Rated 5 out of 5 by Real Hidden Jewel of River North The hotel is located in the vicinity of Magnificent Mile, right across John Hancock Center. This hotel is not new, but renovated recently, so every facility was up-to-dated. The only thing I can mention is smaller bathroom compared to similar level of hotel room but it was still quite not bad to use. Also, the price is very reasonable considering its location, and the staff provided kind and seamless services. I definitely choose their hotel again for the stay at Chicago. January 18, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel is Great For Location Bathrooms Beware I stayed at this hotel for New Years with my boyfriend. It was my first time in Chicago and everyone told me to stay downtown. The location of the hotel was great that staff was super duper friendly. The only parts that I was not happy with was the bathroom and the go green program. The bathrooms are sooooo outdated like I honestly can't believe they have not been renovated. The bathroom cabinets are so disgusting. Most SPG hotels leave the card on the bed asking you to put the hook on the door if you want to participate. I had to call down to the front desk in which the lady told me they participated they just didn't have the cards. If I had to recommend staying here I would for the price just no that the bathrooms are horrible, oh and no microwave or fridge. January 5, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great New Renovated Rooms! I've stayed here many times over the years. Love the new renovations! Super comfy beds and you can't beat the location which is just half of a block off of Michigan Avenue. Great SPG Platinum recognition. January 1, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Fell short of expectations The room had no fridge, the window opened up to the dirty alley. We could hear the trash truck and other utility vehicles in the middle of the night and in the early mornings which prevented us from getting sleep. The bath tub was clogged and the door did not close all the way so we could hear other guest slamming doors and such. Big disappointment for the money we paid. December 8, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay Stayed at the hotel because of the mag mile Festival of Lights. Staff was friendly and polite. Because the hotel was smaller, it did not seemed over helming like bigger hotels that did not have enough staff. November 24, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by One of the worst hotel stays ever!!! Where do I start!! Bad experience from the time I drove up to the hotel and there wasn't any valet. After waiting 15 minutes I went inside to check in and see if someone could take the car and help with the bags. Restaurant was awesome and friendly, unlike the front clerk. Return to the room about midnight to loud people down the hall, and a dump truck with the back up horn on for about 20 minutes. Woke up the drilling going on, called down to the front desk ask to be moved to opposite side of the hotel/noisy street, was told no we couldn't move. I was working nights and needed to get sleep during the day!! Shared that with the clerk, said we needed to move or check out. She said okay and hung-up the phone. So we packed up and went down the Street and around the corner, they welcomed us with open arms!!! Very unhappy Guest. November 7, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointing Stay- You name it, it was broken or missing From the moment I arrived, there were issues. I walked into my room and the lock was broken and the door wouldn't close/lock, the cable didn't work, remote didn't work, the shower was leaking and there was no TV channel listing. Things were fixed relatively quickly but with that many issues, I would have rather been moved. The next morning, I realized I couldn't find the hall light and the front desk told me that all of the rooms in my room's position on the floor had lights but no light switch. I left my room at noon, removed my "do not disturb sign" and when I returned at 3pm, the room still hadn't been serviced and I was told that housekeeping had gone home. At the end of my stay they offered to email me my receipt, and of course, I didn't receive it. Overall an annoying stay full of inconveniences. November 3, 2015
