Rated 4 out of 5 by Sheraton in Cranberry PA Good business stop, with breakfast buffet that was fine and dinner that was good, but not exceptional. I recommend this as a good place to stay if you have business anywhere near the area. It is also easy to get to from the airport (about one hour’s drive in traffic). BTW: It also has the Western Pennsylvania sports Hall of Fame in one hallway. That makes for an interesting read. But I did not understand why Joe Namath wasn’t in it. July 26, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Very Disappointed We were disappointed….The doors need sound proofed! While trying to sleep we could hear people talking, doors slamming, and the ice machine (The ice machine was down the hall from us!) Needless to say we didn’t sleep well at all. The flooring in the entryway of the room was like ice and we slipped numerous times. The bed was like a rock. We had to pay $15 for a refrigerator in our room and the cost per night was rather high. We also wanted to get room service at approx. 8pm and they had no room service. It was very disappointing. July 22, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Spiders There was a spider in a towel in our room - and then during our conference - when i used the ladies room - there was a huge spider on the floor in one of the stalls. Not sure what the deal is - but too much for me. July 25, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice hotel The overall experience at this hotel was quite good however, our initial interaction not so much. We had a suite reserved and the confirmation to prove it but was told at the front desk that all suites were booked and then offered a room with 1 bed and a roll away bed for 3 adults. When we refused that room they did find us a room with 2 double beds at the same rate we were to pay for the suite. There was no mention of compensation for difference in rooms, such as reduced room rate or a free meal. The lifeguard on duty while we were there was very attentive and kind. We also accidently left clothing hang in our closet when we left. Upon contacting the director of housekeeping he was very kind and helpful in having our clothing shipped to us at our cost. Rated 4 out of 5 by Hall ways everything was great but hallways were very warm, wish the room would of had a small fridge. Also wish we would of had a view of outdoors instead of lobby. just a suggestion, let people know there is a third privacy curtain they can close. "Many" of the other guest didnt think they had privacy beyond the second sheer curtain. ty July 22, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by This hotel is a nice place to stay. I've stayed at this hotel numerous times and have been pleased with each stay, both the hotel and the rooms are clean and tidy. The staff is friendly as well. I highly recommend this hotel. July 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Front desk was not helpful When I checked in at 11:00 pm on Sunday 7/13/14 after a long 5 hour drive the front desk was not very welcoming. I was asked to put a credit card on file. My company had already filled out the authorization form for this and they forced me to use my own credit card without checking for the authorization first, Again when I proceeded to check out around 1030am on 7/18/14 they wanted to charge my personal credit card after I informed them again that my company authorized it to be charged to their card. Without even checking for the authorization they gave me a hard time about charging the card. I had to call my company and hand the front desk worker my personal cell phone to talk to them so they could once again inform them they had already sent over the signed authorization forms. I believe all of this hassle could have been avoided if the worker would have looked in the file first before making me jump through hoops to prove I had authorization. July 20, 2014
