L’Epicerie Restaurant takes fine dining to a new level with flair. The front dining room features white armchairs and square tables dressed in black table linens, while crimson curtains and accent walls add a dash of bold colour. Guests enjoy views over the Place d’Espagne through picture windows that flood the space with light. The back dining room strikes a more casual note with exposed brick walls, wooden window shutters and crisp white linens. The restaurant also features three private dining rooms—Angelique for up to eight guests, Bergamote for up to 12 guests and Cédrat for up to five guests.
Using seasonal produce, local seafood and meats and fresh herbs as his starting point, Chef Masson reinterprets traditional Belgian or French cuisine. Signature items not to be missed include Veal sweetbreads caramelised in Liège syrup, Crayfish fritters + watercress, and a wonderful selection of homemade desserts served with Speculoos ice cream provides a delicious conclusion to the evening.
In addition to the delectable lunch and dinner menus, L’Epicerie serves one of the city’s favourite Sunday brunches to include a selection of fresh baked pastries, savoury dishes and decadent sweets. Inspired by our family of local vendors, on the last Sunday of every month, the restaurant hosts a themed brunch that explores the traditions of a particular region of Belgium. Ideal for families, parents can enjoy some adult time, while children are entertained with drawing classes and clown shows. Children under the age of 8 enjoy our brunch for free.
