Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel By The Sea The Hotel is a great place to spend time both for business and relaxation. Located by the Sea Coast, guests are able to view the sea from most of the rooms. Guest have 2 Options for Dinner - in the main restaurant or outside by the Pool sharing the fence with the sea thus giving guest who have selected this option an opportunity to (i) enjoy the breeze straight from the sea (ii) watch the waves from the sea spash water safely into the yard through safety holes in the fence and make a choice of how their food should be cooked. Guest should not be surprised with some delays in meeting some requests. December 23, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by This hotel is a threat to your brand The keys I received the first time around, did not work. I had to come down, wait at the check in queue again and be given a new room. This time I was given a room that was exactly the way it was when the last guest left. As a bonus the airconditioning didn't work and stayed that way for my stay inspite of my complaining and a technician coming to take a look at it. The next morning, at breakfast I had to eat at a dirty table because the staff couldn't be bothered to clean it. When I book to stay at Le Meridien hotel I expect a basic level of cleanliness and functionality. That trust has unfortunately been breached. I will think twice before booking at a Le Meridien hotel that I am unfamiliar with, in the future. May 30, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by Le Meridien Libvreville Hotel review This hotel standard is very unsatisfactory. I had a water leak in my bathroom, they never came to repair it though I did ask many times. They try to charge additional drinks and food on final invoices. The staff do not care about the customers though many business people stay there.The rate is very low, Only the terrasse with the swilling pool is nice. I will not go there again. March 21, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 Bad hotel I'm a platinum SPG guest, and I've traveled a lot in North America, Caribean and Europe. I can honestly say this was my worst stay of them all. The only good thing though, was the cake they made for my son's first birthday when I got there, that was really nice. But then, after that all went downhill: there was a hot water outage, which meant that we took cold showers for about 2 days, internet outage for a day, towels had to be requested regularly, etc... I feel like some of the staff is really trying to be helpful and are nice while others clearly couldn't care less.Also the overall condition of the hotel is questionable and I would think they will renovate it soon. Quite frankly, not up to international standards. I do not recommend there unless you really have no other choice. September 21, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Needs renovation Hotel itself ok. Especially food and pool facilities are good. But the rooms (I even had a SPG room on 6th floor) are terribly run down. Dirt spots all over the carpet, furniture and ceiling. Looks quite disgusting. Big cut in the foot rest of the chair. Nobody seems to care to replace furniture or remove the carpets. The hallways doesn't look much better. Rooms and floors need really renovation! August 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by ok except restaurant service Hotel is fine even if bathroom look old. But main unsatisfactory point was the pool restaurant service or should i say lack of service. After 20min waiting I went to pick the menu myself when asking if it was self-service they replied someone will come. After additional 15min i ordered directly from the bar. The table was not even settled when they brought my plate (no forks, no salt/pepper...) August 25, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Enchokete I really appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the fact that I was feeling like at home. The personal was quite responsive to the guests requests, even though I found the security guys a little bit rude in their approach. They should be trained to act with a little be of tact. Also I think that that there are room for improvment of the quality of the breakfast. December 12, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Totally uneccaptable But for two individuals, staff members are both unprofessional and truly not interested by clients. Air con has been off in the whole hotel for a long time but it doesn't change the very high price and not even an apology is offered. Management is well hidden! The fact that it seems there will be a renovation starting in 2014 is certainly not an excuse. As a cherry on the cake food is bad. March 10, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Room Comfort I have to commend your effort in keeping the rooms clean. I am asthmatic and often avoid carpets. But your carpets were clean and did not irritate me. Thank you. You will need to improve some of the furnishing though. I stayed in Room 360. The room was adequate. But, the side board covering the bath tub has rotted away. It looks nasty. Please replace it. Rated 4 out of 5 by The Hotel Acomodation Floor for SPG Members I found this time the Accommodation Floor together with the SPG Member Rooms(at the 6th Floor) excellent in "Le Meridien RENDAMA" in Libreville. Besides this,the overall charming smile of both the Front Desk and Reception Staff is matching with the new look of the internal facility ..Significant improvement ! Keep-up please. Rated 3 out of 5 by Rooms need updating Tiles in the shower room had mold in-between. First day there was only one towel and a half used toilet roll! As a Star guest I normally get bottled water - none was provided and each day I had to ask. The fridge had been removed and the rail in the wardrobe was dusty - most likely had never been cleaned. Staff is very professional and available despite a few omissions times. insstant but it is served with a smile. A real gem in the heart of Libreville in the city center, ideal for shopping and other nightlife. Do not hesitate to go. September 16, 2013

The hotel is also very expensive but does not meet the standard of comparable Starwood hotels. The only great thing about this hotel is the kindness of his staff. That's really its only asset. Rated 3 out of 5 by No what I paid for The room I got #203 was not at all what I was expecting, at $250 a night I do not have to ask for towels, or ask that the floors get cleaned. The room smelled bad and did not even have a proper shower, I was dissapointed!!!! September 10, 2012
