This hotel needs to do a full makeover to be worthy of the 4 stars! First, the beds are so hard, that you can feel the springs. Pillows are filled with some smelly, cheap synthetic filling, that absorbs the sweat from previous guests. The shower had black mold in one corner, and it was leaking on 2 sides - what a design. The "white" towels looked so gray like they have been used to clean the floors. When using them, it felt like you are scrubing sandpaper on the skin. We didn't get a room on the SPG floor, even though we booked with our Gold status card.
SPG should really reconsider keeping this hotel in their network!!

ich bin bereits 4-5 x im Le Meridien München gewesen und es wurde von Jahr zu Jahr schlechter ... eine richtige Massenabfertigung, das alles hat nichts mehr mit einem 5* Haus zu tun; wenn man beim Frühstück 2 Sachen zu gleich bestellt, wurde fast immer eines davon vergessen; Das Lokal war total ungemütlich, keine Tischtücher, die Kellner 2-klassig und total ungeeigent für ein sogeanntes 5*Sterne Haus ... 4 Tage Aufenthalt und kein einziges Mal Zimmerreinigung mit einem Staubsauger ...

The hotel met or exceeded my expectations in almost every dimension. Staff was great at recognizing my as a Starwood member. I recieved a very nice upgrade. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Even though we had a room that faced the main street, we did not find it noisy. Internet worked just fine. EXCELLENT location across from train station - we had lots of luggage but managed quite fine using the rail system to and fromt he airport. Only disappointment was the gym facilities were rather weak (pool was fine) but workout area not what I would expect. However, used this very little as we did a lot of walking to the local sites.

Das Haus ist sehr zentral (direkt neben dem Münchner Hauptbahnhof) gelegen. Dennoch sehr ruhig. Die Suite war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und nicht übermöbliert. Sehr gut ist die Küche des Restaurants mit einer modernen und leichten Küche. Überragend ist die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter.

My hotel telefone were broken and I asked for it to be fixed and they said that it would be done but that never happend. So it was not possible to ask for service to the room and I had to walk long hallways only to ask for an express dry cleaning and I found out that I could only have same day laundry but not dry cleaning. Strange for a 5 star hotel, but they were able to steam my suit so that helped. Carpet in room needs deep cleaning.

This hotel has a lot to offer, not only is located a block away from the Central Station and 15 minutes from the city center but also it is a pleasure to have such happy , kind a knowledgeable staff in an upscale hotel. Congratulations to Martin, the Concierge for superb service. It was nice to be recognized after 1 year of visiting the Meridian. We felt right at home with such a warm welcome and consideration of an upgraded room. The breakfast was the best I ever had. The largest selection ofitems were fresh and delicious. Every day we were greeted by the friendly hostess and wait by the nicest and attentive staff. The attention to decoration and nice aroma of the hotel made it our stay so much nicer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Vergesslich Dieses Hotel hat ein freundliches, entgegenkommendes und jeden Wunsch erfüllendes Personal.
Gefallen haben neben dem Personal die Zimmer.
Es escheint, dass die Zusammensetzung des Frühstücks zu überlegen wäre. Es sollte nicht so deutlich ein Charme von Rotstift motivertem Frühstück durchkommen. Wie auch in den Kernfrühstückszeiten ausreichend Personal zum Auffüllen des Büffets eingesetzt werden sollte, damit nicht der Eindruck eines "abgefressenen Büffets" entsteht.
Dafür ist der Preis für das Frühstück zu hoch und lässt auch das Hotel in einem unverdienten Licht dastehen.
Und wenn sich ab und an öfter als bspw. am 14. April 2013 gegen Mittag jemand der Sanitärräume im Bereich der Gastronomie ansehen.
Ich / wir möchte/n abschließend ein Lob auf das Personal aussprechen!
