Restaurants, fitness center, all other facilities are fantastic, in addition the staff at every part of the hotel makes you feel at home. -Last but not least, the location of the hotel is fantastic. After two days of nonstop travel, it was a very relaxing and comfortable experience. You won't go wrong with Le Méridien Dubai Hotel! The standard hotel room was a bit dingy and dark, but we then upgraded to a superior room with a small outside terrace. This room was fantastic with all the comforts. we recommend the upgrade for an extra £20.00 per night. November 27, 2013

Otherwise a great hotel, fantastic grounds, great restaurants, very close to airport. But best of all the great staff, helped us every step of the way and made the visit fantastic. Rated 3 out of 5 by Unexpected and unwelcome early monring call! Staying for one night on a 10-hr layover between international flights. I checked-in late and was scheduled to depart at 5.00am. I had an early morning call booked for 4.30am. At approx 1.40am I had a call from reception requesting if I was scheduled for a flight to South Africia! Needless-to-say, this was most disruptive to my short sleep. When I was checking out I mentioned this call. My comments appeared not to have been taken very seriously and was brushed off by the check-out opertaor. November 16, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Should I come back? I have been to Dubai about 5 or 6 times in the last couple years, and the only Hotel I have ever stayed was the Le Meridien Airport. I was there again for 2 nights this week and because of a business delay needed to stay one more evening. I was very disappointed they could not find a room for me to extend my stay one more night, and even more disappointed when I discovered they made this exception for the two colleagues I was traveling with. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great transit hotel ! Stayed there at the end of October 2013 , great breakfast, great internet and great pool makes this place a great place for a transit hotel. I had 2 nights and 1 day to spare, this is now my new favorite transit hotel in Dubai. So close to the airport for those early flight when you do not feel like getting up. November 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very convenient to airport Arrived in Dubai too late to feel like pressing on to final destination of Abu Dhabi. Transportation to the hotel was very timely and not too expensive. Very convenient to airport but also easy access to the freeway when it was time to head down to AD. Staff was very friendly and helpful; restaurants were excellent. Room was very comfortable. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great hotel for short stopover Hotel is great in all areas except staff needs to educate themselves with the telephone rate cards in the room. For a toll free #, the rate card shows dhs 2 per call (30 minutes) whereas I was charged dhs 2 per minute (locall call). When I brought to their attention, the bill was reduced by 50% percent. Frankly does not care for few bucks but rate cards are misleading. November 3, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Very close to airport Recommended on the basis of proximity to airport, room cleanliness & friendly staff. Also Dubai Mall only 35-40 DEM away by metered taxi. Seafood Market Restuarant well worth the visit even if only on short layover at airport. If staying make sure you ask for room with large window and preferably on ground floor with patio. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great hotel unscrupulous taxi drivers Hotel was beautiful, clean, nice gym + other facilities, and the staff was friendly in the hotel. Would definitely stay there again. There were a few times when I asked the staff and concierge for advice on things to see and do in Dubai and they struggled with some of my questions. I believe the concierge had a "training" badge however. When I went to the front door, the staff were helpful at waving over a taxi but I think the hotel needs to better screen taxis that they let their guests use or they need some system of accountability for the taxis that they let onto their property. My reasons are as follows: Taxi #1: Did not have adequate change and made me (over)pay in dollars even though I had ample AED on hand. Taxi#2: Did not know how to drive to the correct terminal at DXB, even though terminal was only about 1km from hotel. Cab driver was new, was talking on his mobile trying to get directions from a friend but, even though I explained where he needed to drive, he did not listen and, ultimately, I had to get out and walk. Most taxis I've taken in Dubai have offered an excellent experience but, the only 2 that I picked up at this hotel fell short. I know that the taxis are not employed by the hotel and I know that the hotel also offers an in-house driver but I'd recommend stronger taxi screening procedures. October 30, 2013
