Great rooms, superb breakfast, may be the best I have had. Good concerge service. Nice Pool area on the roof, very central location.
We had to wait for a long time to get the rooms on the day we checked in, seemed they were a bit overbooked. Also when asking for someone to pick up laundry we called three times within one and a half hours and the reception always said they would send someone right away, but no one came. Appart for these two inconvinices the staff were always very polite and service minded. I would stay there again.

I had booked a one night stay at the hotel for my birthday with my mother and partners mother. It was excellent that the room was set up in advance for 3 people with the sofa bed but the fact 3 people were staying was not taken into account for the amenities, 2 robes, 2 glasses etc. the general cleanliness of the room was nice, bathroom was very clean but there was a lot of dust around the skirting board and under the sofa bed. The staff were really nice and polite. I know maintenance was required for the lifts but nay having 2 on a Sunday when there was events on caused a lot of problems. Lastly I was disapointed that the reservation team knew it was my birthday but it was acknowledged like other hotels have done in the past. Overall, a nice stay

The hotel facilities were great, staff were helpful, and the food was excellent, but I was asked to provide a 250EUR (30EUR per night) guarentee pre-auth on a card in order to use wifi, presumably in case I used too much bandwidth while in my room.
This is a ridiculous prospect, especially when staying as a corporate-booked guest for a week long event in which I was using wifi all day from 8-6 in the events part of the hotel.
Also, the beds are very hard and with a bad back I found them difficult to sleep through the night in.

Very bad WIFI quality. Came here with my partner as he was on business and almost every day they had to reset the router so that the WiFi would work for a few hours then stop.

With 5 hard work days in a row - it was a pelasure to come back to my room and relax on the balcony (not something I normally do. A great hotel, well situatued, with proactive, friendly staff. Service was quick and always beyond expectations. Highly recommended for business and pleasure.

location is great, in the middle of every thing.. close enough to get by bus or take walks..
the only disadvantage is no internet in the rooms, but you have it in the lobby..
one of the beds was not comfortable, and squeaky. other that that it was an excellent, enjoyable stay.

We stayed a total of 6 days at the Le Meridien and booked our stay through Starwood Preferred Guest using our SPG points. When we arrived, we were pleased to be upgraded to an executive suite, which comes with access to the executive suite lounge. The lounge included breakfast and light lunch, which included a free open bar. The room, itself, was very nice with a king size bed that was to our liking (we like firm mattresses) as well as a separate bath and shower. Our view had a balcony which overlooked the bay. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Within the hotel was a spa, which we used twice. There is also a sightseeing office where you can book trips through. The public bus is just outside of the hotel, there is a small bay/beach area that is open to the public outside the hotel (and many others within walking distance). Many shops/restaurants in the area nearby.

To celebrate our silver wedding anniversary we decided to holiday in Malta staying at the Le Meridien at St Julian's. What a great decision that turned out to be, from the day we arrived till the day of our departure the treatment by the staff was second to none. The hotel facilities were clean, modern and very comfortable, we had a spacious suite over looking the bay with a double balcony which made sitting on the balcony a treat.
We had a few requests of the hotel namely the delivery of flowers and champagne the morning of our anniversary which was delivered at the appointed time, with a surprise cake and bottle of rose cava compliments of the hotel management.
The complimentary cake and cava aside I cannot fault this hotel in anyway shape or form and would highly recommend a trip to the hotel spa.

The room was light airy and well equiped which both myself and my husband loved. All the staff were very helpful and polite. The over all Hotel was beautiful. I would recommend making the most of it the indoor pool and spa was fantastic, treating yourself to treatments is a must it was so relaxing.Be careful if you wish to use the hair salon on the bottom level which I was very disapointed with both service, outcome and price structure which wasnt clear but this was a separate business to the hotel.

First time at this hotel while in Malta.
The location is really great, close to everything and with the bus stop outside the door of the hotel
An extra special thanks to the staff for looking after me.
Only one issue comes to mind that needs to be addressed and that is the elevators. It took me nearly 10 minutes to get an elevator in the morning. A smart system needs to be installed or something needs to be done to me make the elevators faster.
Overall a good hotel for both business and a vocation.

We enjoyed our stay at le Meridien St Julians for almost 2 weeks. Hotel location was perfect; all restaurants are within walking distance, and you can also reach several swimming locations by walking from the hotel. All staff at the hotel were super friendly, and we really felt like special guests with my husband. Breakfast was excellent. Spa was also nice, only the gym was a bit small and over crowded since the locals also visit it.

Enjoyed. Our balcony view was great, but sadly balcony was never cleaned. Take care if you have a chance to book your room though, many balconies look out over a car park. Food nice, especially breakfast. Evenings got rather repetitive. Staff in restaurant lovely. WiFi didn't work at any time - response from the nice girl at the desk: it's still a work in progress! Pools are lovely & never crowded. Concierge staff especially helpful & protect you from overcharging taxis! I'd go again.

Great service, great Spa, great location. Rooms are large and all equipped with a balcony. No trust in the customer's honesty (you can't even open the minibar without putting a deposit on your credit card). The roofdeck terasse closes too early and the other bar is far too expensive for this low quality, especially regarding food. And why did you put concrete and artificial plants in front of the magnificant view? People stand up all the time to have a look at the bay...

