Family Plan Policy

Children who are 12 or younger sleep for free in the existing bedding of a room shared with a paying adult. Rollaways, child rollaways and cribs may incur extra charges. Please note that certain rooms within the hotel can accommodate up to four persons. For these rooms a fee of 30 GBP (including VAT) per person per night will be applied, regardless of how many guests are children and how many guests are adults.

Currency Fluctuations

For non-US hotels, rates confirmed in USD may be converted to local currency by the hotel at your time of stay, based on the exchange rate used by the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.  Credit card charges are subject to additional currency conversions by banks or credit card companies, which are not within the hotel's control and may impact the amount charged to your credit card.  Please contact the hotel if you have any questions.

Accessible Policy

The hotel is Wheelchair friendly. Our two accessible rooms, both in the Deluxe catergory, are available by request only. These rooms are equipped with the following features:

  • Walk-in shower
  • Grab bars
  • Accessible seat
  • Emergency alert system
  • Wide entrance for wheelchair access

The hotel has one wheelchair which is available on a 'first come and first serve basis'. In the event the wheelchair is taken by another guest, the Concierge can arrange the rental of a wheelchair.

Lifts are available for the lower ground floor bar and the Terrace on the second floor. Both floors feature public restrooms with accessible toilets. In case of emergency, Evac+Chair products are available.

Alcohol Policy

Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 18 years or older with valid identification.

Cheque – Banker cheques are not accepted. Traveller’s cheques are accepted for payment or exchange. Guest must show valid passport for the transaction.

Early Departure Policy

Extra Bedding Policy

Extra beds and cots are available for an additional fee. Please the contact the hotel directly for availability.

Cribs are provided upon request and are free of charge. Hotel does not provide blankets, bumpers or pillows with our cribs. Guest must bring their own.

Gift Certificate Acceptance Policy

Gift certificates can be redeemed at hotel. Please contact the reservations manager directly.

ID Requirement

For security purposes, valid photo identification is required at check-in. Acceptable forms include a drivers license, passport, and/or proof of age card.

Portage Policy

Portage is complimentary for individual travellers.

Pet Policy

Pets up to 40 pounds are allowed. A cleaning fee of GBP 100 will be charged and a Pet Policy Waiver must be signed upon arrival. For more information please contact the hotel directly.

Credit/Debit Card Policy

Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.

Payment Policy

Third Party Credit Card – Please note that we do not accept third party credit card forms as of the 1st of June 2012.  We can arrange for a bank transfer for prior payment. Please call in-house reservations at (44)(207) 290 7575 for bank details.

Cheque – Banker cheques are not accepted. Traveller’s cheques are accepted for payment or exchange. Guest must show valid passport for the transaction.

Direct Bill – Direct billing is only available after approval of the credit manager. The company to be invoiced must fax an invoice request to the hotel and include the specific charges to be invoiced.

Cash – A deposit equal to the room, tax and 100 GBP per day will be collected at check-in.

Swimming Pool Admittance Policy

Children under 16 years of age are permitted in the swimming pool between 8am and 8pm. Children can only use the swimming pool under the constant supervision of an adult who will take responsibility for their conduct.

Smoking Policy

All public areas and guest rooms are non-smoking. There is a charge of £250.00 applied for cleaning if a guest smokes in a room.
