Currency Fluctuations

Disability Access Policy

The hotel is pleased to offer accessible facilities and guest rooms. Wheelchairs are available and may be obtained through the Concierge on a complimentary basis.

Check Acceptance Policy

We regret that personal cheques are not accepted at the hotel. However, American Express Traveller's cheques may be used as payment with valid identification.

Connecting Room Policy

The hotel is pleased to offer various connecting room configurations, including king suites to a twin room. Please make your request via the hotel as early as possible to ensure availability.

Early Departure Policy

An early departure fee may apply for guests departing prior to their scheduled departure date. Fees may be up to 100% of the remaining length of stay.

Early Arrival Policy

We are pleased to accommodate early arrivals subject to availability at check-in. For arrivals before 8am, a full night’s room rate will apply. For guests checking in between 8am and 3pm, 50% of the regular room rate will apply. These fees are in addition to the nightly rate and are subject to tax.

To guarantee early arrival please contact the hotel in advance.

Extra Bedding Policy

An extra bed may be accommodated in most rooms, but must be requested in advance and is subject to availability. A fee will apply.

Gift Certificate Acceptance Policy

Gift certificates issued by hotel are accepted. Please contact hotel Reservation Team at reservations.shanghai@lemeridien.com to make your reservation.

ID Requirement

All guests are required to provide a valid government photo ID upon check-in.

We request that all non-local guests show valid passports when checking in to the hotel. Each passport will be scanned and all information confidentially recorded in accordance with Chinese government regulations.

Late Checkout Policy

We are pleased to schedule your checkout time to coincide with your travel plans. In the case of a late departure between 12pm and 6pm, an additional 50% of the room rate will apply. For checkout after 6pm, an additional night's fee will apply.

Pet Policy

While we greatly appreciate our guests' four-legged companions, Le Royal Méridien Shanghai does not accept pets at this time. Only service animals are allowed within the hotel.

Payment Policy

Third party payment is accepted with pre-approved credit card authorisation form. Please contact the hotel in advance to make arrangements.

Waitlist Policy

We regret that the hotel does not offer a waitlist.
