Spanning the 65th and 66th floors, HU Bar & Lounge reflects Shanghai’s past, present, and future glories. This venue comprises three areas: a classically styled bar, a modern nightclub, and a penthouse-inspired event space.
Each area was inspired by the character of Madame Hu, a longtime resident whose life and relatives personify old and new elements of the city. Every floor of the lounge represents a member of the Hu family and depicts their life stories throughout different eras.
The Lounge on the 65th floor harks back to old Shanghai’s style from the 20th century. The wines and whiskies are thoughtfully complemented by vintage décor and soothing live jazz music with influences of days gone by.
The Club on the 66th floor surrounds guests with the vibrant nightlife of 21st-century Shanghai. The uniqueness and trendiness of this sprawling metropolis is exemplified by creative cuisine and cutting-edge music by live international DJs.
