Rated 2 out of 5 by Basic at best The hotel is functional and that is it. From the additional fees assessed at check in without prior notice to the short sheets that did not completely cover the bed and left my feet hanging on the bare mattress, to the refusal to return a small personal item I left in my room for anything less an exorbitant fee and the overcooked food, illegible menus, and lobby power sources that didn't work—this is a place I will never stay again. Special mention to Monty at front desk, he was so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. He made our stay an absolute treat and was a pleasure to deal with. September 11, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by The concierge staff rude So I have stayed in this hotel numerous times and this last time last my worst experience to date. First of all the room smelt of dampness - I have never experienced this before in the hotel but I would stay away from the 19th floor But my main disappointment was the man at the concierge desk - I had asked for my stuff to be held until I returned after the weekend and at 5am he started shouting at me and getting extremely aggressive when I dropped off my stuff - as you can imagine it wasn't the best way to wake up. The man at the check in desk was extremely helpful however and showed true customer service but this man at the concierge actually intimidated me and I couldn't wait to get out of the hotel. Rated 2 out of 5 by Bogus Facility Fee Added WATCH! First....great service and staff in the restaurant, above average. This is not a 4 star Westin Hotel - tired out. The added $30 per night facility fee is really bogus - for what? Just a money grab not in keeping with SPG. August 28, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not a Westin Property Starwood should be ashamed to allow their Westin brand to be on this hotel. No room service? Isn't that required in order to carry the Westin name? Staff was surly, and completely unhelpful. Manager was unavailable to hear my concerns and comlaints as well. If you're traveling on business and expect to do as I normally do - order room service for dinner while you work in the room to prepare for meetings the next day - don't stay at this hotel. Again, it falls WAY short of worldwide Westin standards. August 25, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful View and Exceptional Service I am just returning from a weekend getaway in San Francisco. I wanted to treat my wife of 27 years to a cooler alternative to our home temperatures in Vegas that is on par with the quality of service she is accustomed to in LA. The staff in San Francisco knocked it out of the park! From checking in with Justin - he was professional and thorough- my wife was all smiles as he celebrated with us when we checked in and made it a point to punctuate our stay with free beverages. We also found the waiting team in the restaurant to be particularly professional and astute. Our only issue was with the breakfast. It was seldom hot and there were french toast corners that were stale when we went to eat them. The concierge on both occasions that we need assistance were patient and thorough! Housekeeping was great in the room but I would recommend that even thought the housekeeping staff don't use the elevators the guests do, walking that way could only improve their efforts. We saw the same paper fuzz debris and a lone dried up craisin in the carpet in front of the elevators on our floor for the full 4 days that we were on property. But our room was SPOTLESS! Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointing reserved two doubles for my family of four only to arrive late on a Saturday evening to find out that my room was given away. The only option was to take another single room. Great way to treat any customer let alone and SPG customer. Nice to know that brand loyalty really doesn't matter. August 16, 2016
