. Our travel spoke with the hotel and they were to " have something in our room for our room for our inconvenience." There was nothing.
We wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff wasn't very friendly.

A few heads up to future travelers to this hotel:
- I stayed here with starpoints, and because the hotel was full, only suites were available. I was charged the suite rate, but did not not receive a suite
- Room was above the neighboring building's outdoor nightclub - much noise late at night
- For the first time ever at a Starwood hotel, I was denied late check out (I've been gold / platinum for many years). I went to Miami to run a marathon, and the lack of late checkout meant that I had to check out before the race, and had no place to shower / change afterward. If it had ever occurred to me that this could happen, I would not have stayed here.
- The hotel was not all bad - amazing pool, beautiful lobby, good restaurant.

The hotel staff was excellent- everyone was friendly, courteous, and efficient. We asked for a refrigerator and five minutes later the refrigerator was set up. The location was great in Miami Beach. We looked forward to starting our day with a wonderful breakfast at the Hotel restaurant and ending the day with Happy Hour at the hotel bar.

Room was very small and you could hear people talking and phones ringing in the next room. The breakfast staff is a joke, we had to keep getting up and serving ourselves coffee and water.

Quick summary of why my hotel stay was so bad:
- Twice they neglected to make the wake-up calls I requested
- The restaurant is supposed to open at 7 (which is late for business travelers). It would open 5-10 minutes late.
- Minimal outlets in the room including none at the desk
- No light at the desk
- I couldn't even read the phone number off the phone when I wanted to give it to my wife to call me back since there was no light and the labeling on the phone was old and faded. We actually had to google it.
- They couldn't even have the clock in the room set. It was on the blinking 12:00 setting.

-The rooms need an upgrade, burns in carpet, bathrooms are old & mildewy & the windows are very dirty, & short sheets

Great location and friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are badly in need of significant upgrading. We had a oceanfront room with a porch but there were no chairs on the porch! That's just unacceptable.

The room had many shortcomings including a loose wobbly toilet, bathtub plug didn't work, paint splattered on the back of the bathroom door and around the frame, bathroom door was difficult to close, balcony tiles were cracked and broken.....

Just finishing up a 3 week vacation in Miami Beach with the last 6 nights at the Four point Sheraton . I have been at this hotel a few times before and have been extremely pleased each time . The heated pool is wonderful with an amazing hot tub . The entire area by the pool is just so serene and relaxing . There is direct acsess to the beach where you can rent lounge chairs by the day . In addition the hotel is situated right on the miami beach boardwalk which is just beautiful to walk on .
Checking in was very quick and the staff was very nice . As a starwoods gold member I was upgraded to an oceanfront room and I had requested a refrigerator and received one right away .
The location is right near the bus and it is easy to get a taxi to take you down to south beach or lincoln road which is about 10-15 minutes away .
All in aLl it has been a very pleasant stay and I'm sure I will return to this hotel again .

Awful and old hotel! And the prices of hotel it is unreal are overestimated. In general it is surprised that in the SPG.com network there is such hotel. Personnel very lazy and not the friendly. Dirty towels at the pool put, as new and fresh. In the general disappointment! ! !

The lobby was very nice, the outside appearance is outdated and needs refreshing. Our room was in need of upgrading , the sheets did not fit the bed, the carpet was stained and rippled. The doors were not soundproof and sounds from hallman was disturbing, the balcony did not have chairs and the curtains had holes in them. Bathroom needed upgrading.

This property needs an update. While the views of mid-beach are to die for, the lines, drapes and covers, if not the overall feel of the rooms, are dated and do not have the SPG experience.

I checked in late due to ball game that we attended. It was a last min reservation. I asked the front desk person to add my SPG no and she said it wouldn't go in. However when I got home I'm still receiving email with this no attatched.
We stayed on the 6th floor. The hall smelled musty, but the room was fairly nice except for the view, the roof:( Maybe put some plants out there!

Booked an Ocean view room, thought it was a classic Hotel, found my room to be very un-clean and dusty, found stains on linen, hair in bathroom, very very unpleasant stay.

This hotel has a great location and a fairly good facility...but the staff at the front desk were not up to the standards I expect from a Starwood property. I called ahead to upgrade my room to a suite and was lead to believe it was taken care of. Instead I arrived and found out that it was only requested by not available. I understand when inventory is not available, but don't affirm my request and not follow through. I was there 3 nights and no one every followed up despite multiple requests.

Had eighteen days here, welcome excellent, room clean, well furnished, always clean. All staff friendly and helpful. Politeness was the buzzword here. Handy place to get around from, bus service solved all the transport problems. Breakfast excellent other meals acceptable, gym fine, swimming pool excellent, but oh if only it had been heated. Thank you, were the complainers on trip advisor staying in the same hotel?

Because this is an independently held property, I think that they don't feel that they need to keep up with the Starwood standards which is a shame. I found loads of trash in the hallways, the internet hardly worked, signage and furniture was disheveled...The hotel just needs a significant amount of TLC...I should not have had to pay 10,000 points per night to stay there...