We needed an extra bed in the room for a 16 year old and it was so narrow, I would be afraid of falling out of it. I reported it to the receptionist on arrival, who said she would inform the manager but alas I received NO feedback. I think that mattresses should have covers for hygiene purposes. The food was average only, breakfast was just ok and even local beer was overpriced at €5 per pint while it was €1.50 up the street - more expensive than imported beer at home.

It is 5 star hotel, and unfortunately, the AC is not working. It is actually working; but, the centralized system was put on heat.
However, it is Malta and most of the year of Malta is warm, and I really do not understand why they do not have cold on AC during this time, especially, when it is around 20 degrees.
I felt like I was in Turkish Bath. It is 5 star and a chain hotel; but, you cannot get cold from AC. Here, we are talking about Malta not Alaska.

The staff couldn't help us enough. No matter what you needed they were always friendly and very helpful. Great location amazing view!
Be sure to get a sea view as high up as you can. We were on the 11th floor and our view of Balluta Bay was spectacular. Sean and Christian, Nick and Clevan as well as the concierge staff were fabulous!! The staff of the jewellery store were very patient.

Our stay was very pleasant, room was clean, staff very helpful.
It did lack the wow factor for me to recommend it to my family/friends.
Small attention to detail that was missing - cleaning person took one of the robes away EVERY SINGLE day - we had to call to have it re-delivered, remote control was missing from the room - we had to call, we had wine delivered - no opener (had to call), went for a SPA treatment - the first one was not very good - it seemed rushed and lacked structure. The second one I had was excellent. Food at the breakfast wasn't great - especially the cooked parts. I was expecting higher quality than this for the price we paid. Also the latte was at extra charge and the quality of it varied from one day to another.
All of the above really small things - yet make a difference between good and great.

I am a single traveller. Normally the rooms for single use are very basic. In Meridien St Julian's they give me a free upgrade to an executieve room. Thank you very much for that. It was very relaxing
My stay was very good and wonderful. Very good location for visiting Malta. Well done to all staff. I took half board. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. I will return in the future and i will recommend this hotel !

Our first trip to Malta was made very memorable by our choice of hotel. The hotel is clean, and quiet notwithstanding the internet comments that St. Julien's and surrounding environment is "party city".The staff were very attentive and friendly, especially towards our 6 year old son. The concierge was very helpful with suggestions/tips on tours and getting around that really made our trip memorable. Would stay again in a heartbeat

We have just returned from a very enjoyable stay in your wonderful hotel and Spa Our room was really comfortable and The bathroom was well stocked a wonderful seaview. Your staff were realy friendly and helpful. The reception staff were really antentive however our registration was rather confusing as we found the information was not clearly inparted to us. We would definately return to Le Meridian

2 elevators is not enough for 5* hotel.we sped a lot of time waiting for elevators.
in order to get a bottle of water as a spg member i had to call 3 times!!
i didn't get points for my stay!!!
i payed for bottle of water in the dinner.i paid a lot of money for dinner.water for money??!!!
i'm so was so diappointed so i gave back my spg card.i don't want to be a member of such a organization!!!

The hotel was good, staf was nice.
The bed was hard to sleep in, one more madras.
Old and oncunfutibal shers in the diningroom.
If this had ben my hotel i have same iders to make the gests stay for dinners and drinks.
My experiens is that after brekfast nowan was intrested of staing.
We for a exampel did not stay one night becorse nothing atracted os.
New thinking i needed and you can start making good many on the resturang.

The hotel is in a great location in St Julian's, just off the front, overlooking Balluta Bay. We had a sea view & large balcony. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The bed was firm, which we like, but the pillows were less than useless. Breakfast was disappointing. While there was a reasonable choice, the quality was lacking, e.g. tinned fruit!

This is for many reasons. Courtesy by the staff, cleanliness, and a vast selection of tasty food.
There are rooms overlooking Balluta Bay. Other rooms are with a typical maltese country view so as to watch maltese farmers in harmony with nature. Above all,safety is given the utmost importance.
Now that we've stayed in most hotels in Malta, Le Meridien St. Julians Hotel & Spa, has become our favourite.
This for not only one reason. Courtesy by the staff, cleanliness, and a vast selection of tasty food.
We sometimes choose a room overlooking Balluta Bay. Other times we choose a room with a typical
maltese country view so as to watch maltese farmers in harmony with nature. Above all,safety must have been given
utmost importance since planning stage and is still to the present day.

The LeMeridian and staff certainly rank amongst the best in the world and hotels I ever stayed in.
I had a 6 night stay and this was magnificent as was the room. Tony, the concierge,, was remarkable and displayed top rank people skills. The chasing of the lost luggage by Emirates was astounding and fund in our room the next day after our first day out.
The only comment I have if I had to make one is that on our return stay after a Europe trip and for our last 3 nights, the room requested was admittedly booked with limited sea views only we found ourselves in a room at the back with no glimpse of water anywhere. Seriously not an issue and would never deter me from staying at the Le Meriian St Julians. In fact. I now know precisely what room to book and look forward to my return.
The events manager Cristine was also extremely helpful in organising a small family get together. I was amazed at the amount of effort and attention she gave regardless of the small number.
Congratulations, Le Meridian St Julians. Top class

in the restaurant and corridors etc. It is too dull.
The thing which let us down was Spa management of the hotel. It published special offer but when making enquiries, to book they do not have the facilities. Customer service is very poor. They need to understand requirement of the customer. No apologies were given even after complaining. My advice is do not bother with Spa treatments.
