Head Chef Asu Liang strikes an ingenious balance with his superb French-inspired menu at Allure. Drawing upon classic French and Mediterranean dishes, his team reinvents the traditional with a focus on simpler, healthier ingredients and a modern presentation style that strikes a sophisticated yet approachable note.
A lighter blend of olive oil and butter, unexpected herbs and local produce find their way into such delectable signature dishes as Sea Bass “Mariniere” prepared with seaweed, clams, mussels and leeks, as well as the Chef’s daily soup.
The restaurant is located in the striking lobby of the hotel and is marked by the same refined simplicity as its menu. Stylised curved armchairs and crisp white table linens create a bold contrast to the dark marble floors and full length wooden panelling along the walls. At the periphery of the seating area, a modern glass spiral staircase winds its way up to the second floor—its purpose both practical and artful alike.
Diners enjoy views of the open kitchen as well as of the hotel gardens through the massive lobby windows. The adjoining terrace of Le Bistrot is open year round and provides a graceful place to sit outside while savouring the inventive menu. Smoking is permitted on the terrace.
A children’s menu is available for children under the age of 3.
