L’Angelo restaurant serves fresh modern Italian cuisine in a chic contemporary setting. The inventive décor is kept in soft whites and graphic blacks punctuated with teak and silver. Illuminated by sleek modern column lights, the cream-coloured walls exhibit contemporary artwork by Cambodian artists. Teak tables are surrounded by graphic dining chairs made from dark wood laced with ribbons of white fabric. Each place setting is delineated by a hammered silver charger and crackled glass goblet. Bold ceramics by local artists add pops of colour, while shelves of glass containers display fresh fruits and vegetables.
The enticing cuisine explores Italian favourites with a modern attitude. From the unexpected toppings on our speciality pizzas to a fresh take on traditional tomato bread soup to delectable favourites such as the Spinach Chicken, the menu is sure to delight even the most refined palates. The accompanying wine list boasts the most extensive selection of international wines in Siem Reap.

Since joining Le Méridien Angkor in 2005, Nicholas Rouleau has served exquisite menus that deliver an authentic culinary experience to our guests.
"My aim is to expose our guests to the different authentic foods, regions, and traditions of Cambodia throughout the year," says Executive Chef Nicolas Rouleau. "We want our guests to return from their travels not only having experienced the history of the Angkorian Empire. We want them to experience present day Cambodia, through its culinary tradition."
His career began at the renowned Harrods in London, where he applied his traditional French training to a variety of cuisines. From there, he went on to teach French cuisine at Manchester University, before starting his successful partnership with Le Méridien in 2000.
Located on the ground floor of the resort, our sun-drenched brasserie Angkor Royal Café features a bright, inviting space with walls of windows, arrangements of fresh bamboo, and casual rattan armchairs around teak wood tables. An inviting open kitchen features glass counters to display the extravagant daily buffets.
Our team of talented chefs delight guests with a sumptuous assortment of Western, Asian, and local dishes—drawing on the abundance of local produce, herbs, spices, and seafood. In addition, a monthly culinary calendar highlights a particular region, ingredient, or tradition of Cambodian cuisine. Under the creative direction of sous-chef Kosal, one month may be dedicated to the fresh seafood of Tonle Sap lake, while the next showcases the diverse Khmer recipes involving mango, or the inventive use of rice in meals and beverages.

Whether perched at the round mahogany bar with its vivid glass-lit display of bottles or in one of the groupings of comfortable armchairs, The Naga Bar sets a chic stage for an early evening cocktail with friends or an intimate night cap after dinner. Framing views of the Palm Garden, walls of glass are fitted with custom made blinds to create a sense of space and privacy at the same time. Flickering votive candles, graphic ceiling lights with linen lampshades, black and white photography of the surrounding Angkor temples and Siem Reap region, and soft lounge music add to the sophisticated ambiance.
Our expert bartenders are happy to recommend one of our signature Khmer cocktails—tempting concoctions of fine spirits, fruit juices, sour or bitter mixes, and traditional Cambodian rice wine called Sombai. Local spices and fruits are infused into the rice wine, and a sugar cane stick is inserted in each bottle, giving Sombai its characteristic woody flavour. One drink not to be missed is the Sombai Blue—a tantalising mix of Sombai, Blue Curaçao, lime juice, pineapple juice, and sugar syrup.
